Arachne continued to stay on the outskirts of the party for now, sipping from a glass of punch she'd poured for herself. She shivered a little, it was warm inside but she was unused to showing off so much skin, and she was feeling quite exposed. Her heels clipped quietly as she walked, and the half skirt swept the floor behind her.
She wanted to approach Elizabeth but she seemed to be in a large group, a few of which were monsters which she still were not comfortable being around.
Again she saw the tall, tentacled female demon, she wasn't sure of her name but she was just as fascinating to Arachne as she had been at the demon only party. She moved close to her; this time she would speak with this ghoul.

It had been rather awkward and quiet between him and Colette as they made their way to the dance, and arriving, he was overwhelmed at how many people were here. It made it nearly impossible to spot anyone he knew at a glance and he was more surprised at the elegance at it all. All the dances he went to were outside, usually around tables with people eating and fires, and people wore their traditional clothes, or simple cotton or leather clothes. Usually, barely nothing at all. It was more laid back and encouraged a sense of free spirit and comfort. Here among a strong sense of elegance and uptight decorum, he felt out of place and unsure of himself. This was his first ever non-kelpie dance, and he swallowed hard as he took a moment to compose himself. What made it worse was that he couldn't hid behind the comfort of his messy hair and ripped-up clothes. Dressed to the T and hair combed and pulled back, he was very uncomfortable and nervous.
The hand set upon Collete's hand that was hooked around his arm squeezed a little tighter, and he gave her a forced smile. "Wh-Well, here we are." He indicated the obvious, and slowly led her down the steps to where everyone else was mingling.

Now Lizzy had Jericho curious at to what she had nicknamed her Youngster Joey. As he waited, he looked around a little more while Lizzy sent out a few texts to someone. It wasn't long until he noticed the short undead girl across the room. Though, it didn't look like she was with anyone yet.
As the demon flagged her down, he waved his hand at her as well to help catch her attention. Amrita was looking pretty as well, and really, it seemed like a lot of people here had taken strides to wear something kind of fancy for this party. It was no wonder that Riley would have ushered him back to his room if he hadn't worn the thing Sarias had set out for him.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted another demon approaching. She was a new face to him, as he didn't really recall seeing her anywhere in particular before. Perhaps this was Tess? Though, it seemed that 'Tess' was lacking her date as well.

wahmbulance Rain stepped out into the middle of the floor, "Sorry to interrupt everyone but the Minipet Dance Floor is open to those of you that want to give your pets a little fun too!" wahmbulance (Sorry for the large font, just didn't want it to get missed!)

Malodore glanced over at the pet section of the room - it had actually come by earlier and dropped Luce off, feeling that just because it potentially wasn't going to the dance, there was no reason why she had to miss out as well. Especially since she had missed her usual morning runs with Riley.
... Dancing, though?
... Could Luce dance better than it?
That was a worrying thought.

Sepheran let out an inward sigh of relief when he saw Tess emerge from the dorms. He smiled as she neared, hearing Liannan describe her he only wished he could see her himself. He would have to thank Lizzy later for giving him such a lovely ghoul to go to the dance with. "Hey Tess! Oh no, we weren't waiting too long," Sepheran replied not wanting the ghoul to feel bad.
When she was close enough he held out the bouquet to her, "These are for you," Sepheran said gently giving her a sweet smile, "I hope you like them..." he added obviously a little bit nervous himself.
Clearing his throat he offered his arm to Maritess, "Well then, how about we go to that dance?" Sepheran asked.

Rain loved the candy she was given by both Kasumi and Shine. Shine's held a closer place to her unbeating heart though. She would never eat it. In fact, she would carry it in her pocket forever and let it decay right along with her.
As the students started to enter, Rain realized an important fact. She had forgotten to dress up. She was in her standard blue hoodie, black pants and even her bandages were a bloody mess. How could she have forgotten to dress up? Sometimes she really wished she had a pulse so that some damn blood could be pumped to her brain. Maybe then she wouldn't be so.. so stupid!
To make matters worse, she was now staring face to face with Nyyrikki, who looked absolutely stunning in his outfit. "You look.. amazing," she mumbled, a faint blush going to her cheeks. It looked peculiar against her blue skin. "I.. oh jack be damned, I forgot to dress up!" This was one of the most embarrassing moments of her unlife.
She had been so busy working on the party!

Sin was pretty peeved about getting to the party late, she flicked her hair back and practically dragged Barth in with her. She had her arm linked through his, after all he was her date. She might not be romantically interested in the Sloth demon but tonight he was hers, and if she was nice maybe they could be friends, or allies. She ran her fingers over the tiny ruffly skirt she was wearing. Her eyes scanned the students and the dance setting, well this was nice.
"Fashionably late enough for you?" She glanced at Barth with a raised brow. Most students were already here, but she didn't seem to have missed out on everything like she had worried she would.
Sin slowly smiled, a mask of civility changing her irritated mood into a more party appropriate one. She relished getting to wear her more scandalous dress with it's broken heart corset and barely there tutu skirt, the pumps really just made her already long bare legs appear miles longer. She had spent most of her life in antique formal wear at her parents parties, this was something her mother would have never let her wear...but mother wasn't here. The fake smile turned into a genuine grin and she flicked her slightly wavy hair over her shoulder then looked at Barth. "Should we claim some seats?" She was sure he would appreciate that.

"I think so," Barth said. He would have been later, but it wasn't like there were other sloth demons enrolled that he had to compete with. Besides, he had been dressed and dragged.
"...Oh yes please," was his grateful response to the offer of a seat. He was already exhausted from the long walk over.
He was wearing a dark, subdued suit. The better to keep the focus off him and onto his date. Which was only polite. ...He couldn't help but give the room a leisurely scan to see if Lilith was there. ...Would she even come? What if she came with someone else? ...Not that he minded, entirely, but what if it was someone he didn't know? What if it was someone he did know?
What if it was that Steve guy.

Riley reached out and linked arms with Junko, claiming the ghoul on one end while Malodore remained on her other. Yes, I think we should go in. She responded to Junko, and with a very pleased expression she led the two inside. She cast one last glance behind her, and let out a sigh of relief. Finally, they were on their way. There was Barth, Sin, Calder, and Colette - and she was sure wherever Barth was, Christof would not be too far behind.
Took you long enough, she sent to Barth in a tease, though she wasn't surprised at his belated arrival. At least he made it before it ended.
With that, she took her two companions inside, zeroing in on a table not too far from the stage. She didn't want to have to walk across the entire party when she headed up to started the contest.
She released the two at her arm, and held out a chair for Junko. She was a gentleman at heart, after all.

A table? Malodore could sit at a table. It was practically an expert at sitting. It pulled out a chair for Riley first, then one for itself, selecting one with a lower back than most so that it wouldn't do either the chair or its own back-blades any damage.
From here, it could also keep an eye on Luce. It spotted her tearing around the pen, making happy play-bows at everything in range, and smiled slightly. "Someone else missed you, by the way," it murmured to Riley. "Someone who was very sad when we did not go on our morning run. Though I wouldn't advise greeting her now. Not in that lovely gown," it added. It could only imagine the havoc Luce's paws and claws (not to mention her fine white fur) could wreak on evening wear!

Not much was said by the Reaper on her way to the dance with Calder. She was very nervous and had only seen the boil around, never really speaking to him before. Colette had no clue how to be a good date or act around the boil she still thought was a "secret admirer". All she hoped to do tonight was whatever he wanted; if she were given the choice, she would probably resort to standing around or visiting anyone she knew as familiar. She had never actually been to a dance with a date before. Most of the time, Colette just sat and watched others.
When Calder's hand on hers squeezed tighter, Colette awkwardly tried to hold his hand, thinking that was what the squeeze meant, and looked through the student body that occupied the dance. She didn't want to let go of his hand and get overwhelmed the surrounding of strangers, and as she looked around for any possibly familiar face, she softly responded to Calder in a way that showed how nervous and lost she felt. "Y-yeah.." was all she could muster out.
Colette kept her grip as her head turned left and right, there were so many people! Giving up, she looked at him hopefully. "What do you want to do?" Her date should know; whatever he said, she would follow. Did we visit people first? Get something to drink? Go and dance? Oh Jack, she hoped there wasn't dancing anytime soon. She had no idea how to dance. If he wanted to, though, well.. damn it, she'd try.

The more she fluttered about, the more a look of concern grew in his eyes. Was she truly all right? It hadn't escaped his notice that she seemed a bit.. out of sorts lately. If by out of sorts meant deep in thought, shaking her head odd at random moments or turning a soft shade of red. He wasn't completely sure what was amiss and though he wanted to ask, he had the feeling it would probably be wiser to wait for her to trust him enough with the knowledge. They're relationship was rather new, least it seemed so to him. But he took her words of being okay... for the moment. Accepting the cup, he sipped from it a bit as he watched her first pick what she wanted to snack on and then as she leaned against him, looking around. He had to admit that there were some he wasn't familiar with. "It can never hurt, right? Best to meet up with everyone we can." He had noticed Lizzy and a few others he was somewhat familiar with. He wondered if Gabrian and his group would be arriving shortly as well. "Barth's here. I don't see Lilith yet..." He hoped she was fitting in well at the school. Sooner or later, he knew he needed to see her again. At least to let her know that he wasn't avoiding her because he hated her. But that was something for later. "Did you have anyone in mind?"

Hand in hand, death grip in nervous death grip, the pair of them walked through groups of mingling people and whispering couples. Calder didn’t see Chrsitof anywhere, and he was feeling a little lost and stressed that he wouldn't find anyone he knew during the entire dance. If so, he would be left trying to make small talk the entire time. That type of concentration solely on him bothered him, and he wanted to deflect it. "If you see anyone you want to talk to, I won't mind if you do. We have all night." He pointed out, breathing deep. He was trying to make sure he didn't move too fast or quickly, but the girl was relatively tall and rather strong by her grip. He doubted he would drag her anywhere without some effort.
Looking about, he spotted the punch bowl, and was glad for at least that minor task. Turning to her, he bite his lower lip. "Would you…like some punch?" He offered, knowing that he wouldn't be gone long, but it would give him a little time to try and keep his heart from trying to crawl up his throat. "I can get you some."

Junko settled naturally as Riley linked arms with her, quite used to doing that with Yaya and resting a hand gently on the arm she was linked with. As they walked in to the part Junko looked around excitedly, seeing who was already around. She waved to anyone who looked her way that she recognized...well...no, she waved to them even if she didn't recognize them. This was exciting! She was very glad she hadn't decided to miss out on this and come by herself! Junko followed obediently alongside Riley as she was led close to the stage, reaching for the chair herself until Riley suddenly pulled it out for her. She blinked, looking very surprised by this. "Thank you, Riley!" She chirped, sitting down in the chair pulled out for her and scooting it in to sit properly at the table. Junko looked Malodore's way as he pulled a chair out for Riley, giggling as she watched them. How cute! She'd never actually seen Riley and Malodore interact in person before! It was one thing to read and giggle at it when reading over groanspring, but it was an entirely different thing to actually experience it.
Junko jumped a little as Rain made an announcement about the minipet dance floor. "How cute!"
Sin arrived next and definitely caught Junko's attention, not only because it was Sin but...whoa...she was dressed...interestingly! Her jaw dropped a bit and her eyes widened. First Riley, now Sin? Now Junko felt very overddressed.
