"Great; I'm starting to get really hungry." Taking the pot off of the stove's eye, Rocher went over to the regfrigerator and collected the meat, glancing at the bowl that held the makings of their dessert. Returning, he placed the meat onto a pan and began to warm it, taking care not to leave it on too long. Finally, he removed the meat from the heat and turned to Bazooka. "Looks like everything is ready; we can just make our own sandwiches."

Bazooka nodded. "Alright!" He then pulled out plates for them a two little bowls to fit the sauce and dunk the sandwiches in. The male then made up his sandwich before sitting down. "This looks and smells great!"

Making his own sandwich, Rocher copied Bazooka and sat down with his own plate and cup of sauce. "Yes it does!" He was about to take a large bite, when his eyes suddenly flew to the small remnants of meat and sauce leftover. "Hey, do you think we ought to make one more sandwich for whoever lives here? Kind of as a thanks for letting us come in and mess up their kitchen? We could leave some dessert for them too."

Bazooka nodded. "That's a great idea. I mean we are eating their food and using their stuff. That would be a nice thing. We should clean up after ourselves as well. Leaving this place clean is a good idea..." he rambled a bit before eating more.

Nodding, Rocher smiled and took a bite of his sandwich. He couldn't remember ever tasting something so wonderful. He supposed that a good part of it was knowing that he had helped make it. He tore off a chunk to dip in the sauce, which made it taste even better. "D'you like your sandwich?"

Bazooka nodded with a mouthful of it. "It ish bery god." He said still with his mouthful. Bazooka did think it tasted better because they worked so hard on it. He knew that the other thing they made would be great too.

Rocher was finding out that this sauce was the best invention ever made for sandwiches. He loved how it soaked into the bread and gave it a whole new flavor. Smiling, he swallowed a bite and looked at Bazooka. "This sauce is amazing; I want to have this stuff EVERY time I have a sandwich!"
((I actually tried my first French Dip sandwich with Au Ju a few days ago; dang that's good stuff! 8D))

((It's funny, but I used to eat them all the time because they were on school lunch when I was a kid. Then I hadn't had one until my pregnant cousin had one at the hospital and got the craving for them. So, we found out how to make them ourselves. I need to do that again. They are good!
Bazooka nodded. "I think you're right. This stuff would be good on all kinda of sandwiches and heck other things too. I like dipping." The other rambled and then dipped more of his food and ate it. He also began to dip his fries in the dip as well.

Nodding and smiling, Rocher resisted the urge to just lap the sauce up like a puppy, settling instead for dipping and holding the bit of sandwich in the sauce until the bread was dripping with the sauce it had soaked. Finishing the rest of his sandwich with relish, he then began to imitate Bazooka and began dipping the fries in his sauce as well. "This stuff might just go with anything.....except ice cream." Finishing the last of his mean, Rocher then went to making an extra sandwich for the owner of the cabin, complete with its own cup of the magical sauce.

Bazooka nodded. "Oh, yeah that might be gross. I wonder if I should try it just to make sure? Nah, I don't think I would want to do that. Should we make a note for them? You know on how to eat it?" Bazooka rambled before finishing his food.

Finishing the sandwich and standing back to admire it, Rocher pondered thoughtfully. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt; after all, he or she may never have had a French Dip sandwich." Opening the drawer and finding a scratch pad and pencil, presumably for jotting down cooking notes, Rocher took the pencil in a paw, and after a few unsuccessful tries at forming letters, settled for an elaborate sketch of the sandwich tilted sideways over the cup of sauce, with a down arrow between them.

Bazooka smiled. "Good. Now is our candy ready?" He looked over to the fridge which the sandwich would need to go in and where the candy was. As full as he was he wanted to try out the candy that they had made first.

"Oh the candy! I had almost forgotten! Yes, it should be done by now." He rushed to the fridge and pulled out the bowl of chilled mix. Setting it down on the counter, he consulted the book. "According to this, all we have to do now is roll the stuff into little balls, roll the balls in grouns almonds, and eat 'em." He grinned at Bazooka. "That should be quick and easy, and we can leave a tray of them in the fridge for the owner!"

Bazooka smiled and nodded. 'Okay, that does sound good. I bet they taste great too and it would be a great idea to leave some for them!" He went over to the fridge and pulled them out. He was ready to start.

"Right then." Rocher pulled out a pair of sparkling clean cookie sheets and set them down on the counter. "Hopefully we'll have enough to split three ways; we can put our two shares on one sheet, and the owner's share on the other." He produced the ground almonds and scattered them onto a plate before giving his paws a quick rinse in the sink. He reached into the bowl and scooped out a pawful of the mixture. "Ooh, it's cold!" XD
