I chuckle wearily and pat her on the head. "I'm fine. I still have the necklace my mother's necklace. It was the one that I slipped to you when that man attacked. And I still have good memories from before that happened. That's what I remember first and foremost." As I speak, I make sure to remember my real parents instead of my in-game parents. My real life is the one that want to cling to. I have more in my real life than I do here.

"Well, I need you to turn around first..." I say to her playfully. I loosen my grip to let her spin, though I find myself strangly unwilling to let go of her. Somehow, being around her makes me happy and relaxed, and I couldn't explain why...

She looks at the bottom line of the document, causing her eyes to grow wide as saucers. She then flips to the next page, where you wrote down the price. She starts to tear up.
"Oh...L-Layla...!" she says happily.
She hugs you tightly, crying into your shoulder.

"Yeah, that was something that was pretty long overdue... so, you like it?" I ask her. I start gently stroking her back. I couldn't help but vicariously enjoy her excitement. I tighten my arms around her. Damnit Xiao, now I want to cry!

Crap! Think of something else that I don't have in this game. My boyfriend. I need to think of him. I remember the last time I saw him before he left on his mission. He dropped a bunch of pans as he was trying to put them away. He's oddly clumsy when he's not on missions and not having to be stealthy. I smile at the memory of him just staring at them seemingly dumbfounded at the fact that he dropped them.

I breathe a sigh of relief. I guess Jase is my strongest link to the real world. I guess I made Nyx's history too much like mine. The necklace is identical to the one my real mom gave me, so it might help. More importantly, though, I don't have a boyfriend in this world, so, no matter what, I must remember Jase.

I giggle a little bit at how cute Xiao got when she was happy. I shift my hands dow to her hips and gaze warmly into her eyes, which shined like a set of beautiful gemstones, and where as deep and vivid as the finest emeralds and sapphires I've had the joy of laying my sights on.
"So, shall we make this offical?" I say in a sly tone, almost whispering.

I nod in an understanding manner. "Ya, that makes sense..." I say softly. "I'm personally not too sure how long I'm sticking here. If things go well, I might... I'm just not used to...people..." I blush slightly as I realize how strange I am when compared to everyone else here... and also how awkward it might be for Apollo...

I feel excited when Xiao's lips lock with mine. My heart starts to rush, faster then anything from I've ever experienced before, even from being tossed out a window. A surge of joy fills me as I lose myself in the moment. Seconds seem to fade and stretch into non-existance. I start wondering if I should french her, the action feeling so right, but I wondered if she would be angered by that. Either way, I felt my concerns, fears, restrictions and doubt start to melt away in the wake of bliss...
