I recently got In Her Drawer by Rx Bandits down to the dot. Lots of fun to play, I love playing in 3. I'm working on Tainted Wheat and To Our Unborn Daughters, both also by Rx Bandits. They're not easy sad

Here's a few off of the top of my head:
Blood & Thunder - Mastodon March of the Fire Ants - Mastodon Iron Tusk - Mastodon The Wolf is Loose - Mastodon Backbone - Gojira Wisdom Comes - Gojira To Sirius - Gojira Vigil - Lamb of God F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. - The Fall of Troy Laces Out, Dan! - The Fall of Troy
And more that I don't feel like listing. I just wanted to point out I like to play prog metal. XD

Yeah there are too many to list (for alot of us I'm sure)
My latest attempt is Obzen by Meshuggah biggrin
I just need to work on the beginning part more, but my brother moved out so it's just solo now and that's a bit tougher.
Anybody else try Meshuggah?

I can play any song that doesn't have too many changes of rhythm... like yurtle the turtle... My favourite songs to play though are can't stop-chili peppers and self esteem- the offspring.

Anybody else try Meshuggah? haha yes, the secret is that everything they write is actually in 4/4, they just make lines that go over measures and sync up like every 13 bars or something. It's rediculous but you get used to it. So I finished pretty much every TOOL song ever, every Avenged Sevenfold song (though some sound hard, it was actually really easy, you just gotta get used to his style of writing parts), Now I'm working on the entire Between the Buried and Me album Alaska. Selkies= most fun song ever to play on drums, even more fun than Tom Sawyer by Rush. Lamb of God is beastly hard sometimes, but so much fun to try to play. Same for Shadows Fall, Jason Bittner is amazing as well. And Mastodon...ahhh, another great fun band to drum to with crazy hand parts and surprisingly not much tough double bass licks.

I have a play list that I rock out to everday and night on the drums, and the 3 hardest on that list that I can actually do well would be: -coming undone;Korn -The unforgiven, master of puppets, one, and blackened;metallica -Crak dat remix; travis barker. lol I also can do the drum fill in the intro of blood and thunder by mastodon, but I would probably be able to do the song if I could actually find the beat. That guy just goes too over board with the crash. I like the idea of remixing songs like travis does so I made a pretty good remix of mockingbird by eminem.

Spex8929 I'm upset now. I've been playing for 4 or 5 years (can't remeber) and I still can't play any good songs. I have a really good teacher too and I practice just about every day. Do any of you guys have any good recommendations for how I can play harder songs? It's mostly SOAD stuff because that's what me and my friends "band" (it's just us two) is mostly playing. Thanks for your help guys! Well, I started in jan. and learned The Stairway to Heaven, that some people think is hard...
