Kesshin asked, he had never heard of him but he was the person Kesshin was looking for he supposed which made this another bind for him. Kesshin sighed bringing his right hand to the right side of his temples, "I don't think I could just sit, wait, and hope he escapes." Kesshin said with an agitated tone, he was beginning to think these people were more trouble than they were worth but... "You guys really know how to keep things interesting. So I guess we know what I'm going to do." Kesshin said fastening the strap he had on Ethereal. If it wasn't obvious he was going to find this Cloud character wherever he was, even if he was in the hands of Sephiroth, "The darkest area of the planet, the Norther Crater you say?" Kesshin asked for verification he had a some reservations about fighting Rydia but he would have none about fighting Sephiroth or Cloud if it came down to it, what with Kesshin hearing both being exceptional fighters he felt rather excited on the inside. he began to walk until he realized he didn't know where he was going, Kesshin stopped and turned to Rydia and Azura, "After you two lovely ladies." Kesshin said gesturing for them to take the lead as if being gracious when he just doesn't know where he is going. You keep going... Thats what she'd say... Rydia half smiled, for some reason the irritation in poor Kesshin's eyes amused her a little. "That's good! You obviously know how to fight, and in such a place...the more skilled in battle the safer we will be together when we get there. " "I was able to contact Cid earlier for a little help, though he can't make it, he said he would send someone with the Highwind. We can use it to go to the crater, though I think we could find a few more who want to go on this rescue mission. Just three of us is still risking to much. " Azura said to them as they walked, though when Kesshin ended up walking a little ahead of them in all his eagerness to get out of the city, and to Balamb, still not knowing the area well ended in him looking lost once more, both ladies gave him a playful amused look, giggling as they nodded and began to lead again. "I think we might need to stick close to you for a while, you get lost easy, don't you? " Rydia teased. "Does this mean your stuck with us for a while longer then you hoped?" She smiled, a little playful teasing never hurt. At times like this, a little humor was a good thing to keep minds positive, even if it seemed almost impossible sometimes.
The city gates would eventually come to the groups vision after a short time of walking, and while there were no guards currently guarding it due to the troubles in the city, it was still open, allowing anyone inside or out.

"Talking" & 'Thinking' Rydia and Azura took the lead as they had their little laugh at Kesshin who proceeded to avert his eyes away from them as his face got a little flushed in embarrassment but was to proud to try and let it show. Rydia spoke as if there would be a guaranteed conflict which Kesshin didn't mind, it actually made him want to go even more, he was fine with anything as long as he didn't have to wait any longer. Azura suggested they take the Highwind, Kesshin assumed it was a vehicle of some sort maybe a ship or something, she also suggested that they wait for back up, or at least that was what he was assuming, which could only mean more waiting, "More walking and waiting eh?" Kesshin asked suppressing his impatience. Rydia asked if this happened to him often, "No, only when I don't know where I'm going... As I told you it has been quite some time since I have been around here and with all these changes I have no recollection of where anything is anymore." Kesshin said, confident that his answer was an acceptable one. If he didn't know better he would think that she has been teasing him this whole time, "Yes, extremely longer than I would have hoped, though I am still here for you and that other man Cloud." Kesshin said sternly, he had an objective that he would see not lose sight of. Kesshin paused for a moment, "But I supposed it has been bad being around you... for the most part." Kesshin admitted with a slight easily missed grin; he was letting up his wall a bit more but he knew not to get to close, it always had to be him and him alone, for his sake.
They arrived at the gates of Midgar unguarded, Kesshin was reminded of how his own city fell the exact same way with an unguarded gate, the memory flashed in his head and for a moment he stopped, he rose his right hand over his face and continued to walk, 'This place will be fine, this is Shinra central after all.' Kesshin thought to himself. Kesshin figured they were going to the Highwind or maybe Balamb Garden because thats where it was but the initial destination, the Northern Crater was where he wanted to head to immediately, 'I guess if it'll get us there faster I'll go with them on the Highwind...' Kesshin thought to himself though his body had already confirmed that was the action he was taking and continued to follow Rydia and Azura. You keep going... Thats what she'd say... Thats what they'd do...XxXxX ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

In a kneeling position, the angel of Serenity sat. Though she was hardly praying, struck by the shock of the ruins before her, she could hardly think much less do anything else as she continued to sit there in eerie silence. Every so often, cracks and popping sounds could be heard as debris fell in random area's of the massive site of destruction."How could anyone do this? " She began to say softly to herself, there was not a soul around that she knew. Though she wasn't exactly paying much attention to anything but the site before her. "I should never of left.....! " There wasn't a thing she could do, even if she tried to send a massive heal through out the area had anyone been in that debris, they would only be crushed alive again. Her power was drained, by an unknown source, she still didn't know how she got from Cerberus to here! Just as Hikari. "Did they get out in time? What happened here???" Questions, so many questions that would likely go unanswered...

So much work, so much endless, painful work. Her body wasn't made for such strain, after nearly half an hour of removing rubble and large stone chunks, Terra was beginning to be overcome by dizziness. It was about time she stopped, wasn't it? That and destroying her outfit, mainly her sheer stockings were being ripped by rubbing against sharp objects. She had a few cuts and scrapes by now, this was not a womans job! Still, who else would help clear some of this? It was dangerous, children were caught playing in it, and some even trying to steal valuables. Though those were mostly adults. Still, she didn't want to see anyone getting hurt or worse, and no one else was here to help her or seemed to care about the fact that their home was destroyed.
Terra moved over to a sturdy piece of stone, and cautiously rested against it. "This is to much...What is wrong with this city? Does no one care? " She expected a clean up crew, machines, something to help clean it up. This world was so advanced, why no one wanted to help was beyond her.
Maybe because, they were all worried about the real threat to the world. The threat Terra was trying to forget about. This was in a way, a distraction.

"I am a God!"
"Oh top of old smokey, all covered in blood ..." The singing voice was high pitched and incredibly off key. As insanely powerful as Kefka was, he could not sing to save his life. And yet, he continued. "I shot my poor teacher, with a magitek slug." From the eerie voice there came a man. That man being none other than the god of magic himself.
In his typical, I am all thou art, he appeared hovering above Terra with his arms crossed and a smug look on his face. He stayed motionless for a few moments to allow his presence to sink in. He didn't want to startle the girl. Much.
When he was satisfied that he had made himself known, he floated down to land next to her. Taller than she, he looked down on her and just stood there. His eyes, as maniacal as they were, hid no truths that could not be seen by anyone who looked. His piercing gaze would seem to bore through her soul. He was trying to read her. To see if he could glean any information before he started talking. And, until she made it painfully clear that she was uncomfortable, or she began to speak, he would not say a word.
"I am all-powerful!!"

The exhausted half-esper stood there, she didn't seem to react, if at all to the twisted soul before her. Was she uncomfortable? Her eyes said nothing, there was no emotion to her but exhaustion. Maybe she was hallucinating Kefka, but in a way she knew she wasn't. He was just here to get under her skin again, like earlier. After all he had done recently, one might think she would jump at the chance to attack, but in her current state, she was no match for him. It would only be suicide if she decided to attack. So, so long as he didn't make any move toward her to fight, or anything that might make her have to make a move to defend herself, she wouldn't attack.
Looking painfully into those cold eyes, as if it were such a horrible thing to be looking into the mans eyes, Terra eventually began to speak. Her voice low, emotionless. " What do you want this time, Kefka. " It wasn't so much of a question then it was a demand.

"I am a God!"
He continued to look through her eyes into her soul. She would give him what he wanted. But now it would be with words. He leaned closer to her and in a bare whisper he said, "Can you feel it? Something stirs. It already has it's feelers out there. You ..." He stood straight and then grinned. "Do you know why I was in that freezing hell hole when we met."
Of course she didn't. He was there seeking power. He didn't need any more power. He was a god. But he was a vain son of a b***h if there ever was one. So while he knew he was insanely powerful, he also wanted more of that insane power for himself. Who wouldn't?
"I want to see this thing in action. I want to see it rip this world apart. And then, I will make it mine. If I cannot, I will destroy it just as I did the gods of our own world. I will destroy everything. That, you, nor anyone else can stop. It will happen. You call my threats hallow. I know this. And, for the time being they may be just that. But yo also know that, more than anything, I love to kill. I love to maim. And, I love to destroy. That will never change. And as long as I am alive, such will always be a viable threat."
He started to walk around and look over the destruction of what was once a mansion. The same mansion he had see from the outside when he first assaulted Terra and her little band of new returners. "This. It looks good. The work of an architect. But I think this thing will make such work look weak and pathetic. So!" He turned to face her. "You and I both know there is no being alive who can come close to my power. Except for you. And, even with that said, at a time like this you cannot do anything to hurt me. You are too weak. But, this thing, this beast that was hiding in the northern cave, it will stress the limits of this world to heights it has most likely never seen."
He took a step closer and, for once, looked concerned. Almost worried. "I cannot allow that thing to destroy this world. Why? Because that is my legacy. However, when the time comes to destroy that beast, I will take it down with extreme prejudice. I will destroy anything, and anyone in my way. It would be easier for you, and everyone involved, if we were working together to that end. Because, I don't know about you, but I doubt any of your little friends want to die trying to fight a two front battle when it is unnecessary."
He smiled his signature wicked smile and looked at Terra with that sadistic gleam in his eye. Cocking his head to the right, he threw his arms out and took another step forward. "What'da'ya'say Babes?! Hug and make up?"

"I am sure everyone on the planet felt it. It means nothing to me. Whatever this beast is, and when it decides to show itself, it won't win. It will be defeated just as a certain 'god' was. " Yes, she was speaking of him, the look she gave him was clear enough to say so. "You may of come back by your own luck as a curse to us, but that does not mean we won't win this one. You have always thought yourself higher then everyone. You think no one can defeat you. You are wrong. And even after this is dealt with, after the creature is gone from this world, I will return my focus to you,Kefka. And once again, I will show you how powerful I can be. Then we will see who's smiling in the end. "
Terra watched his every move, the concerned, worried look in his eyes didn't seem to fool her, she had seen this one to many times. They were never true. "Kefka. I think you are smarter then this. You talk as though you could beat this Beast with little effort. That isn't true. What I understand, our powers will be taken away the moment we begin the fight. That means, your power will also be haltered. You will no longer be the God you think you are. You will just be useless. "
Raising her hand, Terra placed the tips of her fingers to Kefka's chest, and...simply shoved him away. " No. It was painful enough having to shove you away. " Oh, so cold! Terra didn't seem to enjoy touching him, did she?

"I think what my mother is trying to say is, Anyone of us would rather die then fight at your side. " A unknown voice to both Terra and Kefka would speak, and when they turned their attention to that voice, they would see a rather...uniquely dressed young woman, she appeared to be in her early twenties, as strange as that was considering Terra's own age. This girl was from the future, but still, it wouldn't keep from being awkward around her younger mother of this time. She wore light purple mesh over her entire body, with golden stars printed through the mesh. Her clothing consisted of what might look to be some strange Halloween costume at best. She wore a matching purple and golden trimmed spike-formed cape, and a black bikini-like top and skirt. It may not look like much, but she was actually well covered. Atop her long mint-green hair was a black pointed witch-hat, or what she liked to call it, a dark mage hat.
"The fact that you believe YOU would be the one to destroy the world tells me just how stupid you are. Maybe we should just kill you with the beast all in one go? I like the sound of that."
Beside her was another girl, though this one much younger, she didn't even look to be older then ten, dressed in a similar style of her older sister, with less of a ....mature look to her. Better covered with a orange -star themed draping top and dark purple frilly shorts, she wore orange and dark purple stockings. Her hair was quite long for her young age, and at the same color as her sister and mothers. For now, she stayed there silently, letting her sister do the talking, even if her chosen words weren't quite so kind..

"I am a God!"
For a brief minute, Kefka took in the scene around him. Terra was there in front of him. And then her daughters were there, from an alternate future? And then he smiled in a giddy kind of school girl way. "Oh my ME! Look at how cute they are!" He ran up to the little one and grabbed her in a bear hug. He jumped up and down and almost giggled before setting her back down.
He moved back to where he was standing and then put his finger on his chin, tapping it lightly as if he were thinking. He started to pace a bit and a slight sigh escaped his closed lips that came out as more of a mumbled hum. Then he stopped.
He stuck his finger in the air and excitedly exclaimed, "EUREKA!" And then he went back to pacing. And he did this for some time. His mind racing with trains of thought that were going in a hundred million different directions. Come of them crashing, some speeding away to dark recess of his mind. Others just wandering off track. But they all had one thing in common.
Terra ...
He stopped and Looked at Terra dead in the eye. He moved closer and whispered to her just loud enough for the others to hear. "Terra. Terra dearest. Let's work something out so I don't have to kill any of your offspring before you really get a chance to know them, Hmm?" He said the last bit while looking down at her abdomen and pointing to where her womb would be. "It would be dreadfully dreadful if one of them, or even both, were to perish. And so close to the death of your own father."
If there was ever an evil grin, it was now on the face of Kefka. He winked at her and crept an inch closer. "Dear old Daddy was never around when you needed him, was he? A shame he had to die by the hands of his own daughter." At that point, the signature Kefka laugh was bellowed forth and echoed through the empty waste of all that was left of the Mansion.

Terra was still trying to find words to put together at the sudden shock of the appearance of the two girls, apparent daughters of hers of the future. She only knew of Tina for so long, her most rebellious daughter she barely ever seen. But now, there were..two more. Two who looked to have taken more after her.Her eyes fell upon the younger one, as she began to take hurried steps toward her when Kefka suddenly decided to have one of his insane, yet frightful moments. Frightful to Terra's eyes, anyway. Before she or Celestia could stop him, he had ran up to the little one and grabbed her into a overly-tight hug. What a display that was...Poor Maya, she would forever be tainted by those sickening hands, and probably a little freaked out for several hours later.
Celestia and Terra could relax a little though, as he set Maya back down, and walked away to his previous spot he was standing moments ago.
As soon as Kefka was away, the older sister moved herself in front of Maya, to be sure the foul creature didn't touch her again.
At first, Terra took a step back. If she could avoid being so close to him, she would. However, there wasn't much to move to, she was basically blocked by the rubble around them, which slowed her movement. But those barely whispered words sunk into her brain, and now, she knew he was back to his heartless, twisted self. Not that he had ever really ever gotten out of it, she just wasn't completely taking him seriously earlier. "....What do you want...You heartless beast?! " Was he so darn serious to 'work with everyone' he would resort to these threats?
"Be quiet! That wasn't real! It was just an illusion, something you created! It was not my father! " He just had to play that card as well, didn't he. "My father.....My real father, he would have been there for me. I believe that more then anything. Nothing you can say will never change my mind about my parents! Stop with these games, Kefka....I already told you before. No matter what, we will win this war, and when it is over, I will personally seek you out. I will put you through the pain and stress you put me through all these years. You will regret it..And even more so if you ever dare to threaten my children again. "

"I am a God!"
As soon as she finished threatening him, there was a large pulse of force. It was centered on Kefka and, while it wasn't anything overly powerful, it sent small bits of rubble flying. The girls, all of them, would certainly feel it as the shock wave washed over them almost instantly after it was created.
As for Kefka, he was unaltered, physically. But if Terra wasn't as tired as she seemed, or if the girls were not as weak as they seemed, they would notice that his power had risen dramatically. Yes. Kefka had the power of the gods at his fingertips and even now he was adapting to it. Able to control the subtleties that allowed him to alter the intricacies of certain aspects without having to resort to sprouting his black, angelic wings.
His voice, now no longer flirting with sadistic glee, was most likely more serious than Terra had ever heard before. And when he spoke, it was with a regalness that could humble kings. There was an audible power to his words. A truth to the testament that was Kefka.
"Do not dare threaten me, little one. Here, now, even if it is three on one, there is naught you can do to stop me if I truly wanted you dead. Remember that. Remember the one time I could have, and I didn't. But know this, when all of this with the beast is said and done, regardless of where we stand while that thing is being dealt with, you had best take all that you find precious, and hold it close." He leaned in closer to her so that, now, only she could hear him.
"Where you may pose as a slight annoyance to me, there is nothing else in this world that even comes close." He turned his head to the two girls and gave them a stern stare before looking back at Terra. "Everything. Just like your father. Just like your mother. I will hunt down everything, everyone that you hold dear. I will destroy them. I will devour your sanity. I will ..." And now he moved so close that the hot breath was bouncing off of her soft cheek. "Hurt you. I will take it all. I will destroy it all. And when I am done with you, there will be nothing left but a mindless shell. Mad from grief. So do us both a favor and make sure you stay out of my way while we do all we can to preserve this world for the future. For MY future."
He didn't move. He stayed right there, his face less than inch from her own. "As much as I despise you, and make no mistake that such a feeling is rooted deeply within my ever-black soul, I realize the need for a truce while greater threats are managed. Do not be the fool who cannot see that. Because, in the end ..." He stood up straight and turned his head towards the girls. This time he spoke very clearly. "It will cost you greatly, Terra."

Terra could feel her confidence fade the moment rage filled Kefka's eyes, it wasn't something anyone wanted to see. Those who did, never lived to see another day come. As the shock wave came, Terra, as well as the girls, lifted their hands to shield their eyes from the bits of rubble.
There was no hiding the fact that Terra was now terrified, and even more worried.Had she just doomed her future, just by opening her mouth and standing up to Kefka with simple words? She was...So tired of his constant stalking, his various attempts to destroy her mind, even his presence was slowly driving her mad. Those words earlier said just came out in her own bottled up anger. And now it had back fired into the worst possible scenario. Her threat and bounced back at her, in the form of a returned threat against her family and friends...
Immediately Terra had regretted her words. "...... "
"....Please....Don't..." She found herself saying what she never thought she would. "Don't do this.....I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! Don't threaten them..." He would see tears forming in her eyes, no matter how hard she frighted to keep them from falling. "What do you want from me? I'll do anything, just don't hurt my family..Leave my children, Cloud, everyone out of it.If you despise me so much, take it out on me! " It seemed, no matter how she tried to be happy, to be a normal young woman, Kefka was always there to make sure happiness was not in her life. He would destroy her mind, as he seemed to be successfully doing already. How much more could she handle?
"Mother! Do NOT listen to him! Don't you listen to his lies! He is only trying to break you...You know he can't hurt us, he will never succeed...Kefka is all talk, using his power to scare you and getting what he wants! " Celestia yelled out, completely ignoring the fact of Kefka's presence. If she didn't snap her out of her growing fear, who would?
"Leave.....Please..Just get away! " Terra yelled back to her daughter, for fear she would only draw attention to herself next. Both of them were in danger so long as they were near her, as she seen it. While most would want to protect and hold their children close, it felt the closer she got, the more danger they were put into. That also meant Cloud.....What was she suposed to do?! Avoid everyone? Run away and hope Kefka would choose to leave them so long as she stayed away?
