I guess that depends on what you believe in.. I based Ravens abilities off the primal power source of the ley lines... ley lines are like blood vessels for magic, if I think along those lines then it eventually leads one to wonder where the flow of power originates, that leads to the concept of a heart for all that power to flow from *shrugs* like I said, it all depends on what you believe!

Crawley, you all are scaring Desi.
Kim Harrison? Is that where you got Raven's abilities? I love her books. It was the first time I really read about a ley line power source.

I've never read any of their books.
Have you read The Sword of Shannara series by Terry Brooks? Those are awesome. It's about elves and druids.

Decide?
...but... one of those was rhetorical and one was based off the other. Which means the answer to the first real question must be yes, at which point logic follows that the second real question's answer is "yes".
Deductive reasoning. *monocle*

Trying to get some peace from how the Gaian world is going crazy, Kael will, after some battle he'd been trying to avoid, end up lost in the lifestream and be found later on dragon island with mako poisoning and nursed back to health.
Owle will end up there by chance and find him wheelchair bound and barely responsive, just in time for Eden to attack the island, at which point they'll both be submerged into the lifestream. Therein, she will find herself inside his head seeing just why he's been stressed and running away, and offer him solace to have it suddenly end. They'll both wake up in the wreckage of the island and with a new resolve he'll go rejoin the good fight, somehow instantly restoring the manpower and morale they need to turn things around and save the world.
Also: I kept staring at the end of that post waiting for a "gee hee, Rho" to pop up there.

I just realized how funny it is that Vahn and Athan are gonna take the train to Strata, and there are three people wandering the desert to get to it.
I obviously didn't think on that one... but then again, the train system is in the town descrips.

Having a train whoosh past Kael would have been funnier...
But the chances of Reyin and Kael actually meeting would have been like, zero if that had happened.
