LadyBanhammer I meant more that your Bizarro twin never has a shell. Because your bizarro twin is discourteous! o_o It's hard to figure out Fiddlers' bizarro form as I don't know him as well as other people do. >.<I am touched, thank you. smile 'tisn't really much to know about me, I am mostly as I seem, a rather curmudgeonly and boring man just past his prime, with airs of intellectual ambition and more failures than victories to learn from. if you have any questions, feel free to ask.As for the evolution of my look... The addition of the shell to let people know I am offline is mostly the only real change I have had. The same hair, eyes, and vulpine parts have been with me for most of my time here. (The Fox Ears and Tail are a part of Me, they are not detachable, if I am in a humanoid form, and they aren't present, it is an imposter) 3nodding

So a few nights ago my mum was going on and on and on about how only Christians should be allowed to celebrate Christmas and anyone who partakes in any Christmas celebration and isn't Christian is evil and bad and blah blah blah.
Tonight, she invited two of my brother's friends--Sam, who's Jewish, and Chad, who's Buddhist--to join us for Christmas dinner and Jesus cake. xp

SpaceTerminal Destiny The Indubitable Katie-Kat eek gonk rofl Did not explain. gonk Family tradition, birthday cake for Jesus, started when we were kids to make sure we didn't think Christmas was all about presents ('cause our parents never took us to church, as they couldn't agree on WHICH church), now enforced and kept going by my sister, and I suspect my parents would happily leave off with it because they know my brother and I aren't Christian.

TeaDidikai Maze Have you ever heard of 'kombucha' tea tsaine? My mother drank it with for her psoriasis and it worked marvelously for her, at least. All the kombucha I am familiar with is made with actual tea- hence the "cha" in the name. wink Quote: You can get your own.. uh.. culture, I believe the English word is, and 'raise' it real cheap. Just takes some effort keeping up with it, I guess, but hey. *shrugs* They're called babies. Kombucha, like vinegar has a "mother", and segments that are taken from the mother or that split off are "babies". Oh, cool! I thought 'kombucha' was just the name for the .. the.. (XD I tried to look up the translation for the Dutch word 'zwam', the.. the thing, and http://www.freetranslation.com tells me it means 'inclined to' which.. no, it doesn't. XD) itself, but okay, I'll remember that, thanks. biggrin @Scorplett: My mom had one of those big bottles for it. Kept it in the basement, where it was cool. Not sure what all else she did with it, but I didn't get the impression that it required a lot of space.. .. Of course, this was years ago, so I might be remembering wrong.. XD; @Nuri: Maybe this will be of use, Nuri. I can't promise anything, as I haven't tested it or anything, but, there you have it. XD;

My avvies have all been fairly Niamh looking - even the one I have right now is pretty close apart from the blue skin and lack of glasses. I think the one constant oddity I had was a daisy on my head, which I have since given away.
I realised today that knitting is the only reason I have stayed in good humour since coming home for the Happy Family Christmas. stare
I've been knitting constantly for three days. I haven't lost my temper or become irritable once.
In other news, I may have to stop eating dairy and sugar again. Skin's going mad again, and this time it's my forehead.

My grandpa had to go to the hospital tonight. Possibly a stroke. Hopefully he'll be okay soon.

@Dreya: Thank you
@Tea: If you mean for my grandpa, I really don't know. The hospital people seem to think it was a stroke and are doing more tests. They're also watching him overnight to make sure that there's no more issues. He seemed okay last my family knew, with no permanent effects from it that the hospital people could detect.
If you mean me, I'm just sort of burned out and exhausted at this point. Probably the only thing for me to do is to go crawl into bed and hope tomorrow holds good news
