Lanzer Pianette Features- RunwayThemes Could the Runway forum get a thread where users could suggest themes to be taken out of rotation for a while since they're getting stale? Like REALLY REALLY STALE. Maybe it could be held to a vote as well so themes aren't taken out unfairly/before they've been fully explored. We're in the middle of making it so that mods can help manage new themes. Sorry for the wait.

Lanzer The Dread Wolf Features -- Runway The runway is still desperately in need of new themes. sweatdrop How is the quest for enabling it so mods can input themes? btw....the other day we had the theme of orignal characters, which was a themes that we have not seen in a long time. the participation was super high! it would be great to get new themes so we could have a continued higher participation in the runway and more energy and happiness in regards to the runway feature! whee We're putting together mods to help handle this, now that the engineering side is done. Hopefully we'll see new themes next week!

But seriously, we know there are still issues we have to work out and we haven't forgotten about it. We plan on coming up with something that will help mitigate the problem further, but currently don't have an ETA.
Narumi Misuhara Pianette Features-RunwayDaily Voting Now that we have a site-wide daily stamp that resets if you miss a day, would it be possible to have the Runway's stamp system be like that as well? We're open to it, is there a petition?
Narumi Misuhara Lovely_pan FeaturesI really appreciate that some of the cheating has been looked into when it comes to runway. Do you plan to implement a more permanent solution to the cheating that sometimes occurs? There have been so many great changes(new themes for runway, return of zOMG) made to Gaia. It has been a real treat these last few weeks. Thank you! biggrin We'll be adding additional tools that will make it much easier for staff and moderators to catch these things as they're occurring and handle accordingly. smile

Zero Omega Lya Ness Art Art Arenas Do mythical creatures count under cosplay avatars? Maybe if the mythical creature is from something you could cosplay from? Lanzer if it's based on a story, then technically yes. Though most people are used to seeing cosplay with characters that they've visually seen from TV, Movies, or comics.
Lanzer Urano Metoria ArenasIs it possible to fix searching up arena entries ? Arenas is really buggy and it would be nice for it to be fixed : ) It's on my to-do list. Shouldn't be hard to fix the search.
Narumi Misuhara MrTwinklehead Features - RunwayWould it be possible to add a feature to allow one to choose which way you're facing? So many items change depending on which way your avatar is facing, so having the runway only allow one direction is actually kinda limiting. Doesn't help too much either that we can't even see these changes until after we've saved into them due to how the dressroom doesn't have that function as well. I'm not sure I fully understand. The Runway saves your avatar based on how it is right when you hit the submit button. So if you are crouching or turned around, that should be the way the image gets saved. Are you saying this is not the case?

It's really difficult when there's 20+ pages and you have to go through every page trying to find where you ended up especially since votes aren't shown its hard to see where you'd be in comparison. I've gone through page after page and have either given up or realized I've skipped myself early on. A link that takes you directly to the page you placed on would save everyone so much grief wondering how they measured up. xd This is doable. I"ll add it to our list.

Zero Omega Arowan Features Gaia Runway With the recent anti-cheating measures implemented, have Admin noticed a change in cheating rates lately? It seems much better lately from my end as a regular user, but I'm curious to know how staff are interpreting the results 3nodding We have definitely noticed a drop in users using mules to vote on their own avatars and other methods of cheating. It's not a perfect solution, but for now I think has helped and allows us to address Gaians who are concerned about cheating in Runway.

Narumi Misuhara Dogoda Features Remember all of those explicit avatars from the seven deadly sins runway contest and how Narumi needed eye bleach because of how raunchy it was... I was told that you were going to look into a report avatar function for runway because of this, any update on that? I would be nice to be able to report explicit avatars and avatars spamming the runways for not following the theme. A direct report system no, I did add the ability for "live" moderation of contests so Admins and mods can see and remove entries in a running contest. I do plan to go back and add in a reporting system for you guys.

Lanzer Pianette Features- RunwaySince the update to the new captcha system, captchas haven't been appearing at all while voting, Which, while it's nice not to have to deal with in every 20 votes anymore, Is frustrating when you can't vote because you have to make a post on the forums. tldrCan a captcha be added back to the Runway vote pages again? Sounds like a bug, I'll get it fixed ASAP.

Zero Omega Canicuss Runway CheatingFirst I want to say I do appreciate that Gaia has made an effort to curb cheating in Runway and I know the mods have put a lot of time into monitoring the Runway on a daily basis. My concern is it seems some people have found ways around the measures that have been put into place. There seems to be some people that win a lot. One of them has placed in the top three 13 times in a little over a month and one of those was with a duplicate avatar they had already won with. We seem to be experiencing a lot of the same problems we did before. I don't know if you are able to do anything about these questionable wins but I felt the need to bring it up because there seems to be a lot of chatter and grumbling about cheating again and a lot of frustration and it really takes a lot of fun out of the feature if you don't feel like you're playing by the same rules as everyone else. There's still a lot about Runway we're looking into and want to still implement to help stop as much cheating as possible. Sorry I don't have anything definitive right now, but we are hearing you out.

Lanzer Pianette Heya staff Features- RunwayCaptcha :/ A few weeks ago I asked about having the captcha being able to appear during runway voting again-- Since it had, since the switch, disappeared from the page, preventing voting if one hadn't been filled in. And I had gotten a positive response (that I would pull but mobile), but nothing happened. So Could the captcha be readded to the Runway pages so people don't have to run off and make a post on order to vote? That should have been fixed. Let me have a look at it tonight. Sorry for the wait.
