"Oh! Really?" I ask embaressedly to Xiao's first responce. I then address her second question. "Oh... there's twenty of us total... assuming you want to join us, which I would like it if you did..." I say. "Would you like me to help?" I ask in a pleasent tone. Xiao seemed pretty important to this character, and I found this mysterious connection to what seems to be another person just as facinating as our situation...

As I squeeze Mazurn's hand, I realize my body has less...heat. I feel more of a draft on my chest and look down to see that my skin isn't blanketed in feathers and...I'm a human! I'm almost about to lift myself up, but then I realize my indecency and pull the garment closed as quickly as possible and as tightly as I can manage. How nightmarish it would be if I had no cover! My cheeks flush a deep red and I realize that my blush can actually be seen now!
"Um..." I say as I put my hand on Mazurn's shoulder to use to pull myself up, but doing so is excruciating and hellish. I wince in pain and grit my teeth tightly at the sting and then just fall down to my knees once again.
"At least I know I can transform now, but...ow...it hurts so much..." I say as I cringe and groan.
"I'll try to take advantage of this form as much as possible right now before I change back. It hurts too much to do so so soon after just transforming. And...I feel really weak and hungry now..."

"Well, if walking is a problem, I could just pick you up and carry you." Mazurn said, eager to see more of what the rest of my team can do. "Oh, by the way, Mazurn is an old name from my family history. It also means 'Transformation'. It also sounds cool too." Mazurn said, happy to have gotten so close to another person so fast. It looks like human interaction is easier then d.sims...
(thank you for making the coat long. that is what I wanted for Mazurn, a long coat.)

I take a deep breath and smile at Mazurn and his offer, but then slightly frown.
"That would be nice, but I'm probably too heavy...probably heavier than you..." I say as I lower my head in shame.
"My bones were lighter in anthro raven form, but...still...I wish I wasn't so heavy. I don't even think I'm that fat! But maybe...maybe that's because I have more of my weight distributed in different areas other than the regular fatty areas like the stomach..." I become somewhat self-conscious and wrap the coat even tighter around my upper half, blushing.
"I...I can walk with your help, though..."

"Yes, I'd like it quite a bit if you would help me!" she says. "To the kitchen!"
She hurries off towards the kitchen, rushing past Willow.
Mazurn:
Sure thing.

I hurry off after Xiao, navigating my way back to the kitchen. I then started to wonder how well my character knew how to cook... In real life, my parents taught me how to cook pretty well, but I'm not quite sure how well a noble would...

"I think you look nice." Mazurn said as he had his hand out still for Brawen to grab. "I think it would be better to ask Layla if there is any clothes that you can wear." Mazurn said as he began to look for Layla.

"Let's see if we can get ourselves some food and a room, shall we?" I listen around for voices as I didn't see where some of the others, including Layla, went.

Your character draws a blank on cooking; in other words, she doesn't know anything. When you get into the kitchen, Xiao tosses you an apron.
"You'll need that," she says.
She puts one on herself.
Mazurn:
Layla is not in the main chamber, but you hear a strange female voice speaking in the kitchen.
Nyx:
The only voice you hear other than Mazurn is a strange female voice from the kitchen.

I put the apron on, though I figure for continuity with 'Layla Abdul' the character, I'll pretend I didn't know anything. "So, what are we making right now?" I ask her. In truth, it would probably be easier for me feign ignorance then it seems, as I really knew noting about the cuisine here...

I smile, blushing intensely, then grab Mazurn's hand and use his shoulder as my crutch, slightly limping at my physical imperfections and pain from the change. I wonder why he's being so nice to me. Guys were rarely this nice in the real world to me. Then I blush more at the thought. Then again, not too many guys got to almost see my naked chest. I look up at him with an embarassed smile, then decide that I'm just going to take his actions as acts of kindness.
"Thank you so much..." I say with a quivering voice as I walk with him, then my head slightly to the little cat.
"Little young lady, would you...would you like to come with us?"
and to Leina and Apollo, "And...and you guys...since you were among the first people I saw?" I smile at them as I slowly walk along.
(And it's Branwen with an n, dear Peten...:3)

Having followed Layla and 'Xion' Willow strolled over and grabbed an apron, have a little skill from her days with the traveling circus, she decided she may as well put her skills to use "If there are a lot of us, should we make a meat based dish, with some sides perhaps" she was already looking around for ingredients.

"Why dont we see who was over there, maybe they could give you some clothes." Mazurn said as he slowly walked over to the source if the voice he heard, while supporting Branwen.
(oh yeah, before anyone else tries to focibly take the pendant off him, it is double looped aroud his neck, so just pulling it off will choke him. And thank you Acina. smile )

"Well of course! I was wondering if there was already something in the works!" I say cheerfully. I found it rather interesting that Willow had wanted to join us, but I find myself smiling a bit at the idea. She seems to be integrating a bit better then she might want to show! I guess it's true that beyond all exteriors, there's always a nice and caring side to people... As my thoughts started to drift, I then began to wonder... what does my character actually like to eat? Would my tastes in food change as well?
