I was going for a Han Solo look for shits and giggles.

Unfortunately I've had a terrible day today and I had made the mistake of entering an avatar into the arena, which I'm guessing is filled with the kind of people that are excreted from the bowels of the INTERNET™ that really have nothing better to do than dump on people to make them feel that much better about themselves because mommy never hugged them.

Haven't seen Indy yet. I want to, but... between my schedule and everyone else I know having seen it, I'm kind of SOL, because I don't like to go to movies by myself.

"...i understand that, but in the time taken to argue with me, i could've put those bikes up and been on my way. so... do we need to put any more on the top rack?

because i get nudged every time the bike rack isn't 100% full, which is 100% of the time. i also get nudged when there are bikes in the isle... which there was at the end of this because they DID have to go on the top and by the time i was done building, i was too close to clock-out to get the scissor lift from across the store and put them up. some cranky lady trying to tell me how to do my job, and not having the decency to attempt a rank card pull out of the customers' view, isn't something i need piled atop my list of stressors.

...but then i came home and ran a few miles and everything was right with the world until the mosquitoes started biting. you? how was the visit?


OH, and then this happened.

Don't know if he's since moved, but last time I checked, Enki lived around Disneyland, which definitely counts as not within the area of the Bay. Wanna say Hugin does, but haven't seen him in forevers, unless there's muleage action I don't know about. Probably going to have to pass myself, even though I haven't seen it yet either. Got a final that evening, and though it's the easiest one I have hands down, I'll probably be on campus working most of the day. Sorry, man. D:

Visit was wonderful, except for some drama with people getting lost in the crowd and being incompetent with phones right at the end. Got a t-shirt and attended some panels at Fanime (one was for Gaia, the other was the actors playing Vergil and Dante from DMC talking about the crazy things they did as stuntmen, really good stuff), but wasn't all that blown away by the con itself, except for the size of the dealer's hall. Crossing people I knew from school was neat, though. All in all, the most fun was just hanging out and eating good food (mmh, kuro ramen...)

Of course, seeing Iron Man for the first time didn't hurt either <3__<3

It wasn't so much poking fun at the name (well, okay, a little) as it was still not being able to pronounce it.

That and I'm not that fond of his acting chops, kind of like that one guy that starred in Superbad then Juno. If I had known awkward late teen nerds were in such high demand I would have been born a few years later.

Man, I'm ******** pissed. I just had to do a complete HD recovery and lost everything because my ******** systemconfig file went corrupt even though it was perfectly fine UNTIL I restarted my laptop for an update it told me to restart for!
