my thoughts for today
First thing when I woke up and stepped outside for my morning breathing, it was SNOWING!!
It hardly snows here and I love snow so I was so happy, none was sticking to the ground but it was awesome I got it on my tongue and eyelashes.
5mins later it stopped O.o
so what is the snow like where you are?

It varies. I live in a snowbelt. We get snowsqualls off the Great Lakes and it can be a lot. Right now it's -20° C. (or colder at times) and we've got about a foot on the ground. But it'll warm up again and it'll all melt or get iced over by freezing rain. Then more snow and cold. Lather rinse repeat until May.

WTF?!? confused
Just because your Gods are traditionally associated with a colder climate, it doesn't give you magical cold resisting powers.

That's so what I wanted to say to him. But I couldn't exactly use myself or Zane as an example since I'm a freeze baby and Zane hasn't dedicated himself to any gods yet.

For the last few years? Oddly warm winters leading to minimal snow. It still snows some but rarely sticks or accumulates more then a few inches. And the temperature fluctuates to often that even that usually melts in a few weeks at most. It's sad too. I miss the more impressive snows of my childhood. We haven't gotten a proper winter around here in maybe 5 years now.

A year or two ago, in winter, we got actual snow here. It was like "omg". People in office buildings ran outside, in their suits, and started jumping around. Of course it didn't stay on the ground, pretty much melted before it even hit, but it was pretty miraculous. First snow we'd had in like 50 years.

Uh, snow? What is this concept? It's never snowed where I live at all. Not even gotten near it. It snows in the Victorian high country, but there's rarely a year that we don't switch on the snow-making machines. Australia's just too hot for proper snow it seems... sad

Its similar where I live sweatdrop
I'm hoping when I move out I end up somewhere that is snows more but not a crazy lot. I remember a couple good snows when I was younger but lately the winters do seem to be warmer then normal.

Wow till May (O.O)
I love snow but that much snow would be a bit much for me.
I think part of why I like snow is because I didn't grow up in an area with an overwhelming amount of it.

*sigh* So I don't know if I should confront my friend about something he posted on Facebook or not. The comments he was making about Boy Scouts considering repealing their no gay policy makes me wonder how we could have dated at all.

Yes...when I visited America! It was on our last day in Atlanta just before we drove to the airport to go back to Texas. It started snowing a little and I got so excited to see it. By the time we got to the airport there was a thin layer on the ground, and our flight was delayed an hour before we had to be de-iced. I wanted to go outside and play in the snow so badly despite the fact I hate the cold. But I was stuck inside the plane. emotion_donotwant

I'm grumpy. We finally got a decent snow and the next day it was all rained away. Now everything is muck and it's once again much to warm for winter in MI.
