"Please, skinny isn't always a good thing, my dear! Hiding behind those feathers masks a true beauty! Now why don't you come with me so I can pick you out something nice! My stuff is meant to carry my wings, but I don't think it'll hold up to a transformation, but we can make due!" I say to Branwen cheerfully. I would likely need her to come with me to fit the garment, seeing as she had different proportions then me, and i wanted to do my best to make her look good.

My self-consciousness overwhelms me and Layla's comment warms me so much I feel the threat of tears sitting in my throat and making my eyes glossy.
"Thank you so...so much..." I say with a somewhat choked voice. "You two are so very sweet..."
I cautiously slide off the chair, all the while using my arms to hold down the garments as closed as possible and as tight as possible so they don't open.
"Neither of you need to carry me: I'm really heavy, and I don't want to do that to you, especially up some stairs. You have already have helped me more than enough, so I may as well leave you a little less work..." I say with a grateful smile as I prepare to follow Layla and Mazurn.

Nyx:
"I can stay up," Irene replies with a yawn.

Layla:
Your character tells you that it's on the second floor, smack dab in the middle of the first hall you enter upon climbing the stairs from the main hall.

I hobble up after Mazurn and Layla, slowly, since I'm still making the effort to keep my clothes closed with each movement, and I smile at Mazurn with embarassment and nervously chuckle as we make our way.

Willow:
"Pass me the eylil," Xiao says. "So, how did you meet Layla?"
The eylil is the strange meat in your left hand.

"Okay then. Would you like to go sit down somewhere and rest your legs for awhile?"

"Okay..." I look around for a place for Irene to sit.

Nyx:
You see the dining table in the adjoining room, which has quite a few chairs. You'll probably have to pick her up to get her on them, but they look fine.

Layla & Branwen & Mazurn:
The room is decorated in dark colors, mostly black and purple. The bed, which is on the east wall, looks big enough for two, though it is obvious that half of it has hardly ever been used. The west wall is covered in paintings of famous heroes. The south wall is mostly bare. The north wall has Layla's wardrobe, which is so big, it takes up half of the wall and juts out from said wall by several feet. There is a table in the middle of the room with a candle sitting on it. The candle is fresh and was obviously replaced just recently. There are places on the table where it is obvious that wax from a previous candle dripped onto the wood.

Layla:
You once again get a giddy feeling as your character starts to cycle through what she remembers is in the wardrobe (which equates out to quite a few outfits). She also exudes this giddy feeling when she thinks of the books she's hidden away in that table: fantasy, adventure, romance...there's about five books that she remembers hiding in the table's drawers.
