superwhatever Uke_lovechild Y'all are gonna hate me but I find gender bending funny. Mprg is another err thing I enjoy. Herm is ... intresting but not my bag. I had to voice my opinion *curls into a fetal position and then gives the thumbs up* Ok proceed with the beating yeah I like mpreg too It's just too precious to see a man go through the nine months as for the whole "taking away the shonen ai" feel I agree but in the gender bender fics I choose to read either have all of the male cast all turn female or its humor. If they all turn femaler there is much yuri love until they turned back in the end where they had much yaoi love. (I skip the yuri on those and just read for the plot) There was only two I read that made it hetero and enjoyed were both in the smae series. Also It had bi characters so they loved each other regardless.

Of course if you want those to state their opinion I'll state my opinion. My view on having the ukes turning into a girl is totally fine with me as long as the fanfic or fan object is created nicely. If it's a load of crap then I wouldn't want the character turned female. Oh yes and I specifically want the character to get pregnant if he is turned male for what's the point of being female for a long period of time without some type of interesting plot along the way.

Yaoi consists of guys with...yeah...and explicit...yeah. When one becomes a girl, the entire concept changes. And if you love that pairing as much as you claim to, why would you like changing and warping it into something it can't be? crying
I don't like it because I've been an obsessed yaoi fan for 6 years and I hate the female anatomy. Ruins good yaoi lemons... stressed

I CANNOT stand it when people turn Yuugi-chan into a girl. it's so pointless! He's a boy! Why change the sex of a character? WHY?! I can't seem to get my head around that one, can you? O.o

However, if the person is able to keep them in character,
the story is well written,
has a plot,
and the character being the girl is already femme,
then I don't see a problem with it.
As for Mpreg,
that just pisses me off unless there is a distinct reason for it

@: Natural.Disaster: There's nothing wrong with a well written plot and in character characters, that's for damn sure!
I suppose no one can really say that "oh you're wrong for making them girls or making her a guy." It is just a fictional story after all. (even though Yu-Gi-Oh is the best thing since time began!) But because it's a fictional story, you can create other fictional stories from it, you know? (did that make any sense? I'm not very good at explaining things DX)

I don't really mind the girl-turning so much as long as the characters do not change personalities. (I can understand some emotional complications since males and females have different hormones, but overall...) Anyway, gender doesn't make much of a difference to me. The character is still the same character whatever gender they are (as long as they aren't drastically altered due to the transformation.) Now, if someone just ends up changing a character's gender for the sake of changing their gender, it does irk me a bit because it doesn't seem to have a point. But if there is a legitimate reason in the plot and they stay mostly in character, then I have no problem with it. Besides, Jounouchi with boobs is hawtt. XD
As for m-preg? Same thing; doesn't bother me as long as they explain reasons and how it happened properly and they stay in character.

There was a fanfic on quizilla a lONG time ago that was first called 'A Date With Marik Ishtar' but then changed to 'Beneath the Madness'
Anyways, Malik manked the character then Yami no Mariku decided to come out and thought the perfect place would be the shadow realm...
Of course I was very innocent back then and um...
Well...
It frightened me... like the little girl I was. *nods*
But yeah, don't read those... gonk
