lol. I had Inuyasha on my mind when I said the thing about giant bird people. ...Though the bird people in Inuyasha are ugly...

Well, I'm hoping to get the last two seasons on DVD, and then I'll have almost the whole series. All I'd need is the Final Act, which they are working on now. :3

Well it could just be kind of a seperate kind of thing, not really related much to the actual anime. Kind of like the same thing with a different team, you know going out to fight demons and what not.

Oh! Furthr detailed idea, perhaps it is much later. Maybe during World War II and there is some evil demonic plot going on in Europe? (See Hellboy, Captain America, etc. lol.)

NO! We go with original bending powers! >: ( Besides, you could use blood-bending rather than shadow-bending. It's almost the same.
As such, blood-bending is related to water-bending (obviously), but Katara was the only one I think who knew about it. ...I wish she taught Korra that! ;-;

But shadow bending makes more sense than time bending. confused It's more of a modified version of air, kind of. Its there, you can see it and its effects, but you cannot actually touch a physical entity.
Chrono Crusade is an anime with an order created to protect the world from demons and whatnot from attacking the humans. In the anime, it follows a girl and her demon companion, who is the only good one, in trying to stop a particular devil from destroying the world...and heaven I think? neutral

Well, that DOES make sense, and we could use an alternative kinda of bending for air. Kinda like how there are lava benders, blood benders, swamp benders...But what combination would there be for shadow?
