Oh my god. Some of you still have pieces of wisdoms inside your mouths? Makes me happy they yank out three of mine without so much as a warm-up. They clamped them teeth and yanked like there was no tommorrow. Vicadine is candy. xp I only took one pill, though, no more.

Koi, I suggest you save some and the rest you use to buy a game. Yeah...


Exactly what I did. (has put $21 bucks aside for the needed stuff, and spent the rest on DDR Ultramix 3 and Wrist and Ankle weights *5 pounds each, ya'll, and about 20 pounds of weights total* )

I have noticed my arms becoming sore after I put the weights on, I wonder if thats a good thing...

*I also want to put on my 10 pounders, but my friend's little bro has those*

Hmm....is DDR a good way to shed pounds?

DDR is a great way to build lower body strength and shed some weight. Though if you're not doing some fancy moves, the rest of the body won't do much...

Housework is awesome exercise. Trust me. I managed to lose more over Christmas than gain from all the housework I've been doing whee

I've been playing DDR recently as my diet program - two hours a day, nonstop, light to standard.

One of my friends used to have little to no muscle. When he would play DDR, his actual INSIDES would jump around WITH him. That was gross.

Since then, however, he's grown enough muscle to keep them in place.

For good weight loss, though, you need to make sure that you combine exercise with specific eating regimens. If you don't eat enough proteins that are low in fat, you won't build muscle. You also need to have specific different regimens from day to day. You should start with upper body stuff, and then focus completely on lower body the next day, and then switch off.

That tends to be more balanced.

Also, you may want to consider getting a blood test for hypothyroid. I recently got a blood test back, and they found out that I probably have it. I've been gaining weight really easily without really any reason, and they were worried about me. Turns out that my thyroid (which processes your food and controls metabolism) is working hardly at all, and this is why all my exercise and healthy eating hasn't done much more than slowed the weight gain. It was scaring me, but now they're going to get me on medicine, so I should be back down to normal in a few months.

Unless you are like me that looks like a dwarven warrior with a growth spurt and wail when you gain some fat but wail even more when your muscles grow to replace the fat you hoped to burn. I think a Norse Valkyrie would be more fitting here! sweatdrop

Hmm...well I also carry a briefcase with my story-in-progress, my artpad, the necessary utensils, and a CD Player around when I walk to the mall *with the weights* So I guess that could help matter along, as well. I'm also planning to take up Capoeira, once I get a job and the cash to pay for classes. *has wanted to learn how to breakdance*
