Sela's Outfit: Keeping Warm`❀.¸¸.❀´¯`❀.¸¸.❀´`❀.¸¸.❀´¯`❀.¸¸.❀´`❀.¸¸.❀´¯`❀.¸¸.❀´ She looked down at the book with confused frustration. Were they her favorite? "I don't know. Sometimes," she mumbled. Her daddy might think she's crazy if she told him. Her mommy was the only one that knew and didn't judge her, but would her daddy? Her stare continued to hold on the book cover. "Some nights, I have this nightmare about wolves. It starts out with this nice, pretty white wolf coming up to me and just staring at me. Each time, I try to reach out and touch it it turns into this humongous black wolf with red eyes and attacks me..." Her grip on the book became so forceful that her knuckles turned white. Her tiny body began to shake as she recalled the images of teeth and claws tearing into her. Nothing but those red eyes glaring at her.

Just sometimes? He could sympathize with that, and for a young girl unable to control that part of herself he emphasized that much more. It was when she went further with her explanation that his understanding became confusion. Sure, he dreamed about his wolf often: running through woods and even hunting prey...but his own wolf changing into another and attacking him? Other wolves if maybe you felt threatened, but never your own wolf. Abruptly he felt the sensation of his hair standing on end, feeling the flare of instinct driven caution stick to his wolf like a strong stench. The feeling came without revelation as to why. He reached and touched Sela's quivering shoulders. "It's okay, Sela. You and Daddy are going to figure this out, okay? Wolves are supposed to be your friends." He breathed quietly, masking the previous reaction. Sela's Outfit: Keeping Warm`❀.¸¸.❀´¯`❀.¸¸.❀´`❀.¸¸.❀´¯`❀.¸¸.❀´`❀.¸¸.❀´¯`❀.¸¸.❀´ Red eye slowly drifted up to him as he touched her shoulders. They were going to figure it out together? Just the two of them? Finally she could have something to bond with her daddy over. Her look of mild fear changed to one of utter confusion. "My wolf?" she asked with a curious tilt of her head. What was he talking about? "Mommy just said we had to find you so we could be a family again." She never mentioned anything about a wolf. Was it like a spirit animal or something? She was really confused right now. As far as she knew, she didn't have any wolf that needed to be known. She was just a normal four year old. Sure her family was a little weird. Her mommy had monster strength for crying out loud! But other than that, everything was normal as normal could be. She led a decent, quiet life with her mommy; nothing less and nothing more.

Pulling the book to her chest, one hand came up and rubbed her right eye. Nap time. Why'd he have to mention it? Suddenly she was so darn sleepy. She let out a small yawn and groaned sleepily. "No...I'm okay for now. I don't need daddy spending all his money on me," she mumbled. While he stood around looking at the book spines, Sela took a seat and leaned against the book shelf with her book held tightly to her chest. The moment she sat down, she was out like a light. She didn't know where the sudden surge of exhaustion came from, but it hit her like a sledge hammer.

Smiling softly, he wiggled the book slowly from her fingers and picked her up. Holding the bluette in one arm, he walked to the register and paid for the book. He waved off the bag offered to him and inched out the door. He kept Sela's head supported as he leaned forward and opened the door with two fingers. He tossed the book to land beside Ophelia, carefully nestling Sela into her seat and buckling her in. Sighing, he got behind the wheel and drove them home. He had some more things to talk to Lillian about, things they would eventually talk to Sela about. He felt a deep sense of worry and wanted to begin to address the issue with Sela concerning her wolf starting after today. 『 Estate #: 1504 Lumiere ┋ Funds: $467.75』 『 Temper┋Stress┋Happiness lvls:✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎』 "My words are useless if they don't deconstruct the limitations that keep the creativity in you from flourishing." -TY HavensOut Of Chamomile:

Her head fell against his shoulder, yawning. She felt a sudden rush of cold, trying to cuddle closer to the sense of heat that was next to her. Grumbling and whimpering, the moment she felt the fuzz of her stuffed owl Ophelia, she gripped it and laid her head on stuffed creature, using it as a body pillow. She just wanted her bed. She wanted lunch and bed. There was nothing else she wanted. She hadn't done a whole lot today, but for some reason she felt like she hadn't slept in days and was constantly on the go. The hum of the car only caused her to go further into unconsciousness. [EXIT]

That's partly the only reason why she came here besides the fact that she was curious about her icy friend's occupation. Immediately, the young woman quickly made her way over to the manga section and grinned brightly. This was her ticket to find more cosplaying ideas! Yes, the poor girl had a problem, but hell, it was better than stealing, vandalizing and assaulting people out of the blue. "Okay, let's see what I can find." With a random manga in hand, she skimmed through the pages looking for an outfit to use for future intentions. ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ┘ ■ Who?: Alone ■ Where?: Bookworm ■ Money: $ 400.00 ■ Outfit: Robin ■ OOC:

He sighed deeply, pushing slowly through the door with eyes watching the bell jingle to announce his arrival. He was just here with his daughter a little over an hour ago, in less than that said hour he went from bonding with her to feeling utterly dejected by the four-year-old. Just like yesterday: he went from being a well known author with a book being filmed into a movie to a guy who learned he had gone five years a father without even knowing it. He needed a break, some distraction from his life right now. He couldn't talk to his best friend, the wolf told him to stay away after he learned the male knew about his illegitimate daughter and didn't tell him. His life was a mess right now, there was nothing he could find to grasp except his job. He wasn't in the mood to sit at his desk in his office where there was nothing but complete silence to fill every other space. However, for his newest draft in progress he needed new reference material, and so this was an option he could occupy himself with for an hour at least. He meandered down the isles across from the nonfiction isle where he needed to be, squeezing around a few people before noticing a stuffed toy that came with the purchase of a book. He picked it up with thoughts of his daughter, but he didn't suspect she read...manga. These types of books didn't fit his fancy either, barely any reading was involved. He grumbled, leaning against the shelf as he flipped through the book. "I just don't get this comic book-thing craze." He turned it to read right to left, the most he knew about these particular books from Japan, and continued looking confused and disgruntled. 『 Estate #: 1504 Lumiere ┋ Funds: $467.75』 『 Temper┋Stress┋Happiness lvls:✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎』 "My words are useless if they don't deconstruct the limitations that keep the creativity in you from flourishing." -TY HavensOut Of Chamomile: nice to meet you, btw.

ƦσƄıɳ ┌ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ "No; this isn't good. This one's no good either..." Book after book and still no ideas! Ugh. Now what'll she do? Sitting on the floor in the manga aisle, Robin rested her chin on her fist that was supported by her knee and grunted. Now what was this feeling again? Mad? Upset...? No... Ah, frustrated! That's it. She felt frustrated and a bit...annoyed. Sometimes she didn't get herself when it came to emotions. Many of which were weird sensations to which she couldn't describe - just like now. Anyways, with no cosplay ideas, she thought that maybe it was time to go help Jeni with those flyers.
Slowly, the young lass hopped onto her feet. "Time to pass out stupid flyers..." The girl mumbled to herself. Upon exiting the aisle, she caught a small glimpse of a male who looked like he just took a feels trip to hell. With a raised brow, Robin just stood there and stared. With a perplexed expression plastered to her face, she studied him and tried to figure out what he was feeling. Yeah, it sounded dumb, but the girl did this on a daily basis. The people she's met in the past were simple enough to feel one emotion at a time, and Jeni...well, she's a special case. All together, Robin gave up trying to figure out what she's feeling.
Now, what was this guy suffering from? He looked like he was feeling all types of emotions: depressed, flustered, discontent, and...maybe a bit helpless? Gah! It was hard to tell. It was like Feels-ception with him. Eventually, with the help of the strange looks she was getting, Robin decided to make her way over and maybe talk to him. It wasn't something that she'd usually do. She would've honestly left Bookworm without saying a word to this guy...buuut since she made Jeni go out and make friends, she figured that she needed to make some too at some point... He sighed and snapped the door shut, leaving it with the teddy bear and picking up a new one. He didn't like this one either, but he pretended to be engulfed in it when he felt a pair of eyes land on him. Was it someone who recognized him? He hoped to have less of those on an island. He couldn't even muster a fake smile to give autographs today, not even close. He spared a brief sideways glance from where he leaned on the shelf, seeing a tan skinned female staring at him inquisitivly. She looked younger than him, although this couldn't be detemined by looks alone. Her face was still slightly rounded from the angle he glimpsed her from, a feature of individuals younger in age; but otherwise her shape made her seem older, in her early twenties maybe. He grumbled under his breath, trying to indulge in his book long enough for her to walk away before things got awkward. Unless she approached him, that was an option too. He almost preferred she did, the ones who stared for long periods of time before walking away were the ones who followed you home and were found standing over you in the middle of the night. He shuttered at the thought, telling himself to quit his own nonsense as he brushed his navy hair from his line of vision. Being a book writer gave him a crazy imagination at times and it wasn't always convenient. As long as she didn't actually stalk him it didn't matter what she did. He sensed when she decided to approach him, his hearing catching the sound of every footfall in his direction. He flipped a page without having looked at it, feeling the characteristic skiddish reaction he always had when someone attempted to approach him. As a teen he would glare, snort, and go back to what he was doing as if to dismiss the person who knowledged him, but he had grown out of that; he had more polite strategies to blow people off now. "Repression leads to aggression" as his therapist grew a habit of saying. He looked up to the girl when she spoke, turning his head to her as he eased his book shut and slipped it back into the shelf. What she actually said surprised him, and where he'd been going to say something, his lips parted a few moments before snapping shut again. "Uh-..." What was he supposed to say to that? 'Thanks for noticing?' He blinked instead, trying to clean his face with the bottom of his shirt. Maybe he should have washed his face before leaving the house. It would be embarrassing if his face was still tear stained, it was already enough that his eyes were red and puffy. He hated being emotional. He pulled his shirt away from his eyes, easing it down and flattening it across his stomach again as he looked away from the girl with a singular grumbled word at her observation. He paused and turned back, eyes slightly narrowed in reservation. "It's nothing." His voice rasped from his nine-year-old vocal cord injury, and the volume he used when speaking dipped lower than it already was by natural standard. 『 Estate #: 1504 Lumiere ┋ Funds: $467.75』 『 Temper┋Stress┋Happiness lvls:✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎』 "My words are useless if they don't deconstruct the limitations that keep the creativity in you from flourishing." -TY HavensOut Of Chamomile: I will go back and spell correct that last post Dx

ƦσƄıɳ ┌ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ Oh schnitzel... Once again Robin sucks at socializing. Ugh. She tilted her head from the man's awkward response to her obviously random and even more awkward confrontation. Now what was she going to do? As he seemed to fixing himself, the girl stood there and pondered on a counter-reply. Socializing was like one giant test. There was always a right response and a wrong response. No in-betweens. No middle ground; nada.
"If Jeni were here what would she want me to do..." The ideas raced in her simplistic mind, but none of them seemed like good ideas. Ask him about his life? No; they're strangers. Give him advice? Hell no, she's horrible at giving advice! Instead she used scrapped those ideas and just went with whatever came to mind.
"U-Uh...Oh! I've always liked books like these... Robin began as she picked up the book that he had put away earlier. "The drawings usually help me point out different emotions...since I kinda suck at things like that..." She quickly skimmed through and kinda had a rather faint disappointed look. The characters were drawn well...but the plot was kinda...lacking an engaging event. Something that made her want to keep reading it. The only reason she read mangas was because that the artwork usually helped her out a lot with pin-pointing specific emotions. Not only that, but they were easier to follow than normal novels. They gave you the big picture while in regular books, Robin had a hard time imagining what was going on. "Anyways, Uh. I'm Robin..."
Her brown eye looked up from the book and glanced up at the male's face to see his expression. With his eyes narrowed like that, she was starting to have second thoughts about approaching him. "s**t...I screwed up..." Immediately, she looked back at the book only to shut it and slip it back to its place on the shelf. ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ┘ ■ Who?: Guy with major feels ■ Where?: Bookworm ■ Money: $ 400.00 ■ Outfit: Robin ■ OOC:

She was on the unorthodox side of things, wasn't she? While she tried to recover from her falter by picking up the book he'd recently disposed of, he stared at the empty book shelf and let his gaze drop lower and remain there. She hadn't really had a reason to approach him except to comment of his crappy appearance at the moment. He didn't consider himself being given a hard time, he could brush it off after his day. His chin tucked inward when he shifted slightly to look at her from his peripheral vision, his hair falling into his farthest most eye. "Tyrese." He grumbled, feeling obligated to return the introduction she offered. "I didn't really like those kinds of books, I can move out of your way if that's what you wanted." He wasn't going to ask about her lack of emotional evaluation as she pointed out, he assumed she only said it because she felt awkward about her approach. And anyway, what business of it was his? He sighed inwardly and leaned off the shelving. "If you want to learn how to recognize emotions, read from psychology textbooks, some of them have pictures too." He shrugged, turning towards her, the direction he needed to go to get to the nonfiction section of the store. 『 Estate #: 1504 Lumiere ┋ Funds: $467.75』 『 Temper┋Stress┋Happiness lvls:✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎』 "My words are useless if they don't deconstruct the limitations that keep the creativity in you from flourishing." -TY HavensOut Of Chamomile: sorry for the short reply
