I've been noticing a lot of incredibly powerful fruits come into use. Now I know, some fruits have been banned, but what should one do to combat the existing ones? It appears to me that we are making it like one needs a devil's fruit to be even remotely powerful or to even combat them to a point. I do believe a counter measure is in order, even if it is minor. Please excuse this if it sounds a lot like complaining, but I'm just concerned about complete annihilation of the fruitless people. Well I agree with this in a disagreeing sense. Every fruit out there (except for some Logia) has it's own weakness, and it's over powered against something. Take Soren's Shields for instance, he's over powered as hell in a one on one fight (depending on the opponent). Against two people however (just surround him) and he's left on even ground, he requires eye contact with his shields to keep them formed, so attacks from behind and front at the same time = a screwed Soren. Then there's Nate's logia fruit, air's weakness = fire, so something as simply as s torch would leave him utterly powerless (fire 'eats' air, so if he tried to turn into air around it, he'd be killed in an instant if there was any kind of fire around him). i dont agree with u on this yes fire is the weakness but a tourch cant comsume more then it can handle it would take somthing like a fire of a house to be able to suck the life out of somthing like that fire only comsumes the amount of air that it needs to continue to burn not any more then that (for exaple take a match and light it then blow at it the fire will go out even strong wind can put out fire) He wouldn't be completely consumed by the torch, but if even a small part of him comes close to the fire, then he's be consumed by it. He could very well lose an arm (tho if he maintains his physical form then he'd be fine) what i mean is wind can blow out fire if its strong enough that is why i was saying somthing like a house on fire would be more realistic It's just something to limit your devil fruit, most logia are so over powered they need some kind of limiter, especially wind. With a snap of your fingers you could disperse all air within an area and make it so people just suffocate and die. Which you can't do of course simply because that is again, to over powered. There simply has to be something that can prevent your char from just vanishing into nothing and running away when ever he pleases, the ability to dodge no matter what is a god mod, meaning it needs to be dummed down, hence why something as simple as fire would = a basic way to prevent you from doing so, while still letting you keep a majority of your char. i now thats why i've been keeping him on low radar i now that he can be to strong thats why im making him not fight to much and he can be stronger later like grand line when there are stronger charcters he is a person that will grow during the time i mean he will be second hand man for the revalutionarie army lol

If I were you I'd say let them get captured, then have something happen that lets them escape while their being hauled back to be imprisoned, they'd need help to escape yes, but if they escape after being securely imprisoned on a ship, then 1: that'll up their bounties, 2: that'll get their names out, and 3: it'll give them a "rival" of the seas, that one person they aim to beat. Luffy has Shanks, Zolo has Hawk eye. You get it.

You get it. yes that is true but what happens when a new recruit with past training fights with with some one that as no experince goes aginest a person like a captain the battle will be won by skill not power and we have bolth skill and power so we will see how it goes lol (also i edited the post kk)

While saying where it's aimed at was what I was going for partially, I need to know how fast it's going, what kind of blast is it, just saying it's an air blast basically leaves me with the right to define all the things you left out. I could say it was just a tiny breeze that brushed against his chest. This is why you need to describe every little detail of your attack(s).

But you are right (just read your bio and saw your chars age). So your char (depending on his encounters as a pirate) would be relatively on par with Soren.

.w. I'm just gonna clarify for everyone... that my characters have little to no fighting training.
Padraic is just lucky that he is strong and is used to his hammer from working on ships. Sure, the hammer is quite a bit larger than the average hammer, but his strength backs him up in that bit. I'm not calling him juggernaut because he is not-stoppable. <_< Maybe it'll be that reason later on. The reason he's being called that now, is because it's hard for him to stop said hammer once he starts swinging it. Which is why people should avoid being in range of the swings, he might accidentally hit you. He'll gain better control of it later.
xD Lexi has no training because she's 8. She only got her devil fruit a few months prior to the current story, and so far only knows how to "squish" people and float around.
I'd like to think that Danny has had her zoan for around two years, the fact that her character is so cat-like normally is just her personality. So far, she only knows how to transform and do some rather basic attacks. (She had trouble with that sea king in tiger form) =o It actually exhausts her to stay transformed for too long. As a human, she's very nimble and flexible, so she can move fast. But she's not strong in that form unlike her tiger form. smile
I've planned ahead for all of my characters to mature in their abilities... >_> So no, they aren't automatic bad-asses. ._.
