Thick wisps of silver mist solidify in the corner of the
bar, glowing amber coals peering out from the shadows.
If one looked hard enough they would see it was Artemis
but Artemis looked nothing like Artemis. His skin was a
deep tan, fuchsia tresses spilling over his eyes, flowing
down to his shoulders. He smiled, leaning against the
wall, remaining silent, just watching.

and kneeling down he clicked his tongue, beckoning
her foreward with a wiggle of fingers.
"Don't let those cretinous people bother you,
litte damsel. They just do not understand
anything do they? Come to me, let me stroke
your ears and make all well.."

fingers stroked along her midnight fur. There
was no doubt. Artemis was, indeed, wicked &
destructive now but he had a soft spot for half
breeds. Those who were part animal.
