A flickering picture of the man who introduced himself to her as Franz flickered on a nearby wall as a foreign text move under it."I'm a little busy, little girl." the captain sighed, his uniform was decorated with several medals on his chest.

Raal went back to the dojo and got dressed in a black kimono to deliver his worst fears.

"Girl." the commander told her "I'll tend to you later, but right now I have more pressing matters to attend to." he said sternly looking at the picture of Franz.

Raal knocked on the door.

"Franz?" he asked and looked at the man "Walk with me, we'll discuss these things further." he told Saska and started walking "First of all, the man you call Franz is a traitor known as Kefka." he told her.

"I an truly sorry." Raal told Fiora while looking down.

Lemenal came to the door "What's going on?" he asked.

"He created a generator that compressed time in a certain area, effectively sending that area to all points in time and when you activated it again, it undid compression and you were sent to this time." he told her "sadly the generator was fried and Kefka was the only one who knew how it worked." he sighed "I suspect your presence in this time period at this point in your life is necessary for the events that make this world what it is."

"We were training," Raal said "I took her to an area where she shouldn't have encountered anything that she couldn't handle." he told Fiora "There seemed to have been a factor I hadn't known about and midway through her exercise, we were cut off by a barrier impervious to my attacks, and I did try." he averted his gaze "I chased a strange man I saw come out of the doorway shortly before it shut, but he had discarded his clothing for the clothes of a man he killed in the forest while I was looking for him, when I got back to the site, the door had vanished and it looked like nothing was ever there." he told Fiora.

Lemenal just collapsed in a seat and was in shock.

The commander looked at her "There is a way to send you back, it just might take a year or two." he told her "If you'll give me your name, I'll set up living accommodations for you." he told her. "I'll get mages to start working on the seal." he told her and pulled out a small device and pressed several buttons that were displayed on the screen.

Raal turned and walked away from the house, he went to the Dojo and sat on his futon.

Lemenal got up and hugged Fiora before going to talk to Taro.

The captain stopped dead in his tracks "You wouldn't have had a brother named Taro Hurakas, would you?" he asked her like he was meeting someone important.

Lemenal bottled it up like he bottled up most his rage and sadness since he married Fiora, while Taro was just writing little notes to Saska on little pieces of paper.

"He was actually the founder of the Archadian empire." the commander told Saska "I'll petition the court mage to work on the seal to send you back." he told her "My name is Karai hadeus Shinu." he told her.

"The history books mentioned he had a sister named Saska at one point." Karai told her, he looked at Saska "While the seal is being made, would you like to train with us, it will give you something to do."

Taro nodded "I know." he said plainly, letting his grief out through the letters.
