Stage One
Tybalt handed over the paper and eyed the sticker that he had stuck to his arm. He didn't like the feeling it gave him, nor the fact that it took away his abilities. But what bothered him most was learning that they could dissipate during this whole 'trial.'
Really it didn't inspire much confidence in the black dog knowing that bit of information right from the start. Even the trial itself was enough to extinguish any confidence. It was ridiculous! It looked as though a pyromaniac had teamed up with a mad scientist and spewed their talent onto the field and dubbed it a course!
And now they were supposed to cross that..?
Hah!
Though he was tempted to try! Why else would he be here?
"Right.." He grinned nervously to himself and lunged past the starting line and onto the course. Hoping to at least make it a little ways in before biting the dust.
The hurdles were a little intimidating at first. He had to admit, but thankfully proved to be no problem at all as he cleared them with ease and continued on towards the next obstacle.

Stage Two: FAIL
Tybalt was keeping a good pace and was beginning to think things weren't as terrible as he first imagined, that was, up until the hoops came into view. Which he admitted, looked a lot more intimidating than the hurdles...
Slowing his pace, he eyed them with suspicion and though he thought he might just try going around them, one shot from the gnomes made him decide against this thought.
"Oh come on! I've jumped through enough this blasted school's hoops! I don't need to do it literally too!" He snarled, backing up a few feet and did a running start towards them.
Unfortunately, misjudgement in his timing resulted in the inevitable quick roast and dissipation and the later re-spawning in the infirmary.
Ahhh yes... He signed up for that again, why?

Stage One: Pass (Barely)
Ru sighed, looking forward again to the obstacle course and trying to understand why she felt compelled to return. As with prior attempts, she glanced back at the wall of flames.
Her next glance was over towards the gnomes, at their jeering and the shotguns' returning fire at her toes.
Despite the overwhelming odds, and a lack of success thus far past the second stage, she burst forth. Over one hurdle, over the next, singed shoelaces on the third.
But past them all.

Stage 2: MISERABLE FAIL!!!
Having passed the first trial, Ru hurried to the next, wincing at the rings of flames before swallowing her resolve and surging forth. Around the first hoop! OOPS! The course doesn't like cheaters! A sinkhole opened up under Ruchii's feet and she disappeared down a long tunnel to be mended elsewhere from a fall she couldn't really remember taking.

VICTORY!!
BACON BACON BACON CRISP JUICY BACON BURGERS!
He didn't really think about how he was almost fish food. Hellhound fish flakes just didn't sound tasty, so he was at least very grateful that the tatzel pulled him out before it was too late. "Guess we're even eh?" he said sheepishly, embarrassed that he had to mess up on his fairly good run.
But there was a finish line and Nox was there to say congrats and scold him for surviving but not doing a very good job. As much as Demi would have loved to show him how much a size 9 boot up his a** would hurt, rest was a even better option.
It was a few moments before either of them tried to get up, and Levi pulled him onto his feet with the promise of food yet again. "We do need that, I think I'll get all bacon on mine!" he replied back with a little extra pep in his step, his tail swaying back and forth with his new prize from the course.

Stage one
Jericho had returned the next day, ready to try and reclaim his honor. That last attempt was horrendous on his part. But, aside from that, he decided to team up with Riley to see if they could tackle the course together. Maybe they would have a little more luck this way.
"Alright. Ready when you are," he said before letting out a breath. Turning to the Mindflayer, he nodded, then started towards the course.

Stage One: Teamed with Jericho: Fail
Jericho and Riley looked like the most legendary of teams, as they hurtled themselves into the playing field.
And the sight of them crashing into one another, and then the hurtles themselves, was almost as legendary of a failure.
When Riley resurfaced in the infirmary, she opened her eyes and immediately spoke.
We are never doing that again.

Stage One: Pass They had learned their lesson. Riley and Jericho were going to work through the obstacle course separately, and give themselves twice the chance to reach that goal at the end. It was more a matter of principle than anything, at this point.
As before, Riley leapt over the hurtles with angry determination.

Stage Two: Pass She cannon balled her way through the hoops, receiving only the barest of singes on her dress as she passed them. It made her realize that tucking in the length might be a good idea, especially if there was a next time around.
She tied the flow of the skirt up and moved on. She had a good feeling about this, now.

Stage Three: Fail Had she seen Jericho crash into the very first hurtle on his way in? Perhaps. Was this why she allowed herself to be knocked over by a flaming bomb, and laid on the floor in exasperation as it blew her into bits? Absolutely not.
It's a good thing we don't give up easily. She muttered quietly in the infirmary. This place was starting to feel a lot like home.

Stage 1 FAIL The next day came about. The last two days were pretty Jacking pathetic on his part. Something like this course should be a breeze for the dragon. Though... come to think of it, setting up an obstacle course could be beneficial for the fitness club. He'd have to pitch the idea to Riley later.
Seeing his friend start off, he took in a breath and started on ahead.
He barely got a foot in before crashing.

Stage 1: FAIL!!!
Ru sighed, coming up on the area again. Sticker, wall of flames, sniper shot. All the fire was making her twitchy, though. She let her eyes dwindle over the flames... A moment too long. Her form erupted in fire as the wall behind her met with it, and she again evaporated.
Back to the hospital!
... She'd never play with fire again after this...Unless minis were involved...

Stage 1: fail again xD
Danny gripped her form with angry anticipation. She was going to win this time. She would be the very best, like no one ever was. She was putting herself to the test.
SHE WAS GOING THE DISTANCE.
Until she crashed into the hurdles yet again. As she woke up in the infimary, she grimaced. This obstacle course was harder than it looked.

Stage One: Pass
The second Mandy heard about an obstacle course she was there, She could do with the challenge of the physical exertion to help unwind from all the stress of SC elections. That speech was going to kill her, she just knew it.
Listening as everything was explained she hesitated for a second at the mention of a waver before signing it, it was an obstacle course. She was sure it was just them sick of people trying to blame sprained ankles and the such on them.
Likewise whilst disgruntled at the sticker slapped on her jacket repressing her Natural ability she could see the logic, you wanted this thing as fair as possible.
....wait gnome snipers?
Too late to reconsider Mandy found herself suddenly shoved over the start line, stumbling a bit as she lost her balance.
And then everything was on fire.
...This was a bit more intense than she'd been thinking of as a way to relax. Glancing behind her she was retreat was most definatly not an option and grumbling she zipped up her jacket to try and protect as much of her skin from the heat as possible.
A shot exploded beside her, jeers from the shadows following it. Giving the sniper the finger she took off jogging towards the flaming hurdles.
How she got over the things when they practically towered over her was anyones guess but if someone mentioned seeing her crawling under them they better shut the hell up.

Stage Two: Fail
Sweating slightly from the heat of the fire Mandy looked forward to the next obstacle.
You have to be jacking me.
Jacking, flaming, hoops.
Did she look like a jacking circus animal?
No way was she going to jump through those, she didn't care how cheap it was walking around stuff was always a valid opt-
The bullets that hailed around her as she tried to put her plan into option said otherwise.
Swearing loudly she jumped back, groaning as she looked at the hoops in front of her.
Looked like it was time to pull out the acrobatics.
Come on Mandy you can do this. Just think of it as doing some tricky tree jumps. From trees that are on fire.
Oh yeah I can do this.
Snorting she took a running start.
The first hoop was no trouble as she started a forward flip through it, only to have overestimated the space between hoops as she tried to plant her hands and continue flipping through.
With a crash and crack Mandy found herself awakening slightly singed in the infirmary. She wasn't quite sure she wanted to go repeat that quite yet so with a groan she flopped back into the bed to wait for her back to stop hurting quite so much.
