Bu examined their little group, the tactician side of him making note of their composition. They had a good mix of talents and abilities - magic casters, warriors, a healer, and he was an AVATAR himself. He couldn't have picked a more diverse group of rag tag adventurers himself. He rubbed one wrapped hand against the opposite forearm, checking on the condition of his arms. Between the herbs and the healing magic his arms had gotten patched up nicely. He adjusted the cloth wraps over his face and pulled the hood tighter around him before looking to the other Kor. Kor were an uncommon race, so he wasn't used to looking over and seeing similar eyes staring back at him. He nodded to Noa, "Magic.. isn't exactly my thing. But if you can track it, that'd be a great start. By all means, lead the way."

Noa shrugged to Lora's question. In all honesty to Noa the soul and magic were one in the same, after all he used souls as magical power so it would be easy enough to track a certain soul by the magical essence left behind. Walking over to the spot where the dragon summon had vanished, Noa looked around, adjusting his eyes to the plain of souls as to find the best one to use in his search. It was a talent, being able to call on soul, and had allowed him for many years to do research in places where others found only dead ends.
Finally Noa settled on a soul he had summoned earlier, it took some time but he had convinced it to give him a glimpse of where to go. This knowledge was not exchanged through words, but he was given a feeling of where to head. Looking around, Noa pointed in a direction. "The magical essence is strongest in this direction. I suppose we could begin our search there."

They had a guide, and they could begin their chase - but their lead was tenuous at best and Bu still had some reservations about them going up against this Shadow Mage. He didn't know the capabilities of his comrades here, nor the full extent of the Mage's ability. He looked at them, "Start tracking him - I'm going to go and try to track down some more information on him in the meantime, try to level the playing field a bit. I'll return if you need me." Farrokh looked over when Noa gave them the right direction.
" Very well then. Let's go. " he said. He was thinking about when they told him they might be able to help him with his power. He imagined what it could be like if he could willingly manipulate and control it, and not have such a huge disadvantage when it wore off. He obviously knew that it was impossible (Or near impossible), so he wasn't expecting it to work anyway. He walked up to Noa and waited for him to lead the way.

Seeing the other Kor run off, leaving the others to fend for themselves, Noa thought over how well they would do if they in fact came across the stranger from before. According to Farrokh, he was strong enough on his own, so there should be no trouble if something attacked. Of course if he went berserk and was as dangerous as he continued to insist then the Avatar running off on his own and leaving Lora and himself on their own was not the best idea. Either way they knew what to do and would continue on without him.
Walking off in the direction the spirit told him, Noa continued to keep an awareness of the spirit world just in case another spirit came by that could give him more useful information. After some though, Noa glanced back over his shoulder. "Would it be wise to run after this foe right after our first encounter? Would it not be a more logical path to perhaps research on who or what he is and an easier way of dealing with him. Although I do not doubt your prowess in battle Farrokh, and I cannot claim your skill Lora, but I tend to avoid conflict if needed until I am sure I stand a better chance of winning then what I was first shown."

"Getting more information sounds like a wise idea. Anyone have any thoughts as to where to start looking?" Lora replied. She really didn't have a clue as to what was going on or way. "Maybe we can get supplies too. I don't know about you all, but I'm not packed for a long trip or a hunt for that matter." She added, patting an almost empty healers kit.

"Supplies can be gathered throughout this forest, we may find herbs you can use and I am sure a town or city will be able to supply us if we do jobs for them." Noa would need to find places where a curse was plaguing its people, it was not much but he could get gold from doing such things and maybe learn how something more on the way.
Looking around, Noa took a mental note of the path where the magic was leading them before crossing his arms over his chest. "Do either one of you know where we may find a village or city?"

Farrokh thought for a moment for a town when he remembered a city he passed by a while back.
" Usank. It is a city within the tops of trees to the west. I believe it is the closest village or city from here. I haven't come across any others before I met you. We can go there if you'd like. I'm sure they have some information and supplies if we needed them. " he said. It was a mildly long ways away, but it was closer than anything else as far as he knew.

The rag-tag group was preparing to leave, but before they could depart from the forest, a voice called out to them, "Farrokh Bulsara!" The voice belonged to a female and came from the trees above them. A dark clad woman was standing atop a tree branch, holding a rope that was tied around said branch. Horns sprouted from her forehead, but most of her other features were concealed, "You are hereby ordered to lay down arms and surrender, for the crime of murder and treason against the Queen!" In her free hand she held a throwing dagger, and she spun it deftly between her fingers, spinning it along her hand. She slid her gaze to the other stragglers, "This man is a criminal and wanted on high crimes. I advise you all to step back from him and allow him to hand himself over freely."

Farrokh looked at the woman blankly.
" The queen is dead, and that was five years ago. The statute of limitations is over. You do not have the jurisdiction to arrest me. Besides, as the law even follows, I should be King now. I killed her and usurped her throne, so it is rightfully mine, but that kingdom means nothing to me now. I left because I have no desire to rule it. If I were to return, however, I could have you executed if I wanted to. Now begone. I have more pressing matters to attend to. A mad man attacked these fine people, so I am helping them find him. " he said with a completely serious tone.
She wasn't the first person to try and arrest him. Three years ago, the statute of limitations expired, so even if he wasn't King, they could not arrest him. One man even tried to arrest him still, but Farrokh killed him after he did not cease to attack. He looked to Lora and Noa.
" Pay no attention to her. Let's get going. I will lead you to Usank. This way. " he said, continuing to walk west.

Noa looked up towards the dark women as she called out for Farrokh to give himself up over a murder which happened around three years ago. Having no knowledge of that day as well as already telling Farrokh he would help him in such cases, Noa was not about to step aside and let a stranger take away one of their better chances at fighting the stranger. Though Farrokh had his own ideas on the matter and stated there were no grounds to arrest him on anymore which made the decision of helping even easier. Once he told them to pay the woman no mind and head out, Noa looked around before following after Farrokh.
Looking to Lora, Noa tilted his head. "I do not need to eat or drink as you two may. So hunger and thirst are merely a past time instead of a necessity. What sort of talent do you have anyways? You seem like a tracker of sorts and have knowledge of the forest, your magic verified that. So how do you think your skills could progress?"

As the strange woman stepped out, Lora frowned. She wondered if another fight might be brewing. She knew nothing about the allegations she had against Farrokh. She also had no reason to turn him over. She looked to Farrokh and nodded when he said to pay the woman no mind. She followed after him as he led the way.
She turned and looked to Noa as he spoke. "I see. I have much yo learn still." She said in reframe to his lack of need for food. "I'm a Druid. Healing and herbs are my main talent. But I can track and know my way around most forests. I'm also very good with a bow." She said, answering his question.
