Fiddlers Green Feeling the weight of some of my exploits in the past a bit more keenly than usual If there's aught I can do, let me know. I am, as ever, your .... *insert appropriate alternative to humble* *insert appropriate alternative to servant* Fiddlers Green As for future North land visits... hmmm... likely next year, I have some finances to sort, and several friends elsewhere that are clamouring for my presence. sweatdrop Hell yeah. I've been over to America three times, that's 30000 miles and several days in flight time. Has there been any reciprocation? I tell ya. No appreciation or love for the Wing. *emo*

My sense of humor demands that should I ever fall into enough money to travel abroad (damn Shamans- always hogging the deck chairs) I fully intend to pop in on people unannounced... but now this is known to some of the people I would visit- so it's semi-announced. ninja

Guess what guys, I actually found a copy of the Necronomicon in the local book store...under New Age....xD I was very tempted to shove it into the fiction shelf and hope no one would notice. ninja

What is the author listed? Depending on who it is it may well belong there.

Fiddlers Green I'm sorry for that Blue Rose... I wish the game hadn't fallen to pieces on you. Playing solo sucks for the most part, but online co-op is all sorts of love. I've been playing with a friend of mine in PA on weekends, and we're having a blast. This will easily tie us over until Fable 2 and Diablo III are released. *drools at thought of finally playing Diablo III* ninja Also, the weapon names are awesome. It's always (Adjective) (Weapon name/description) of (sometimes adjective/adverb) (noun/verb). I'm fairly certain they're randomly generated, so you get wonderful names like "The bright scepter of wrathful fury," "Heavy toecap of toughness," or, my personal favourite that I've gotten, "The Silver Plasma gun of Plasma." rofl Quote: As for myself, I am reasonably well. Feeling the weight of some of my exploits in the past a bit more keenly than usual, but all things considered, I am well. As for future North land visits... hmmm... likely next year, I have some finances to sort, and several friends elsewhere that are clamouring for my presence. sweatdrop Can't blame others for demanding your presence. You're a delight. heart Happy to hear you are well. Take it easy and rest up--Tea and I want a well-rested and happy Fiddler come next visit. Hopefully the boyfriend and I will have rented a house by then, so there might actually be room to have everybody up for a day or so (and under better circumstances than last time).

*grumbles* Okay, I need to find music for my dance solo in October. Anyone got suggestions? Under 3 minutes, mid-tempo, Tribalish sounding?

So... my boyfriend got his wisdom teeth taken out yesterday (they were coming in sideways and/or impacted, not sure on dental jargon). Someone told his mother that maybe placing tea bags in his cheeks would help with some of the swelling and pain.
Tea? May I ask for your expertise on that suggestion?

Taliah So... my boyfriend got his wisdom teeth taken out yesterday (they were coming in sideways and/or impacted, not sure on dental jargon). Someone told his mother that maybe placing tea bags in his cheeks would help with some of the swelling and pain. Tea? May I ask for your expertise on that suggestion? Black teabags can help with clotting. Because of the course texture of gauze, the removal of the gauze can pull the clots out and start the bleeding over again- this isn't as big of a problem with the fine mesh used for tea bags. Further- the acids released by the tea help with the clotting. The L theanine can produce feelings of calm while the caffeine can work along side some pain medications to increase their effectiveness. There are some studies that suggest that tea can act as an anti-inflammatory agent and the tannic acid of the tea acts as an antiseptic. In short- when I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled, I sucked on tea bags.

Are there any certain brands or types that you would say work better than others?
Thanks for the info, I'm sure he'll appreciate it too once we get him set up. ^_^
