But at the same time the monsters will come to you when they are backed in a corner. )
Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.
"You know I can take you in for being intoxicated.. even if you are just walking around." Amanda said with a raised brow. "But I'll let it slide tonight. I'm not in the mood for the hassle that comes with the paperwork." She shifted her hands around her pockets as he asked about the two people. She couldn't really go around talking about the details. Already she gave him more information on the last case then she really should have. "Don't worry about them. They are not a danger and it's already been taken care of." Amanda answered with a weary tone. "I really didn't expect to run in to you here. You don't seem the type to hang out in the Vegas district." Her pace is slow and casual as she walked with Frank. She is doing her best to relax and unwind for the evening. "I know that it's not my favorite place to patrol." Both cop and the hunter side of her hated the Vegas district.

Heinrich paused, or rather Frank did. "Oh, I wasn't really aware of that. I thought it was just driving and disorderly conduct. I'm not drunk, I've just had a couple of drinks. Still, if that's the case, maybe I should just go home, don't want to go breaking the law." It seemed mundane wasn't going to get much results this time. That left him little choice, he would have to look into her mind for what was going on. Using his Telepathy he began to try and dig into her thoughts for the information he sought, meaning he had to keep his eyes on her or he would have to try again from the start. "I don't come here often either. But every now and then it's nice to let loose, gambling with your income can be somewhat stressful and it helps to have fun every now and then."

"Well, I don't really have to be anywhere. And I'm sure your job is a bit more stressful than mine. So I don't mind. Though I'm sure it's normal for cops to not know a lot of people, they work a lot after all. Besides, you seem to work nights often, which means you probably sleep during the day like some kind of vampire cop." "Frank" laughed slightly at the joke, but Heinrich laughed inside at referring to a Hunter as a Vampire. The added humor of course being that he was a Vampire. He became quiet when he addressed the murder however. "A murder huh? At least it wasn't successful. I take it the guy got away? That would certainly make for a stressful work day."

Anguis was finally finished doing his rounds and decided to head back to his place. He finished quicker than he expected and now he had all this free time that he could play with. He was excited and didn't know which face he should use now. He wanted to have fun tonight so maybe he should use a more whimsical character. However, with all the recent suspicious activity that had sprung up, perhaps he should just blend in. Ah, decisions, decisions...

She froze when he called her a vampire cop. Her eyes locked into him for a moment then realized he was laughing softly at the joke. Or what he thought to be a joke. She couldn't imagine herself as a vampire. and the thought made her stomach turn, Still he didn't seem to mean any harm by it. After all most people didn't know that vampires where real. So it was normal for them to tell jokes like that. Amanda sighed as he grew quiet about the attempted murder. "Yeah, it dose make for a stressful day. And worse is the fact that I seem to be messing up a lot lately. At this rate I'm going it be in hot water." She looked over at Frank as she started walking once more. "I don't want to loose my job. It's the only life I've ever known." Her eyes slowly turned to the ground. "Besides.. I don't really know how to do anything else." She could feel herself wanting to cry but wouldn't. At least not till she was home and with a beer or two down her. Amanda didn't cry in front of others often.

"I don't think you've been messing up. You seem like a good cop to me, so I would imagine you just got some bad deals. Cases without many witnesses or leads are kinda hard to solve right?" Heinrich was quiet as she confided in him, the irony was palpable to him. A Hunter unknowingly sharing such details with a Vampire. He was accustomed to secrets, but it wasn't often that someone told him such things flat out. Normally he'd find out himself through spying and what not. "I'm sure you won't lose your job. I don't know anything about being a cop, but I feel like they can forgive you in the case of these circumstances. It's not like anyone else could do much better I'm sure." Suddenly a bottle came flying out of nowhere and hit Amanda in her raised arm, causing her to bleed a little. Normally that might have roused the Beast to hunger, but luckily Heinrich had filled up earlier on that girl in the dark booth and so the Beast barely stirred. However, that still left the questions of who, why, and where. Some little creep thought it would be funny to chuck a bottle at two random bystanders began to rouse to Beast not to hunger, but rage. Heinrich kept it in check though, it wasn't as strong as if he had been hit with the bottle. But the audacity of it still ticked him off. "Are you alright?" Two drunken college boys ran off laughing into the crowd. "Yeah, But I need to get cleaned up. Lucky for me I'm a quick healer and in a day or two you won't even know I was hurt." She replied, placing a hand over the cut. She looked over with a smile. Even with the events and the bottle she felt a little better. "Thank you by the way. You don't even really know me and here you are listening to me ramble on." Already the little cut had stopped bleeding. "I'm sure your right.. I just worry to much."

Heinrich glared at the idiots who ran off laughing as the Beast within stirred just a little more. But now was not the time, Frenzies were irrational and irrationality was weakness. If he was going to strive onward in the Great Work he could not be burdened by such things. He turned back to Amanda, keeping up his Frank facade. "It's fine, I don't know many people either. But for now we should focus on taking care of that wound. Small or not it was from some drunken a-hole's booze bottle."

"Lead the way then." Amanda said still holding her arm. "Or maybe going home would be the best." It was a ways home but the wound was fine. Now it was just a matter of getting the blood off. "At least it's never boring with me, right?" She added trying to lighten the mood.

Certain powers can detect and counter this. Video is not affected and will capture the object regardless. Bringing attention to the item will unravel the power. Searching for the exact item can also unveil it. -His very nature as a Vampire is hidden, his aura appearing normal and his Predator's Taint being undetectable. Certain powers can see through this. -Cloak of Shadow, can hide himself from the minds of others, meaning they will not see him, they will hear no sound he makes unintentionally, and they will subconsciously move out of his way. Video cameras are unaffected, but a person viewing through a live feed is. Certain mental powers can detect and penetrate this power. Bringing attention to himself will break the power. -Able to disguise himself as someone else, but can only affect small groups at most. Certain powers can see through the disguise.
-By combining his mental extension and his disguise, he's capable of creating illusions. These are not real, but if a person believes they are they can cause psychic trauma unless the person knows without doubt they are false. It causes much greater drain on his mental reserves and can leave him drained and vulnerable if he isn't careful. Again, certain powers can see through this, or worse.
-Capable of moving far faster than normal, but rapidly drains his blood reserves and so is mostly used in bursts. His movement becomes a blur and most are unable to keep up.
-Coils of the Dragon allows him to use his blood more efficiently, to feed from even beasts, and to gain greater sustenance from feedings. He can better control his beast, and has managed to unlock a Coil to reduce the damage from fire, allowing him to heal far more easily.
-Mind of the Dragon, through constant study and strain, he has gained a perfect memory. In addition in the back of his mind he constantly compares the present to the past to guard against mind and memory tampering. Lastly he's able to set part of his mind side, making using his mental powers much harder, to suck in any kind of tampering.
-Ritualist, Heinrich is a master of rituals. these rituals can have nearly any affect one can think of, however the greater the affect the rarer the reagent must be. In addition to incantations in usually a dead language and magic circles of complex natures that must be exact. Possibly along with certain locations and times or events that it must be done under.

Most hunters are nothing more and mere humans, but a few have an edge to their fight. This edge isn’t supernatural nor can it trump any supernatural ability but it help to give a slight hand up in the fight against the monsters that go bump in the dark.
Be Calm- This ability is just as it sounds. She radiates inner calm inhibiting drastic action and slowing down reaction times, while also stifling anger, relieving fear and lessening senses of urgency.( It can’t brain wash or make a person do something against their will. But it can calm down a group of screaming humans long enough to get business taken care of. )
Insinuate - By treating the supernatural as people, rather than monsters the she can upset and strain their foes, making it harder for the opponents to focus on subsequent attacks.( It’s kinda like having a really good reputation and it makes you less likely of a target. But at the same time the monsters will come to you when they are backed in a corner. )
Potent Blood- there is something about her blood that makes her heal just a little faster than normal. This also means if a vampire feeds off her, they will get more from her blood than other humans. It makes this power a double edge sword.
"It's not deep. In fact it will be gone by morning." she said in a very matter of a fact tone. Amanda didn't even really think about what she was saying. Humans didn't heal that fast, not normally. But what was said was said. She rolled her eyes at herself the looked over to Frank. "Lets go to my place. I have stuff there to treat just about any kind of wound and we can drink all we want with out worried about the cops." She found herself laughing at that stamen since she was a cop. "It's just eh cheep stuff but it dose the trick." She thought about it for a minute and remembered her place looked like a tornado went through. "It's a dump though. I don't clean much."

"Well I live downtown to my car is parked at the other end of the street." She said leading the way. Amanda let out a soft laugh as he spoke about not drinking too much. It was funny how he took her words to heart. Starting to relax a bit she ran a hand through her hair and stopped at the top of her head. She ruffled her hair a bit before dropping her hand again. Heinrich wasn't quite sure why she laughed, but then again he wasn't sure if he was ever that good with people even while alive, and certainly not when that ended. But when she inquired about his home, he had to think of a way to keep the lie going without giving her a strong lead should his cover be exposed. A flat out lie would be a problem if she ever wanted to see his home and he wouldn't be able to keep up good excuses for long. His only option was to lie by telling the truth. Should his identity be revealed she will hopefully assume he lied, but she would likely investigate anyway. In which case he would need either a trap, or move to a secondary location quickly. "What gave you that impression?" "Frank" paused at her assumptions with a slight look of confusion as he got into her car.
