Or maybe my Clear was taken from Earth by some Homeworld soldiers and brought back to be charged/questioned/shattered for treason and somehow they end up working together? I'm game for anything if you are.

Yeah, but we could do it like as a different "universe" or something, or through PMs. Idk I was mainly just shooting ideas. I do have another character though, a Blue Diamond member named Stibnite who could be convinced to rebel rather easily, if that might be better. I haven't used her for anything yet

Hello. Hawk's Eye was approved today. She belongs to Blue Diamond.
I completed the Moon Base mission from my Diamond. 100 years after the end of the war, I flew my ship to Earth to execute my next order. I failed one of them several thousands of years later. My Diamond does not tolerate failure. I will complete my remaining orders and request shattering.
Truth be told, I'm there and Happywho is around, but the guy who was driving it with me disappeared. I'd be happy to RP with you one on one though~! And

Guessing we would be on Earth, and, if I've read the Earth rp correctly, you would be Clear Quartz? Since Clear is a Crystal Gem, that would make him an enemy of Hawk's Eye. One of Hawk's remaining orders is to find rebellion members and shatter/capture them.
If there's no history, I'm not sure how they would get along at any point. (Hawk would probably keep attempting to assassinate.)
Since both were "soldiers," perhaps they would have met at some point during the war before Clear Quartz betrayed his Diamond. (Or was it "her" at that point?) Maybe Clear saved Hawk at some point from capture? Not sure.

Clear would probably recognize Hawk's essence (or just her face, recognizing an old ally) and then go from there. And yeah, he would've been a "she" and looked like a proper quartz back then so he'd be basically unrecognizable currently xD

Sounds good! Hawk has an ability called "Stealth."
Description: Stealth: Can mask her presence to all senses unless she initiates an interaction (speaking/attacking) with someone else or unless she's careless enough to let someone accidentally make contact with her.
In this case, I think Clear Quartz's ability to detect essence can counter Hawk's ability -especially if Hawk is approaching a target to confirm its identity first.
Should we figure out how they saved each other? Or just keep that as potential background info to be edited?
Probably, if he thinks he's being followed he'd probably see her easily. Maybe we could keep it vague and organically add on as the RP progresses? Like, I had a thought that Hawk was being ganged up on by rebels and then when it seemed hopeless, Clear's team saved them, but they didn't get much time to actually interact (or we could go visa-versa where Clear needs saving)
