Okay, so originally Mecha Shiva came from an episode of the Venture Bros., "The Trial of the Monarch" to be exact. And that's all you really need to know, but....
While playing GTA IV with Silver and friends, we realized that when Proximity chat is on during team deathmatch other people could hear what we said. So we came up with a battle plan of chanting "Mecha Shiva, Mecha Shiva, Mecha Shiva" whenever we got close to another team.
If we won, we'd say something like "Mecha Shiva be praised." Then when we joined rooms with other people, someone would say "Have you guys heard the good news of Mecha Shiva?"
Yeah.
