SpaceTerminal Destiny @DOg: That sounds like an interesting book. It is, actually. I checked it out for the amusement factor but it is actually quite fascinating. According to the author, the chambers and passageways inside the pyramids don't serve as tombs for pharaohs, but as a giant chronometer aligned with the stars, mapping the course of humanity's descent into depravity and the potential for the species' higher consciousness to prevail. EDIT: LOL. I finished the book and the conclusion was that the being(s) who had originally built the Great Pyramid is the Great Orion Nebula. Yep. The star-birthing dust cloud is intelligent! And humanity is destined to travel all the way out there and mind-meld with it.

SpaceTerminal Destiny LadyBanhammer I really don't want to go home for Christmas... or visit my cousins either... >.< I'm home already from university and already my mom has complained I sleep for too long. xD I wish that was the only thing I had to deal with when I was home. >.<

My mum has a fit whenever I make it, because she hates the smell, and she works from home so she's home ALL THE TIME. So I've been drinking water and soda mostly. sad

Snow, snow everywhere! And it's actually sticking! Yes, icy roads and shoveling driveways are a bit of a pain, but still!
SNOW! mrgreen

I am glad you have snow. As for our storm, it was only a little thunder... but it is still going, high winds, plenty of rain to work on the drought we had, and the ocean rose up and ate part of our boardwalk. surprised All things considered, a great storm. 3nodding

Technically, if it isn't grape, it isn't wine, but that's hardly the point. ninja How did the strawberry turn out? surprised

There's nothing like an Oklahoma thunderstorm when it's passing right over you. You can feel the thunder reverbrating in your bones. biggrin heart

Indeed. I remember the rattling of my home rocking me to sleep as a child. Not surprising, as I was born during a Thunderstorm, intermittent power outages at the hospital and everything. I've always found storms soothing. 3nodding I especially love the green the sky sometimes turns before a storm, and the feeling, the energy in the air...

We've had a little bit of snow, but it always melts by afternoon. And we're supposed to get hit with an ice storm sometime in the next few days, but no snow. emo

I'm a tea freak, (yet to have made anything other than black tea, and haven't had anything else tea wise unless it came from a bottle labeled "Nestea" or "Brisk"), but we're kinda low on cash too. So nothing with any real flavor in quite a while.
