Oh I never had fighting issues but I suppose I never ended up in a big long battle or something.
And I like characters getting hurt...its more real that way...BUT dying is a bit harder. I just joined this roleplay and created a second character KNOWING he was going to die at some point. But I really like him...I didn't try to make him awesome but even his girlfriend likes him he was made so well. What is up with that s**t!? And I created him a lot faster than normal. Maybe in part because he was a brother of one of the characters so I had to kind of make him look the same and all that jazz.
The owner was godmodding...hahahaaa That's when you quit the RP

Oh I know!
I think it is a good idea to create different types of characters...to step out of your comfort zone. It will make you a better writer and can turn out to be more interesting than you might have thought originally.
It may be hard at first...but once you get used to their character and whatnot...it feels like you accomplished something. At least for me...haha
Like the first time I played a silent/cool dude and I had to try to stay IN character without hiding in the corner completely...since he isn't talkative or whatever. But he ended up being the coolest character in the roleplay. Well really it was his and another characters interactions that seemed to run the show...not on purpose...ah it was great...I think it pretty much is dead now though. So sad...I had so many plans with him and the others. hmmm
I should really write down my old characters and my plans and whatnot. I want to keep their stories with me...

Speaking of that... Creating different characters, and what-not... -.- I know this gut that always uses the same name for his characters.... Now don't get me wrong it's a great name, but change it up! DX

Oh yea I know...argh...I can't have them have the same name...it seems wrong someone. Like naming all your kids...Chris, Christy, Christopher and Christina. Or something like that. haha

I know ToT I've had my character with e same name at long term between... But never one right after another. -.- If I do, it's usually in laziness.

I never create identical names though... Not unless I'm restarting that same character, but duh... Then they need their name back xD But this gut always uses the same exact name... I'm like. gonk WTH?!

Wow, were all the characters similar?
I have no problem with using a first name a second time but their full names are always different.
