A death star laser cannon is not applicable. Its a one hit kill, no matter what. Can you imagine rolling a 1 on a d20 roll?
Oh, look at that. The core blows up, you die.

Even better, you MISS the planet you were targeting, striking your own homeworld and blowing it to pieces. In the ensuing explosion, a blast of heat, concussive force, and rocks slam into the deathstar, critically damaging it. As you struggle to breath due to failing life support systems, the core fails, collapses in on itself, and then explodes, destroying everyone on your ship in a fiery holocaust.

considering the stuff they have on it, there would be 10 trained gunners that would operate it. They would all add their bonuses would pool together to do it. Now if it was orientation day and they decided to give the scoundrel class gunners controls, then they would all have to fail their rolls and then MAYBE if the gm feels it necesary, the stations cannon would be disabled until it is repaired or replaced.
So no, it wouldn't miss. They have supercomputers to aim precisely where they want to hit. So in theory, they could damage the energy emiter on it, and focus it all on to one person. Imagine the terror.

I choose not to partake in silly events such as Camp Chaos. It's a waste of my time, in my opinion.. >.>
So, anyways... Um.. A giant whale has fallen on Grady's cardboard house. :3

I think Mythic covers it...people will be telling that story for years. "Hey, you remember that dumbass who blew up the death star by accident?"
