Duskshade
Though having finally found something exciting on a patrol, Duskshade just flicked her tail in acknowledgement to Starpaw's question.
Firefang
Firefang was excited when Moonblaze asked him to go on patrol. He didn't like staying in the camp for too long but didn't really feel like hunting. The ginger warrior sifted through the forest scents and scented a badger den. "Does anyone else smell badger?" he asked Moonblaze and Sandpelt.
Pebblepath
The spot Pebblepath had chosen to fish was the best spot any cat could ask for. After catching her second fish of a good size, a water vole shot across her path and she caught that as well. Now she looked at her pile and was happy with her third fish, though smaller than the others, and what she already had. Carefully picking it all up, Pebblepath headed back to camp cheerfully, having almost forgotten how she crossed the border between Riverclan and Windclan. The fresh-kill pile looked healthy when she added her kill, so Pebblepath took one of the bigger fish and ate it in peace.

Moonblaze
Moonblaze opened his mouth so that he could taste the air better. There was badger. Hehad been so intent on prey that he hadn't noticed. "Come on. We have to tell Willowstar." he mewed and began to lead them back to camp.

Firefang turned around to follow Moonblaze, but something told him they needed to go to the den. No longer able to ignore the feeling, the warrior spoke up, "Moonblaze, maybe we should check out the badger's den, to see how many warriors we might need to take back." He hoped the deputy would go wth his suggestion. The, on a safe measure he added, "We won't fight a badger if it's around, just get the needed information. I'm sure there will be places to hide." He tried to make his voice confident as well.

Moonblaze thought of this for a moment. "Perhaps your right." he mewed. "Alright let's see if we can pick up the scent." he opened his mouth so that the air could reach the scent glands at the roof of his mouth.

Firefang followed suit and opened his mouth to let the scents flow. He could smell the badger's den, but couldn't figure out where it was.
Duskshade
Duskshade gave a sigh. "We're staying along the border." In a more helpful tone she added, "Just remark the the surrounding trees and try to scent any predators or other cats."

Sandpelt
Sandpelt followed after the others, scenting the badger. She couldn't place where the smell was coming from. She padded toward what she thought was the general direction of the den and fell in a hole. Mewing loudly so the others could find her she looked at her surrondings. She was in the Badger den. And Ravenkit's scent was down here as well. "Ravenkit is in the hole. I think she traveled deeper down" she yoweled, "I'm going to get her! Get more clan members!" she bounded down the hole, determined to get the kit before the badger did.
Ashkit
Ashkit snuck out of the nursery quietly. She hated being stuck in there. She wanted to explore. She padded over to several bushes where she smelled Plaguestar. Making a quick u-turn she bounded away. She didn't want to get caught. There! She saw the camp entrance. Quickly looking right, then left, she sprinted out of camp. Safe! Now I can finally be left alone and get a chance to explore she thought.
Silenstep
Silenstep slightly thwacked Starpaw on the side of the head. "Be a little more respectful to your elders," he mewed sternly. He padded toward the border line and quickly lifted his leg on the border, marking the territory. He scratched at the ground leaving a clear message to stay off.
Riverstar
Riverstar padded back to the medicine cat's den. "Well actually, I could use something for my soreness. I'm getting a little old and it might help me sleep if the pain would leave me alone for a while. Do you have anything that might help me?" she mewed, scuffling her feet.
((I've been gone a while sorry bout that. Were changing the Riverclan color to this because of some complaints that its hard to see. I'll change the rules in a sec, but don't worry about changing your past posts, just correct them to the new color from now on!))

Firefang rushed to where he heard Sandpelt. He was about to go in after her when she told them to get more warriors. Without waiting for Moonblaze, the ginger warrior ran back to camp. "Willowstar, there's a badger den. Ravenkit and Sandpelt are in it," he yowled as soon as he reached the camp.
Moonface
Moonface was surprised Riverstar was admitting her aging. She nodded and went off to the side of her den. She came back in front of theleader with a couple of poppyseeds on a leaf. "Eat these, they should help you sleep as well," she told Riverstar in her soothing voice that she reserved for sick cats.

"Asking your deputy a question like your all high and mighty isn't very smart. Especially when you've only been an apprentice for one day," he mewed crossly. Great, just great he thought, I have an apprentice with attitude He looked at Duskshade "Would you mind if we move on, I want to start battle training with my apprentice. He could use some humbling," he mewed playfully, batting at Starpaw with his tail.
Sandpelt
Sandpelt rushed ahead into the badgers den. She kept her nose above the ground, slicing it open on rocks and dirt as she tried furiously to find Ravenkit.
Riverstar
Riverstar bowed her head in thanks to Moonface and began licking up the poppy seeds. When she had finished, she sat back and began to clean herself, purring contentidly.

With a look of amusment, Duskshade nodded and sped up a bit. She had her own apprentice to get back to as well. The patrol made it to the Thunderclan border without anymore problems.
Moonface
"You should go back to your den. I'll make sure no one disturbs you," Moonface told Riverstar, padding outside of her den.

Frostpaw
Frostpaw noticed the Dawn patrol coming back, she bounded up to Starpaw. She skidded to a stop in front of him. "How did your first patrol go Starpaw?" she asked.
Brightclaw
Brightclaw saw the dawn patrol come in and her apprentice talking to Starpaw. She padded towards Duskshade and mewed "May I please talk to you in private Duskshade?" she flicked her tail at Frostpaw.
Silenstep
Silenstep noticed Frostpaw coming towards his apprentice and grumbled. He'd have to wait a little bit longer to train Starpaw. Noticing the full fresh prey pile, he left the two apprentices to talk and began walking towards it. Picking out a nice sized rabbit he began eagerly chowing down, watching Starpaw.

Duskshade was glad to have no bad reports. Almost as soon as she was in, Brightclaw asked to talk to her. "Sure, Brightclaw," the black cat replied, looking at Frostpaw. Suddenly, she knew what Brightclaw wanted. "I'll tell Willowstar after I give a report about the patrol. It's about Frostpaw's warrior ceremony, right?" Duskshde doublechecked in a quiet tone only Brightclaw would hear.

Brightclaw nodded and began walking towards the warriors den. When they finally reached the den she turned towards Duskshade. "I think that Frostpaw is ready for her ceramony. Your the deputy, maybe you could talk to the Willowstar about it. She did extremely well with hunting today and she's been a apprentice long enough" she meowed proudly.
