Luck is non-existent. Of course, I say that with the fullest belief that I just must have the crappiest luck in the world. It's a pessimistic attitude that serves me well.
I still don't believe in luck. (which is why, in any game that utilizes the "stat", it's always set to 1. )

Okay, gents. I have a question that's been bothering me for a long time now. I've been noticing a lot of incredibly powerful fruits come into use. Now I know, some fruits have been banned, but what should one do to combat the existing ones? It appears to me that we are making it like one needs a devil's fruit to be even remotely powerful or to even combat them to a point. I do believe a counter measure is in order, even if it is minor.
Please excuse this if it sounds a lot like complaining, but I'm just concerned about complete annihilation of the fruitless people.

*finally calm*
I believe in luck to a certain degree. Mostly, though, I believe in karma. But then, I like to make my own karma (ie, someone trips me, I accidentally drop a 3000lbs text book on the crown of their head. "Woops~").

Please excuse this if it sounds a lot like complaining, but I'm just concerned about complete annihilation of the fruitless people. Well I agree with this in a disagreeing sense. Every fruit out there (except for some Logia) has it's own weakness, and it's over powered against something. Take Soren's Shields for instance, he's over powered as hell in a one on one fight (depending on the opponent). Against two people however (just surround him) and he's left on even ground, he requires eye contact with his shields to keep them formed, so attacks from behind and front at the same time = a screwed Soren. Then there's Nate's logia fruit, air's weakness = fire, so something as simply as s torch would leave him utterly powerless (fire 'eats' air, so if he tried to turn into air around it, he'd be killed in an instant if there was any kind of fire around him). Tho aside from the fire this fruit is pretty over powered. Dante's death death fruit: again this is an over powered one on one fruit, but he has fairly low speed, and most people only make eye contact during a fight when they make that speech at the start to "stare down" their opponent. Aside from this simply charging him with a piece of sea prism stone (well... using a little strategy of course, rushing him head on would = death in an instant simply because you're running right into his grip) and he's screwed. Luffy's gum gum fruit, he's over powered against any form of electricity, simply because he's rubber, hence no effect what so ever. Meaning that lightning logia fruit (don't know the name) = utterly useless. It's really just a matter of rock paper scissors, tho some fruits could use some more rules I'll admit.

It may be that way, but Zolo (unfortunately that IS how it's spelled) and Sanji have been defeating people with their own, non powered abilities. Yes, I have considered a two on one fight against Soren, but since when have any epic battles in one piece been a two on one? Goro Goro no mi is Enel's fruit. I'm just trying to find a way to make a place for the non fruit people, mainly because not every strong person has a fruit. For example, Vice Admiral Garp, and Gol D. Roger. I believe we need to allow something for the non powered people to have some kind of a thing that will allow a more fair playing ground. But then again, this is coming from a person who doesn't believe a fruit makes one strong, so yeah.

But then again, this is coming from a person who doesn't believe a fruit makes one strong, so yeah. Well I figured this would be obvious, let's take Soren's kicks for example, if he were to go up against Sanji, he would get his a** kicked in that sense, Devil fruit users need to take the time to learn their devil fruit abilities, and if they try to learn a fighting technique, then they need to learn that as well. Meaning they'd only be about average (depending on rank I suppose) with an ability, people who don't use devil fruits such as Zolo, (and yes I know his name is spelt that way) have mastered 3 style sword (still don't know the japanses name, don't tell me what it is cause I won't remember either way), lets say someone who uses a fruit claims they've mastered it, well that profile should 1: be denied, simply because they can have one or the other, that's how it works. You can balance a char out, but typically balanced chars = weak as hell. Typically it goes you can have 1 mastered, with one minor, tho high ranks (lets say a Captains rank) would = 1 mastered, and 1 medium (Medium only being the mid level of a skill) Age plays a hefty part in char skill and such. saying your char is 16, a logia devil fruit user, and a master of every weapon is total bs... (not that there are any like that, that was just an example). Devil fruits in a general sense don't make the human body stronger, they can simply alter it to some kind of hybrid (zoan) which would no longer make it human (giving it the human and animal weakness).

Age may play a hefty role, but I do believe one is missing something there. If we recall Luffy, who is merely 17 years old, has beaten two shichibukai, secret government agents and has defeated countless other enemies, wouldn't one say he himself is bs? He has only had his fruit for ten years. Going off of that, Kaku had his devil's fruit for what, an hour or so and his strength was multiplied to the point of being able to fight Zolo. I don't believe age really matters sometimes.
In order for us all to have these 1 mastered and 1 medium you say, we would be required to basically belong in the Grand Line. I think that characters should progress in their strengths, not just magically show up in some sea like south blue with god like abilities.

Well technically seeing, are the devil fruits not powerfuller then the normal people. Why you ask? Because I always equalise myself to me opponent. He/She hurts me once in a while and I hurt her once in a while. The one that wins depends on how you rp ofcourse. So what I'm accually doing is weakening my own devil fruit so that the other one (without devil fruit) doesn't think he or she doesn't stand a change against me...
