Creed listened intently, but his gaze was focused upon the task at hand, lifting only occasionally to scan the male's features for signs he was hiding something - he was, but Skylar knew better than to call him out on it. "She sounds a right firebrand..." he mused, his words calm as though completely oblivious to Fire's abilities, "I would recommend giving her a shock...something to make her realise what strains she's putting your group under...Hmm..." he gripped Silver's wrist a little tighter to prevent him pulling away, "Are you sure? We haven't much further to go," he wiped away the blood with a cloth before taking up the tattoo machine again, he wanted to keep going, but would wait until Silver was certain before continuing again when he was ready. "Trust me, I'm not bored in the slightest...but this him...the boy. Is no longer in the city, that is why you will never see him." Creed still held some bitterness, but it seemed less prominent in his voice now...at least for the moment. "He was taken to Dangu to be a gift for the Tigress..." the last part of his sentence was spoken mockingly as though he were quoting the General who gave the order...then his frown deepened... "Now he, along with any chance of finding out what he really is...is gone." He still cursed his bad luck on losing everything he'd gathered on the youth, his mind momentarily overshadowed by the disappointment before lightening again, "We are done." He'd been so engrossed in the project it seemed almost a shame to stop... He took a moment to cleanse the area, wiping clean all the blood and serum before wrapping the tattoo and turning his focus on cleaning his equipment, "Can I help you?" he almost growled at the door as a shadow lingered in the clouded glass. "I am still with my patient."The shadow drew away and Skylar continued cleaning his equipment before turning back to Silver as something metallic bounced off the floor in the next room. "You should be fine to leave..." he looked towards the closet, "...But I would linger for a moment." The thud of an impact, followed by the sound of books hitting the ground stiffened the male's stature and he advanced towards the door swiftly, leaving it ajar as he stepped into the corridor. "What on Earth!?"In the next room, Cyrus had pinned the intruder against the bookshelf, holding the soldier's face against the flat separator as Creed advanced, "I thought you said they left you alone." the Hunter scowled, holding the man tight as Skylar drew a syringe from his coat and prepared a dose, "They usually keep their distance, but you must have piqued their interest." Injecting the soldier in the neck the scientist took a step back watching as the man went limp within Cyrus's arms. "Bring him this way." Knowing there was little chance of hiding Cyrus's identity from Silver much longer, Creed led the way back to the office, pushing the door open with his foot before turning to wait as the hunter dragged the soldier in. He was unaware of what fireworks might occur if the pair somehow recognised each other, but with an intruder in their midst, he hoped any ill considerations would be forgotten for the moment... "Put him in the chair." he directed Cyrus past, glancing towards Silver before turning back as the hunter entered. Cyrus didn't lift his eyes until the unconscious soldier was seated, then he turned to glance around the room. "Usually, if I get any intruders, then it's just the one, idiotic fool that seems to think he can get away with it." he started to rummage in the drawers as though looking for something, "Now...where did I put it?"~*~*~ Tala found it very hard to keep up with the man, but eventually, they reached a set of large doors which drew back at the hands of the guards to reveal a grand throne room. "Come, come." dragging Tala forward by his wrist, the man advanced along the expensive carpet before coming to a stop before the steps which lead up to the throne itself, here, he delivered a strong push to the back of Tala's knees, forcing the youth to drop. "Eyes down, Runt." he scowled, pushing Tala's head down before donning a grin as large feathered fans drew back to reveal the Tigress in all her form. "What is the meaning of this intrusion, Filous?" The Tigress waved away her aides before leaning forward on her throne, "Another well dressed Whelp bidding for my grace?" Tala tried to lift his gaze, but the man pushed his head down once again, "Your Highness, This boy is a gift from General Leen. On your feet." he gripped Tala's shoulder now, ignoring the youth's pained hiss as he dragged him to his feet. "He seems only of reasonable stock, but I'm certain you will find use of him," he reached for Tala's chin, his intention to lift the youth's head and show his face, but instead, Tala gave a growl and stepped back before lunging forward and clamping down on the man's hand. Filous gave a scream and jerked backwards as the youth let go, reaching forward and gripping Tala by the shirt before preparing a jewel-covered hand to strike him for his assault. "ENOUGH!" The Tigress's shout resonated around them before fading into whispering echoes, she was on her feet now and glaring at the pair. Filous released his grip, pushing Tala off balance before straightening himself out and bowing his head, "My apologies Milady." he sunk to one knee, clutching his bitten hand close to his chest whilst glaring towards Tala who had landed on the floor at the base of the steps... "Get yourself tended to," sitting down, the Tigress extended a clawed finger towards the man before waving him away, "As for you..." she lowered her hand to point down at the youth who had rolled over and was now pushing himself to his feet, "Collar him." Her remark was blunt, but before Tala could straighten up, he was set upon by several guards who wrestled him to the ground before attaching a collar - with chain - around the youth's neck. "Vicious animals should be kept on a leash." she mused, watching as the guards attached the other end of the chain to a loop on the ground at the base of the steps. "You may go. I want some alone time with my new pet." she waved the guards away, leaving Tala on his hands and knees. "I am Nobody's Pet!" the youth gave a snarl, trying to locate the release for the collar but finding nothing but a small hole where a key would unlock the catch... "Animals bite. And you just bit my garment-maker. Therefore you must be collared until you become tame enough to be my pet." She held the key aloft, inspecting it lightly before slipping it into the bust of her gown, "I am not an Animal!" Tala made a lunge up the steps, but the collar only allowed him to halfway up before pulling taut - at least two metres away from the feet of the Tigress who watched on amusedly as the youth came to an abrupt halt. "Do as you're told and I might add a few rings to your leash." she sat back, stretching in her seat before slinging her legs over the arm of the throne, "Now sit down. I am expecting visitors." she gave a yawn, then after a few minutes of relaxing in that position, resumed her original pose as the large doors opened. With little option to do anything else, Tala stifled a growl and took a seat on the bottom step, glaring at the old soldier who had entered as he advanced with his wife, towards the throne.

Silver stayed still and shook his head, watching as Creed finished the new tattoo. It did sting and his arm felt like it had been stung over and over by bees yet he was glad that once that was gone he would have, once more, free movement of his arm. "Hmmm.....shock? Well she's a bit tricky to handle though I do stay firm on her as dose the older brother." Silver began trailing off as he thought over how or what would work for shocking Fire. "She's hard to stun but there is a spot that none of us touch...." his face fell thinking of how easily soldiers were able to make her put caution, by how her wounds looked, to the wind.
He wished she could let go of Lysin yet knew that was never going to happen. He looked up to Skylar after his arm was wrapped to allow the ink and serum to set. "...I hope for the boy's sake that he does not anger the Tigress. I've never met her myself but I hear she's befits her name quite nicely." He said in a lower tone before looking over as Skylar acknowledged the person outside.
He stayed put when Creed left and started to stand when he heard the commotion but stayed in the room. He wanted to help if he could, his hand reaching for his jacket to get his gun. As things quieted down he moved towards the door to look out only to quickly move back when Skylar opened the door.
He kept back and out of the way, watching as an unconscious soldier was brought in. Silver eyed Cyrus over closely, frowning as his body tensed, listening closely as he moved carefully over while keeping examining eyes on the Hunter. "....Hello....and you are?" Silver asked in a cautious and stern voice, his shoulders tense as he scrutinized the Hunter while thinking back to what Fire had said about the raid on Lysin's old hideout.
By the time the classes ended, Annabell was overjoyed and waited for her father, shifting nervously on her feet side to side. She wanted out of there and back home to hide, holding her bag close which was heavier thanks to the added paperwork she had for her sister.
As she saw her father pull up she went quickly over to his vehicle, climbing in and sighed in relief. She was glad to be inside and away from her peers. "Hey, how was your day?" he asked as she buckled in.
"Stressful, um can we please go?" she asked looking to her father with her good pleading eye, her false eye covered by her hair.
"Why are you hiding your eye? You know the doctor said to let it be out and to get some use." He said pushing her hair back. "You know if it goes back then it wasn't worth the effort and time it took them to get it working for you or the time it took for us to gain approval of my insurance to even cover it so you'd be able to see through two eyes." He felt bad as she looked down and sighed hugging her with both arms after unbuckling. "I miss her too but we'll be fine. We just need to keep positive she'll come back." He whispered kissing her head.
Annabell closed her eyes feeling a tear slip down her cheek. She was thinking that would be harder than expected. "I'm not sure I can handle that." She said softly, feeling nervous, upset, and scared. "What if they don't let her come back? What if they....they..." she was scared to utter the words 'kill her' to her father.
His face fell getting the message and sighed, pulling back and pushed some strains of her hair back. "Don't think like that. I know there's that reputation but we have to keep thinking that she'll be released sooner than later and come home." He whispered and kissed her forehead. "How about we go get some dinner out to eat?" he asked and she nodded.
He rebuckled and drove off with her relaxing back in her seat. "Maybe....at that spicy place that also sells ice cream?" she asked.
"Alright, we'll go check out that place." Her father said and they went, hoping they both could get calmed down and think more positively even though it was hard. Neither wanted to imagine their lives with Rosalie gone or harmed in a violent manner.
At the palace fortress things had deteriorated quickly. After Dragon woke to find Rosalie gone he ordered his men to search for her, furious his pet given freedom would run from him. In the kitchen Rosalie ate, releasing a startled noise when pulled by the maid from before. "Quickly!" she whispered and they were off.
Rosalie kept up being pulled by the wrist by the maid. They ran with soldiers spotting them and starting to close off parts of the palace. Getting into a hall and ducking some gunfire, Dragon growled walking up in his armor and gear as he neared and saw the back of the maid who betrayed him with the personal servant fleeing from him.
His eyes narrowed and he moved a hand, signaling to one of his soldiers. The soldier fired multiple shots, one striking the back of Rosalie's shoulder, cracking the shoulder blade. The girl screamed out in pain her body collapsing as she tried to get back up with blood seeping out as the maid tried to help her up to run.
She started to speak only to gasp and hold her throat, trying to breath as Dragon approached while clicking his tongue in disappointment. "My dear, dear, sweet personal servant. I thought you loved me, and would stay." He cooed in a cold voice that tried to mask itself as something sweet without success. It sent a chill down Rosalie's spine.
"Lord Dragon, how could I be happy and love someone who does those.....things to another person!" Rosalie snapped out of the stinging pain in her shoulder which only increased as a flame rose from the wound, making her cry out in agony.
His eyes hardened on her form that tried to scoot away on the ground as he moved the maid aside, throwing her into a side wall. "So you wish to be considered not a person?" he questioned curiously tilting his head as he neared, grabbing her hair to pull her head up to look at him. "And you were so beautiful. Pitty." He sighed heavily looking gravely disappointed in her, as though he had expected much better from something brought in off the street.
He threw her down hard making her grunt as he stood and turned walking away from her as he looked at one of his soldiers she saw was dressed in lighter colors. "Use the five rings. I want to see what kind of monster we can make." He chuckled with a very dark and twisted grin.
Rosalie gulped and struggled to get up, finding her footing and started to run only to be tackled by two soldiers that held onto her arms. She struggled against them as a man in white with other soldiers carrying a few boxes approached. She tensed and tried to jerk free without success. "Don't worry, I rarely get the chance to add to the monsters of this land." he cooed with a chuckle.
She watched scared as he opened two then three, mixing liquids and lining them up into what looked like weird bracelets, not helping ease the twisted fear in her stomach.

Before Creed had left to investigate the sound, he'd paused for a moment as he heard Silver mention about hoping for Tala's sake he didn't anger the Tigress... Skylar knew well the wrath of the Owls as he had treated many who had been on the receiving end of their punishments - so this concerned him slightly, especially as he recalled how the youth had put up such a fight back at the cabin... Still, this was all past and Tala's life was out of his hands...it would be upon the youth's own head if he chose to strike out against an Owl. Now in present time, Creed had finally located the item he had been searching for and turned back round to face the chair as Cyrus turned his attention towards Silver. "I think it's a little late to cover up your identities," he looked at the hunter as he said this before advancing and attaching a tube to the soldier's arm, "Besides, we're All friends here." The last comment was said lightly, but no doubt came with a warning that to start a fight would lead to a world of hurt for them both... "Cyrus Marshall." Having preferred to keep his identity a secret, Cyrus bowed his head slightly, "And you are?" he personally had no recognition of the male, but didn't doubt that he had some connection with the rebels. His eyes drifted to Creed as he attached a bag to the end of the tube, "What are you doing?" he frowned, turning to face the scientist as he released the stopper and started collecting blood from the soldier, "♫♪ Making use of the moment ♪♫" Creed replied almost musically, watching as the bag started to fill, "How often does a valuable asset just walk into our midst? You don't know how many people would appreciate a transfusion nowadays..." his eyes watched intently as the red liquid started to line the edges of the bag before filling from the base upwards. Cyrus narrowed his eyes at the man's childlike fascination, then breathed a sigh, turning his attention back to Silver, "From the Outlands." he offered a hand to the male, hoping the male would accept he was just a lowly outlander - and not an Ex-Soldier/Elite. ~*~*~ One couldn't begin to explain how boring it was sitting and listening to the vast array of veterans seeking a sympathetic ear to their problems... Having already been beaten for speaking out of turn, Tala had chosen to keep well out of the way - sitting to the side of the steps whilst the session continued on. He feigned little interest as the next procession of citizens wandered in, scrutinising them silently, he turned his head away and listened to their requests to the Tigress, then watched as Her Highness treated them with the same disdain as she had done with those preceding them... Sitting with his elbows on his knees and his chin rested on his arms, Tala exhaled a quiet sigh as the doors opened for yet another visitor...The creak of cushions as the Tigress sat up should have been a giveaway that this person was of greater interest, but Tala ignored the man's clicking footsteps as he advanced towards the stairs before coming to a stop. "I see you have a new pet." his voice was like velvet, but with a hint of malice and Tala turned his head to look, wishing he hadn't as the sound of metal emerging from a sheath reached his ears. The chain suddenly pulled taut as the man wrapped it around his free hand before leaning forward and pinning the youth to the stairs, "Can I break him for you?" he pressed the blade of the dagger against Tala's cheek, lifting his eyes towards his Mistress who had sat forward on her throne. "Hmm..." The Tigress leant on her upturned palm, a clawed finger tapping against her lip as she considered whether or not to let her comrade disfigure her pet so early... "I guess I could let you borrow him for a while... I was getting hungry anyway." At that moment she clapped her hands, summoning forward an assistant who rushed to her side and crouched at her feet to await her command. "Fantastic!" sheathing the blade, the man backed off, giving Tala enough room to rise before practically dragging him down the stairs as the guards loosened the chain keeping him to one place. "Let's go have some fun...eh?" he held the chain up to allow Tala to struggle to his feet, then paused as he felt resistance. "I'm not going anywhere with you." Growling, Tala gripped the chain with both hands and leant back, drawing a breath as the man released his end of the chain before turning to watch as Tala fell backwards against the stairs. "Oh, I was hoping you'd resist." he smirked, cracking his knuckles as he stepped forward, "Niall...?" The Tigress drew the man's attention for a brief moment, allowing Tala to recover just enough to stand, "I'd rather not have to explain why there is blood on my carpet...""Of course Milady," The man bowed, then reached for the chain, the metal glancing past his hand as Tala yanked it away from his grip. He chuckled at this and pursued the chain, reaching for it again only to let out a hiss as the links lashed across the back of his hand leaving it red... "I'm going to enjoy breaking you." rubbing the sore, he straightened up, waving off the guards who had stepped forward to assist, "No blood. Right." Pinpointing his target, he slammed his fist into the ground, sending a shockwave towards the youth who leapt aside as a trail of floor tiles splintered upwards where he had been standing... "Entertainment...and a meal." The Tigress mused as her servant returned with food, "You're quick." Niall smirked, "But I'm in no mood for an extended fight..." He took a stance now and the lights began to flicker as the ground started to quake... "You're not going to destroy my throne room again...are you Niall?" Although amused, the Tigress's tone held a warning note to it, "Not entirely..." The man made a motion with his hands before lifting them skyward. Tala suddenly found himself with a Golem on either side. The mighty-stone atronachs closed in and Tala dropped to the ground as they collided above his head sending a shower of rubble across the floor... Now seeing a gap he scrambled for the clearing, curling back on himself as a mighty stone foot landed upon the chain and stopped his advance. "And now the finale!" Bringing his hands down, Niall sent the towering golems crashing down upon his victim. The cocktail stick that Tigress had been holding clattered to her plate as her mouth dropped wide, she hadn't expected that... "I said no Blood!" she snapped to her feet, fists clenched at her sides as she stormed down the steps towards the man, "If you've killed him I'll...!" She stopped as the lights began to flicker, lifting her gaze before glaring coldly at her comrade "You had better be quaking in your boots, because if that's a challenge...!""I'm terrified...but it's not my doing, Mistress..." both looked towards the pile of rubble. The room was silent, the lights ceased in their flickering but remained at a dim state, then, the sound of tiny rocks shuffling inside the pile sent an unnerving shiver down the pair's spines... A single rock toppled from the pinnacle of the pile, it bounced across the floor towards them before coming to a stop just metres away. Gently guiding his Mistress out of the line of fire, Niall stepped away from the Tigress, spreading his arms protectively as he waited in anticipation. In the seconds since that the first single rock fell, there was nothing, no movement, no sound, then with a roar a large beast of pure shadow erupted from the pile, lunging with pearly white fangs transfixed upon its target. Niall gave a grunt and formed a shield from the ground, deflecting the beast's initial blow before bringing the stone back round to protect himself as the creature snapped back for another bite. Retreating to the steps, the Tigress watched as the beast suddenly exploded apart to reveal the youth who pushed through to land a double-footed blow that sent Niall flying backwards. Springboarding off the man's chest, Tala flipped round, landing in a crouched position on the ground before charging forward as the man straightened up. "Niall!"Spying the blade in the youth's hands, Niall braced for impact, bringing his own arms up to deflect the blow as he formed stone gauntlets which protected him from the assault. Engrossed servants observed from the edge of the room as the youth went on the offensive, resisting the urge to cheer as Tala landed another attack before twisting away as the wall came up fast to meet them. "Stay Back!" Snapping as he spotted guards out of the corner of his vision, Niall formed a blade of his own, launching it at the retreating youth before cursing as he seemed to disappear. A sudden blow from his right flank knocked him sideways and the man staggered before twisting round as Tala appeared beside him and slammed him into the ground. "Useless..." Her faith no longer trusting her associate to endure the assault, the Tigress rose to her feet and rubbed the flat palms of her hands together. "This ends NOW!" She let out a scream and the lights crackled wildly with static before several huge bolts of lightning struck the ground around them. The pair were thrown apart and Niall skidded across the floor, landing safely at the base of the steps... Tala landed at the feet of the servants who skittered backwards nervously before clustering around as the youth attempted to rise. "Get up..." Hushed whispers urged him to rise and he felt a hand grace his back but his energy was sapped... He pushed himself up onto his side, darkening vision taking in the advancing Tigress with narrowed eyes. "It seems my General has good taste in pets." The Tigress gave a snarl which scattered the servants before reaching down and lifting the youth by the back of his robes. "I've changed my mind, you cannot have him." she dragged the exhausted youth back towards the stairs, setting the chain in its place beside her throne before retaking her seat. "Leave." Niall who looked more than a little worse for wear used the steps to push himself to his feet, bowing weakly to his Mistress before limping towards the large doors. The servants followed silently, sealing the exit behind them.

Silver narrowed his eyes hearing the name and his jaw tightened briefly. That was a name Fire had only said once and there had been talk before his escape about a Marshall having great skill in the upper ranks. He thought about his code name and real name. He glanced to Creed, narrowing his eyes before looking back to Cyrus while adjusting his jacket. "Just call me Sil." Silver stated cautiously.
"Nice to meet you." Silver bowed his head in return to be polite. He then looked and watched Creed, raising an eyebrow in watching this and sighed, rolling his eyes hearing the musical tone that Silver would call chipper. "The only guy I know that would sing about collecting blood." He wasn't shocked but still it was true. Even Fire wasn't so bad in her violent acts to get joy out of something like that.
Hearing Cyrus's words about where he's from and seeing his hand offered, the rebel leader reached out with the opposing hand and shook Cyrus's hand. "From a town that was annihilated in the explosion." Silver stated, not calling him out on having heard the name Marshall when he was a prisoner nor was he going to ask about if he knew anyone related to Viola or about if he knew anyone by the name of Lysin.
At the fortress the man had finished the mixings and preparing the rings. He turned and picked up one then the next, attaching two to her wrists, two to her upper arms, and one around her neck. He then stepped back and pressed a button in his pocket which caused all five to clamp shut start the injections.
Her eyes widened and mouth fell open gasping and there was silence before an ear piercing scream erupted in pain from her throat as her body felt like it was on fire. She tried to jerk free of the soldiers that held onto her, her body shaking and fidgeted, wanting it to end but it got worse.
She was released by the soldiers as her body crumpled over on itself, trying to contain her body that felt like it was starting to expand out and grow in size. Fur began to grow and form on her as she trembled, her arms flexing and pulled at the bracelets as her body changed, starting to smoke from all the heat growing inside her body.
She screamed again as her body shifted and her dace started to change as well, fangs forming as her screams mixed in with a roaring cry. The metal shatters off her arms, off one wrist and she rips the other off her neck. Her body stood tall as the soldiers fired, injuring her upper arms with two bullets each before they collapsed in fear under her loud shaking roaring cry.
Rosalie ran charging at the soldiers, swinging her larger hands with claws, slamming them hard and injuring while killing two out of the four. She then turned and ran, jumping over and out of the fortress grounds. Her body was larger, like that of a werewolf with a jackal, like a werejackal.
Her eyes were slit and narrowed as she ran through the city, sticking to back alleys, slowing down whimpering and whining as she held her head with her bloody claws. She was shaking in the dim lighting of street lamps.
The sound of a can being kicked then the sting of a rock being thrown and made her wince. She looked over slowly with a whimper to see four men in gear nearing drawing weapons. "What the heck is it ?" one asked.
"Who cares? Let's just kill it and maybe we can sell off parts of it or something to people in the market. Or if we can take it down right we could sell it as a piece to a circus or something." the second said, brandishing a blade.
Rosalie growled, glaring at them coldly with snarling to show off her rows of sharp teeth. Get away from me! she screamed in her mind crying as they attacked. Two with guns and two with blades.
At Creeds home in the office Sliver looked to the door confused, thinking he heard something. "Did either of you hear something?" the rebel leader asked looking to Cyrus and Creed.
Below their feet, Fire looked around to make sure Tool and Leaf fell asleep. She sighed and closed her cloak around her, drawing the hood up and was off. She made her way to a certain latter, climbed up and entered the surface carefully.
Fire looked around before making her way towards a section of the city that was almost was or seemed almost forgotten. She wanted to visit the remains of her old home, to see what still remained past all and any looters and thieves. She had been younger losing her parents then losing Lysin later but she didn't give up about Lysin. She kept hope alive inside he was alive somewhere in one of the five cities.
A loud echoing howl made her pause and look behind her as the wind blew. "Huh? A wolf?" she questioned quietly, feeling confused but shook it off and continued on her way. The young woman didn't stop until she came to the burned down remains of what once was a modest house. She stood still and stared down at the rubble left right where it had fallen.
Taking a deep breath she advanced and began to move around some of the debris to see what she could find, feeling curious and wanted something to pass the time. Fire had tried sleeping but couldn't get to sleep, nightmares of the past losing family then her friend and teacher had kept her awake. So she thought it couldn't hurt to go searching through something from her past, keeping her face hidden under her cloaks hood.

"He's certainly a strange one..." Cyrus mused, unfazed by the act after having grown quite used to Creed's approach on certain things a long while ago... He acknowledged Silver's apparent preference on abbreviating his name, but saw no need to push for his full identity - it wasn't his job anymore. "Don't go anywhere, I'll need to get him back outside in a minute." Ignoring their comments, Skylar drew another bag of blood before disappearing to store it in the coolers. Cyrus watched the scientist leave, then dropped his eyes, narrowing them slightly, "I'm sorry to hear about your town..." he was more than aware of the Owl's tyranny and hated that many innocents were injured or wrongfully accused under their reign, "But sadly there's nothing anyone can do about it..." he knew that was wrong, but could do no more than hope that it was only a matter of time before the rebellion found a foothold and clawed their way to victory... He frowned as thoughts and images flooded his mind, then something broke his concentration and he lifted his eyes as Silver drew attention to something. "What on earth was that?" Creed seemed to be wiping something from his hands when he returned, but rather than re-entering the office, he continued down the corridor to the fire escape at the end - depressing the handle before pushing open the door. A rush of air breezed into the office and Cyrus glanced to Silver before moving to investigate. Reaching the corridor, he turned to look ahead of him, spotting Creed standing stock still in the doorway. He opened his mouth to speak, but the man made a subtle motion with his hand for silence... ~*~*~ Tala awoke a few hours later with a groan... Sitting up, his back touched against a solid surface and he turned, attempting to draw away when he realised where he was, but finding a pressure upon his neck that restricted his motion more than a foot away... The Tigress sat upon her throne, her gaze momentarily flicking towards her 'Pet' before a smirk tweaked at the edges of her lips and she looked away once again. It didn't take Tala long to realise how close he was to her and forgetting about the chain, he attempted to rise and attack, finding to his dismay that the chain allowed him to rise only just above the arm of the throne before he came to an abrupt halt. Glancing down at the arm that clawed for traction at the edge of her throne, the Tigress gave a chuckle, "You didn't honestly think I'd sit you next to me without taking the precaution of shortening the chain...did you?" She watched as the hand disappeared with a growl and Tala slumped his back against the hard surface once more. Smiling, she leant to the side of her throne, draping an arm over the edge before brushing gentle fingers across the top of the youth's head. "You put on quite a show earlier..." she stopped petting as the youth dropped out of reach - refusing to allow her to pet him further, "I can do a lot more than that." Tala scowled, glaring up at her from where he now lay on the floor, "Which is why you should let me go."She chuckled, folding her arms before placing them across the arm of the throne and resting her chin on them as she continued to look down at her pet. "I'm sure you can...But I'm certain I won't." she smirked, "It's been a long time since I've seen someone wield such Darkness like you do..." she attempted to reach down for him, but Tala rolled as far away as the chain allowed him, "Who was your tutor?""I never had one." Tala shuffled forward a little so he had more room to move, but now sat cross-legged, his right hand pushed down on the chain to lessen the pull around his collar. "Then you have great skill to have mastered it so well." She realised touch wasn't an option at that moment in time and withdrew her arm, sitting, rested against the arm of the chair until the grand doors opened and a visitor arrived. Tala lifted his eyes as the Tigress disappeared from the arm of the throne, he could only assume she'd straightened up and sat properly - not wanting to be seen in such a relaxed state infront of those she deemed below her. The gentleman that had entered was of Noble Stock, well dressed with a Rapier blade on his belt and ruffles at certain segments of his attire. He held a jacket which was draped over his arm and approached with intent before bowing at the base of the steps. "Milady, I come with news from the eastern district..." he removed his plumed hat as he bowed - out of respect, "If it's another fight over fruit growers, then I shall not hear of it." Tigress frowned, preparing to wave him off as she leant an impatient elbow on the arm of her throne. "Actually, your Highness...I have received information about the forming of a small rebellion." he straightened up - as did she - before replacing his hat, "It seems some of your citizens believe you aren't deserving of your position, they feel whilst they work hard and are given no leniency in their taxes, you continue to languish in your luxurious lifestyle, sparing no concern for the suffering of your people...Even the Nobles are starting to question your methods as they too have noticed a lack of compassion towards their requests...""If I gave everyone relief on their taxes, then there would be uproar; collecting from the citizens keeps supplies coming in and equal opportunities for their trades which will diminish and the city would crumble!""Can't you do anything for them?" Rising as far as the chain would allow, Tala knelt up against the throne so he could see them both at once, "Surely allowing those most in need a couple of days to gather the necessary funding to pay would help lessen any mistrustful thoughts?" He sat back as the Tigress glared at him, "I've already told you about speaking out." She scowled from the corner of her eye, then looked to her guest as he cleared his throat, "The lad does have a point, Milady." he kept his eyes low, but locked his gaze with Tala briefly before continuing, "At the moment, your citizens feel that you care only for yourself and those close to your side, their taxes pay for the comfort of you and your court and although there are supplies coming in to maintain the city and it's economy, there is little compassion and sympathy towards the lesser folk which is causing them to doubt their faith in you...If they feel you are being more lenient on those higher up the ranks, then it will indeed cause uproar and your world will fall around your feet..."Tigress stifled a growl as she listened, it felt to her that she was being told off for doing what felt necessary...but then again... "What would you have me do?" she looked downhearted, but then held out her left hand, palm down. Tala looked at the hand as it hung there, then swallowed his pride and leant his head against it, shutting his eyes as her fingers started to stroke through his hair... "Summon the veterans who sought out your assistance Milady, give them a little longer to gather what they need and when they see you can be compassionate to their troubles, then perhaps those doubting you will forget their thoughts of rebellion and settle back into their lives...""If you think that will stay their hand..." The Tigress nodded, drawing her left arm back before calling an assistant forward to take note and prepare the letters for immediate sending. "Don't give anything away, just ensure those summoned arrive promptly in the morning." she waved the guest and assistant away, then sat back on her throne with a sigh... "I bet my Father never had this much trouble maintaining a city..." she exhaled a sigh, then looked down at Tala who was sitting quietly beside the throne. "I won't warn you again about speaking out of turn." she narrowed her eyes, then her expression relaxed, "But I will make a note to lengthen your chain a loop or two before when I get the chance... she didn't smile, but Tala knew she was grateful and nodded, sitting back against the side of the throne to leave her in as much peace as he could allow.

Silver nodded sighing. Cyrus was right and he was trying with his small group but it was hard. The Owl's had so much military force and that wasn't counting in their own magic they themselves wielded. It was not something normal people could do and those who could only could because they were labrats for the Owls. Normally those rats didn't escape. Fire was the only exception to that rule.
She somehow inherited her magic from her parents that were escaped rats. How she inherited the magic was unclear to him but it made her rare, unique, and not someone he could afford to lose. She was too valuable for that and for the fact she could breath and use both fire and ice, two elements that normally opposed the other drastically but did not for her.
Silver turned his head to look at Creed then looked to Cyrus, watching Cyrus follow Creed and he too decided to follow and see what was going on. He stepped softly as he looked out. He was silent, holding his tongue as he watched how still Creed was. This confused him and also worried him because normally Creed wasn't that stiff or appeared to be cautious.
Below them out of those twos sights was Rosalie still in the form of a beast. She tore apart the four men's bodies until they were unrecognizable and just a mess of blood and some flesh thrown here and there. She tore into their bodies like a hungry beast, the animal part of her mind still the main one in control.
When the door opened her jackal ears twitched and she let a deep throated growl escape past her sharp teeth to vibrate some of her lips. Her body tensed as she heard them and caught the noise of faint breathing, as well as their scent. She first caught Creeds smell then two others. She slowly shifted her eyes to look back and started to carefully stand, dropping the bloody and mangled body of one of the four she had been feasting on and swallowed.
She slowly took a few steps around, looking about and sniffing the area to make it look like she didn't realize she was being watched but knew she was under sight. There was silence which inside confused Silver as he moved closer to try and see what was going on. His stomach felt twisted and his body tensed, not having a good feeling about this.
The beast took off down the alleyway, appearing to fade from sight and left a very unsettling silence. Suddenly she ran up and jumped, releasing a powerful cry as she jumped up landing hard on the metalwork and made her fast asscent up and straight at Creed, Cyrus, and Silver. She had bared her sharp and bloody teeth with bloody sharp claws. She gave another powerful snarling growl with a roar as she charged and reached out to get her claws on Creed.
What she hadn't planned was for her claws to come so close to touching her prey before the door was so abruptly shut in her face. She let out a frustrated noise and slammed her fists hard on the door, causing Silver to jump back and stare in wide eyed fear. "What the freaking hell was that?!" Silver asked in clear shock and fear as he hadn't seen a beast like that or that size before in the canine family that was.
The pounding just freaked him out more as he stepped back seeing small caving in in spots from the punching and pounding fists. There was silence then a slam as she had slammed her shoulder into the door hard, making it nearly come off the hinges but it held. She snorted and howled out in anger that her prey was was not hers to devour.
Then she released a noise like a whine or cry that a dog makes when it knows it's done something bad or is sad or hurt. She looked down sadly, the human side retaining a life inside her was crying Please! Help me! Please.....stop me.... she sobbed inside her mind, wanting this nightmare to stop. She still wore the dress given to her by the maid that was most likely now dead.
It was torn around the legs and the neck part but it still held onto her form. She slammed her head against the door, whining again and whimpering. Trying to speak to beg for help before pushing off and jumping down, taking off to find some other prey to hunt. The blood lust in her was growing and it felt like darkness was closing in on her. As she left them in silence a syringe had fallen out of her metal bracelet still attached to her one wrist.
If the door was opened the syringe would be there in sight with some of the liquid residue left inside with the broken needle on the end. Her transformation was incomplete since she had broken free before all the mixture could be injected by the needles that hit her neck, upper right arm and her wrist that held the bracelet. She had broken the connection to the controls the scientist had held somehow. How she did she had no idea.
Rosalie continued on her way, searching for prey, sniffing the air and the ground, searching and hunting down her next target. Dashing along the street then down another side street she caught the scent of someone and it peeked her interest. She inhaled deeply to take it in before then checking the air, closing her eyes to focus better.
Her tail was slow as she stood on her hind legs, the werewolf aspect of her jackal humanoid form. Her tail was still then it slowly started to move to one side then the other as she started to hone in on the one scent. Her ears twitched listening as well to try and find herself this meal.
Her body took off once she was satisfied she'd located it securely enough to keep it with eyes opened. She followed the smell, Fire's smell. Most people were inside due to the bad looking weather of the sky. It normally did look bad weather related but there had been rumors on the radio for weather of another storm sweeping across and heading towards their way.
Fire stood after searching through the remains and found herself an old photograph that was burned but had saved it out of its shattered glass. She also had found a necklace that she recalled being her mothers. On one side it 'the coldest ice' and on the other said 'is drawn to the warmest fire.' a thing her parents said to describe their relationship since they had magic that was opposite of the other.
She sighed and pocketed the items, looking more for something else if she could find anything. She felt a chill run down her spine though and she looked around after standing upright. She felt she wasn't alone anymore and it frightened her. With very cautious movement in the almost abandoned part of the city she looked around with narrowed eyes. The young woman held her tongue, her body tensed. It felt time to go.
Taking a step then another to exit the remains she paused, hearing the crunch of stone and looked around to see a large shadow move out of sight. This was not something she enjoyed. Carefully she reached under her cloak to her gun, holding its handle as she carefully made her way away from the remains of the building to try and make it back to the manhole cover to go back to the hideout.
Her body didn't untense as she kept moving. A deep growling came to her ears and made her turn, releasing a scream when she saw brightly glowing yellow slit eyes and to see them rise higher, looking maybe around six foot to seven foot did not help any. Drawing her gun as she stepped back and opened fire, turning her back on the beast as it roared out as one bullet missed and another hit the shoulder.
Rosalie gave chase, seeing this as a thrill of the hunt. She ran after Fire, howling out as Fire ran. "I'm not becoming mutant dog chow!" she said through tight teeth under her breath, glancing back and turned, taking different streets around to try and lose the beast without much success, turning to fire off a bullet or two at times but it didn't slow down the monster.
She didn't want to use her new bullets yet but was debating on using one of the ice bullets to make an escape. First she had to make sure the beast would not go to the more populated area's of Delta. She didn't want any of them to become chow either, even if some of them deserved it. She had to think of something while she handled the ice bullet in one hand, messing with it in her fingers, debating and fired the last round in the gun of normal bullets out at the monster, missing.
Fire then jumped up between to buildings to get onto a stone roof and stumbled, rolling to a stop and stood. She loaded the bullet with ice explosion attached to it into the weapon and tried to think of a good spot to fire it at. She had to pick right or she was done for as she knew she could only run for so long. The beast caught up, climbing up with claws into the building and jumped up, coming down and missing Fire as she jumped back.
Fire turned, racing off and jumped off the building, rolling and kept running with Rosalie on her heels. She started to think more of if to fire it into the beasts face or the ground or somewhere on the monsters body. She had no idea what was best to also assure it wasn't going to take off into a populated part of the city where things were better or newer built to be more secure structures.

Skylar gave a squeal of horror as the creature suddenly turned and lunged towards them. Without truly thinking for his own preservation, he clamped his eyes shut and threw his hands up futilely to protect his face from the advancing claws...luckily, Cyrus was more reactive and grabbed the scientist by the back of the labcoat, yanking him backwards before gripping the pull bar of the door and slamming it closed - just in the nick of time. The hunter kept a firm grip on the door bar as the beast proceeded to pound upon the exterior, Creed watched from behind as the door started to buckle inwards, quietly muttering to himself on survival percentages before tilting his head as he listened, trying to decipher the creature's type and the thundering stopped... "I think it's gone...?" Cyrus turned back to face the pair before drawing away from the door as a final slam pushed the top away from the frame... The trio waited in silence. A final yowl of anguish seemed to be the final note as the beast dispersed... Cyrus breathed a sigh and leant back against the wall, stiffening as Skylar suddenly rushed forward, pushing the bar down before exiting out into the centre of the alleyway. "It's gone?" He sounded almost disappointed, but dropped down to the ground, snatching up an object which he turned in his hands before glancing back at the pair who seemed to hesitate in the doorway, "I think this monster was created." he held up the syringe for them to see before noting a tiny droplet of serum sticking to the interior wall. His eyes seemed to brighten at this and he pushed his way past the pair and rushed inside and towards his office. Cyrus glanced towards Silver, then followed after the scientist, it certainly wouldn't have surprised him if the creature had been produced in a laboratory...but that would mean experiments were starting up again...and he didn't like the sound of that. ~*~*~ Tala spent the night beside the throne. It became apparent that as a pet, he had few rights...but at least the Tigress had kept her word. The chain, although still restricting gave him more space to move and in turn, a slightly better chance of getting comfortable. It wasn't so easy to settle down however and he spent much of the night trying to find a good position to lie in. Eventually, early in the morning, he gave up. Sitting up against the throne, Tala drew his knees up to his chest and lifted his gaze to the ceiling. After a moment longer, he decided to practise his abilities, drawing on the darkness and forming a small mote between his fingers. It was small and somewhat furry but as Tala started to work the mote it started to take on the form of a small butterfly, its wings then expanding and warping into the shape of a bat, before eventually taking on the appearance of a bird. The raven flapped its wings, holding them high as though showing them off before suddenly disappearing as something broke Tala's concentration. "You amaze me every time I see you." The Tigress closed the doors behind her and advanced, dropping to her knees as she reached the stairs before taking a seat on the top step. "Can you do anything else?" She recalled the little fight from earlier, but at that moment in time, she wasn't that overly interested in that. "Too much makes me tired." Tala kept his gaze on her - still somewhat mistrustful, especially as he was still her 'Pet'... "Can you show me?" There was a hint of interest in her voice, "...If you're not too tired?" She tilted her head slightly, even pushed a smile which seemed to relax the youth a little as he nodded. Drawing her knees up, she shuffled closer, wrapping an arm around her legs as she waited patiently for him to start.

Silver slowly crept forwards into the doorway and peeked out, looking down after Creed and his face fell. He saw what Creed had and heard the tone his voice. This wasn't good. He knew he had been tested on but if they were doing things like turning people into monsters, Silver shivered at the thought. "This isn't good." Silver commented and moved back inside as Skylar hurried to his office. "Dragon must be wanting to accomplish something beyond making entertaining puppets...." he whispered softly under his breath in fear.
The rebel leader shook his head and to clear his mind and turned his attention on the scientist. "What's the plan Skylar?" he was ready to go searching thinking then thought to suggest him going out ahead of them. "You want me to search from above to head out early?"
He wouldn't push the matter but figured he could cover ground by teleporting though he knew he had his limits. When he got the order for them to go ahead and Skylar would catch up as he wanted to see what the serum was. Silver moved out the door, onto the metal and jumped up onto the metal railing taking a breath and sighed. He looked to Cyrus as he saw he followed. "I'll take search from the roofs and you the ground. We'll keep each other posted."
Silver would wait until he got a reply or a confirmation to this plan before jumping off the metal railing and teleporting onto the next rooftop. At this point he didn't think it mattered to hide the fact he could teleport. Just knowing Skylar had to be a clue to Creed he wasn't something not having something to do with the Owls.
He kept on the move, having a higher vantage point he moved, switching between teleporting and running. He hoped to find it. It would be farther into the town towards one side of the city minutes later that he heard a howl and gunfire. "This way!" Silver ordered, leading the way to where he saw movement around a rooftop.
He frowned then looked to the hunter. "I'll go ahead, keep going this way to the dead district." Silver ordered before he would teleport again and start quickening his pace towards the scene as the large form after the human one jumped down off the rooftop.
Silver was hoping that person wasn't one of his own. Then again he knew Fire and how she didn't listen but inside he hoped so badly that this one time she did listen. Doubtful but hopeful at the same time.
At this time Fire was hiding against the side of a building, Rosalie slowly walking and sniffing, looking around and the young woman feeling like she was in some kind of horror flick. She now was thinking to ask Tool and Leaf to come up with an earpiece for her so she can get backup. She wouldn't have called on them anyways, they not being fighting type like her but she would have loved to call Silver. Though if she were to call him she'd have to have a good reason to back up her leaving the base when she was told to stay put.
The beast snarled, moving and sniffing then darted as Fire released a sharp yelp as the beast got her arm lightly with its claws. She hissed holding her arm where the cloak had been cut and her arm was lightly bleeding. "Stupid mutt. Where the heck did this thing come from?" she asked as the monster was coming down the side street.
Silver came to rest atop of a roof and looked down, seeing Fire's cloak and sighed as he used his glasses to see in the dark shadows and shook his head. "I hate that she doesn't listen." he groaned, moving down and fired his gun into its face before charging and slamming a kick into Rosalie's face.
The beast yelped with a high pitched cry as it stumbled over from the shots and the kick to the muzzle. Silver turned to Fire glaring as he put his glasses up. "What are you doing?!"
"I wanted to check for-" she began but was cut off.
"Nevermind! I know I left word that you and Tool were to stay home!" Silver snapped.
"But!" Fire tried to counter but the beast began to rise so she grabbed Silver and ran. He teleported them to another alleyway. Silver glared at Fire who looked at her gun and to him. "Got any backup coming?" she asked.
"Just one." he answered quietly as the beast was hunting for them.
"Can that backup take on a beast if its dazed?" she asked getting a confused look from Silver. "I got a new bullet from Tool. It makes ice."
Silver nodded and let Fire go, moving and ordered her to head down a different alleyway that was nearer to Cyrus but enough distance that he could get Fire away before she could be spotted. That was his plan.
Rosalie sniffed searching then picked up on the running and charge, chasing Fire. At the right time Fire fired the bullet and shot ice to cover some of the alleyway. She started to slide but was grabbed and moved out of the way by Silver. The beast whined and cried out sharply as she tried to stop on the ice but slid, slamming into the reinforced wall hard, causing it to lay still as its head spun with ears ringing.
Silver took Fire to a cover and put her down. "Get going now back to base. Stay there until I return." He snapped his order and she nodded, going and darting underground into the sewers.
Silver sighed glad and could hear footsteps and he ran out to locate Cyrus, seeing the beast was trying to collect itself and trying to get up on the ice only to keep falling back down. For now while the ice was there it was going to, or should stay put. That was what he hoped anyways.
When he could find Cyrus he'd sigh out of breath from the warping with Fire had taken more stamina than he thought would. "This way," he said moving to the alleyway to where the beast was growling and lifting its head, shaking it hard to try and make the ringing stop, even reaching up to hold its ears as the ringing wasn't stopping yet.

Tala started off small, much like he'd done to begin with before. The tiny sprite started to grow, bubbling as it started to take shape. He glanced back at the Tigress as she watched intently, her mouth opening slightly as the sprite molded into a small mouse-like shape, ever growing as it took on its next form. The mouse grew long ears that spiked upwards, its body thickened into that of a rabbit, holding its form once again before Tala moved to lean forward. "Wait...!" She held out her hand to stop him before it grew any further, "I wish to spar." her mind had changed and now she pondered how long she could push him...she reached for his hand, rising to her feet and pulling him to his own. "I'm not sure..." he fell silent as she released his collar from its chain. "Come on, nobody will disturb us." there was something in her smile, but Tala followed her into the centre of the room, "Besides...I want to try something." She released his hand and moved a little bit further before turning back, "Are you ready?"Tala could already feel the static in the room and remembered the jolt he'd received from her before... "...Not really." He started to consider using the moment to make a break for it, but knew it wouldn't get him past the doorway. "Don't be a wimp." Tigress smirked, lifting her arms slightly and allowing static to form around her fingers, "Form your little monster thingies...I fancy a little target practise."Tala didn't like the sound of that, but as long as he wasn't going to be the target, what harm would it do? He started to create a small orb, weaving it between his hands before throwing it skyward and watching with a gasp as it exploded above his head...She was fast. "Again!"Not wanting to disappoint her, he formed another, then two more, twisting them around his arms this time before throwing them in opposing directions. The first, which flew towards her, exploded as he'd expected, the second and third twisted away, taking the shape of foxes before darting in a circular trail around the room. She seemed to relish in the act of trying to zap the fleeting creatures, eventually catching them with a bolt of lightning which shot from the lights. "Too easy!" she sneered, "Give me something stronger!""I'm not sure I can..." He lied... "But I'll try." He threw up a handful of orbs, they spun in the air above him before shooting across to the corners of the room and taking shape. These new beasts weren't the pleasing dark-dwellers one would find in the night, no, they were spined abominations with dripping fangs and rattling hisses...Yet they were still somewhat small in stature. He watched her frown, forming a small ball in his hands as he observed her in her attempt to contend with the new enemies. In his mind he began formulating a plan - it was highly unlikely that he'd be able to escape, but if he could at least get a few hits in, he might just be in with a chance. Tigress was breathing hard, she was enjoying her battle but something felt odd... "You're holding back, aren't you?" she turned to face him before narrowing her eyes as she spotted the small dark orb he was twisting between his fingers. "Am I?" he smirked, forming several more tiny orbs before slamming the largest into the ground. It shot upward and enveloped him as a large wolf-like creature burst though the floor. "Damnit! That's Not part of the game!" she snarled, expelling the smaller creatures before bracing herself as the wolf touched down before her... "Well...you wanted to fight..." Tala's voice had darkened, "...Show me what you've got!" claws scraping along the floor he started towards her, twisting round as she leapt away from his charge. "I never should have let you off!" realising the error brought on by her softened heart towards him, she formed a blade out of a lightning bolt and turned round to face him as he started towards her again. "Expect the full force of my power!" She leapt high as he lunged, large white fangs snapping past her legs as he tried to catch her. The ceiling seemed to crackle with energy and as she lifted her blade up, it formed into one mighty shaft of lightning which shot down towards him. Instead of panic, Tala's eyes narrowed and the wolf opened wide its jaws as the bolt shot down its throat. The darkness separated away from the light as the lightning held its course... Tigress landed a few feet away, bracing for impact as the air pressure inside the room left her ears throbbing. She shielded her eyes as the wolf lost its shape - bubbling as though fighting the electricity that was coursing through its insides... She wasn't sure if she heard a scream, but as the mass started to convulse in mid-air, she started to realise she'd made a big mistake... "...Tala?"Finally the mass took shape, a mighty-scaled neck emerged from the orb followed by a maw filled with razor sharp fangs...Huge wings emerged next as four large, clawed feet thundered into the floor... Tigress took a step backwards to avoid a lashing tail as the dragon spread its midnight-black wings wide and turned to face her. Static flickered across its mighty wings and as its eyes narrowed, she drew a breath, "That's...how did you...?" she felt the crackle of her own energy as the dragon opened its maw and summoned forth the lightning bolts which struck the ground all around the room... "Stop this!" she tried to bend the light, calling it towards her but finding the power no longer hers... "Guards!" Panic overtook her and she ran for her throne, diving aside as the dragon sent a bolt of lightning towards her. It was too much...he felt the power, but it was too strong... Inside the spirit of the beast, Tala held his head and let out a scream as he felt his own control start to falter... The darkness was taking over...but he couldn't let it...He wouldn't!The lightning was grounded by the throne, but as the beast pushed forward, Tigress was forced to leap aside or be crushed by the mighty bulk of the beast as it slammed into the stairs... "Keep Running!""Help Me!" Spying armed guards flooding into the room, Tigress clambered for safety, watching in horror from behind her men as the Dragon spun round, snapping at the guards whilst dashing the unwary into the walls with its whip-like tail... "What have I done...?" She'd never begun to think that he could steal her power - let alone use it like his own! Her mind started to throw up questions of his origins before General Leen had found him, but she wasn't given the chance as the hulking form leapt for her once again... The walls of her throne room crumpled as the Dragon forced its way skyward, crashing through the ceiling with an array of spears and guards hanging from its body as the terror flew up into the darkened, thunderous sky... Inside, Tala was trying to take back control, drawing on what power he had to try and take over... Lightning exploded around the beast and a bolt plunged back towards the castle as something before his eyes ignited the darkness within... Tala extended his hands towards the tiny, illuminate orb, gingerly holding his fingers towards the light before withdrawing as it started to grow...enveloping him.Turning to the horizon the dragon started towards the distant hills, getting only a few kilometres before suddenly letting out a roar as something burned it from the inside... In mid-air it twisted, spiralling at an angle towards the ground. Those watching from inside the city would have seen a black shape - trailing what looked like starlight - shooting across the sky before disappearing far into the outlands... The mass fell miles from the city, leaving a large churned trail as it crashlanded into the undergrowth below... Tigress would send her men after it, but Tala was nowhere to be found... ~*~*~ "Just get out and find that thing." More intent on deciphering the source of the serum, Creed waved Silver off, commanding Cyrus to join him as he needed silence whilst he worked on finding out what ingredients had gone into the mixture. There would be little he could do with the creature should they catch it, but he knew another individual whom he would call shortly before getting down to business... "Well...If you're happy to..." Cyrus wasn't surprised when Silver disappeared upon his agreement, he had after all seen more than his fair share of strange abilities in his time... Wasting little time, the hunter started his search from the ground, following the male's orders as he directed him towards their target. Cyrus would be unaware of Fire's presence, but would continue his pursuit until Silver returned to direct him towards the scene... He had to wonder where the ice had come from when he arrived, but with the beast seemingly recovering from a nasty impact, he took cover and turned his gaze towards Silver. "You got a plan?" still playing the 'not-a-soldier' card, Cyrus wondered if the male had any ideas before he would offer his own. Already, he was scrutinizing his location, trying to scratch up a plan that might help them detain the beast so they could bring it back to Creed...

Rosalie was starting to stand but slipping though was catching herself now so not to hit her head. Silver watched this not sure what they should do. "We need to either stun it, knock it out, or somehow trap it somewhere in something we can use to take back to Creed." He spoke in a whisper looking around then at Rosalie again.
He truly had no plan and wasn't considering using the old buildings at this point because he was partly hoping Creed would show up and be able to take down the beast easily. Silver didn't want to kill it yet didn't really have anything for stunning things. He also had no plans to answer honestly about the ice if asked and would think up a story later if it came into question.
He started to draw his gun looking as he moved slowly. "We need to keep it in this area first off. A lot of people left here so it's the best place to keep it from taking anymore lives. Next I'm open to suggestions. Right now, my own plan is to assault it until it passes out or submits." Silver kept his focus on the beast as it was starting to move and pull its hind legs off the ice by using its claws to pull and get off the slippery surface.
In the vicinity was a half open door of a large parking garage. The stone and metal building had columns that were still standing but no vehicles unless they were ones that owners decided to abandon there.
Rosalie's ears twitched as she listened, a low quiet growl vibrated from her throat as she snarled, getting to her feet. She sniffed and could smell her first prey was gone but caught the scent of two new targets. The beast slowly shifted before moving to one side then charged at Silver and Cyrus.
Silver moved to the side, getting her to chase him. She swung her claws at the rebel leader, missing as he teleported into the air, coming down shooting it in the shoulder before kicking it back in the chest. He came down and jumped back as she charged forwards with a sharp growl, moving quickly after him.
The beast attacked two more times with Silver leaping back, getting it into the street and fired another bullet into its thick hide on its chest but it kept moving, slamming its arm into Silver throwing him over. She moved like she was going to keep focus on him but turned and charged at Cyrus, his scent interesting her more than the teleporter.
She picked up scents that made her curious as she neared carefully with her body tensing and her body flexed, pushing the three bullets out to let them clink on the ground. The beast bared her fangs, eyeing Cyrus and charged, lunging and swinging one of her claws at him with a rough noise exiting her throat.
Fire returned to the base after a time she found it and sighed, making her way to her room and sat down before laying back on the bed. She relaxed, closing her eyes for some moments before opening them and pulled out the necklace and picture out of her pocket, staring at the old photograph. She softly smiled as she saw the old faces of smiles.
"...Miss you both. Bet you're happy together though." She whispered softly to the picture and lowered it down to rest it upside down on her chest before holding up the necklace and watched it turn left and right gently. She was hoping Silver was alright but felt sure he could handle himself or would have help set up to help him out.

Cyrus stiffened as the creature leapt for him, but rather than leaping aside, he dodged the blow and pushed forward, diving beneath the legs of the beast and coming up safely on the other side. "This way Beastie!" he spun round just long enough to ensure it had heard him before planning his next move on the spot. Should Rosalie follow, he would start deeper into the Dead District, hoping to lead the creature towards somewhere they could temporarily seal her away, but should she ignore his move, or perhaps not realise where he may have disappeared to, he would take up a handful of small rocks and rubble and begin casting it in her direction - With an Elite's Aim, he would hit his target the majority of times, with a few misses as even Elites weren't always perfect. ~*~*~ The world around him was dark when Tala awoke, his head ached and as he pushed himself to his feet, it lurched dangerously to the side making him stumble. A nearby tree stopped him from hitting the ground, but as he used it to straighten up, he realised he was not in the Dangu any longer... Shaking what felt like the remnants of static from his right hand, he started to survey the scene. His eyes widened at the length of trench that had been cut out along the hillside from his fall, he was almost in awe at how much destruction had been caused...by him? He recalled how he'd formed the dragon around himself, relishing in its power and how it had scared the Tigress...then he turned his head away as he recalled how he'd lost control... His mind lightly touched on the memory of a white light, but the sound of movement and voices set him on edge and he stumbled for cover, lying low as several men in Dangu uniforms pushed through the undergrowth. "I thought she'd be glad to be rid of him." the first muttered, using his halberd as a walking cane as his feet struggled for traction in the mud, "After what he did to her castle, I'd just leave him to the Wilds.""What you seem to forget is how powerful he was." the second cuffed his comrade in the shoulder, "Just think of what she could achieve if she could harness that power?"The third man remained silent, he ducked down as though inspecting the trench for any sign the youth had survived, then straightened up. "Nothing..." Tala couldn't see his face, but assumed he'd frowned at this point, dropping into the trench before following it to the final resting point. Tala observed the group for a little longer, then stiffened as the third man seemed to turn towards him before waving the others to follow. "Damnit...!" He took a step back, trying to draw up any power he could, the trees around him rustled for a moment, then fell silent. "C'mon...!" Hushed curses left his lips and he lifted his gaze as the group advanced towards his position. He had to do something and fast! He attempted another step back and fell, the impact with the foliage beneath him turned the group straight towards his position and they quickened their advance until they were virtually upon him. Hands reached through the undergrowth, grasping for him before finding the chest of his shirt. With a yelp, Tala reached forward, clamping his hands onto the man's shoulders before sending a jolt of electricity, strong enough to stun, through the soldier's body. The hands dropped him and Tala rolled, scrambling to his feet before darting up the hillside. The men had paused momentarily to ensure their comrade was alright before giving pursuit. Certain that the Tigress's power should have left him by now, Tala continued to run, the shadows finally gathering and morphing his form into that of a black-furred fox. Curses and shouts reached his ears, but he continued to run, not glancing back until he could hear them no longer... Only then did he break form, the shadows falling from his body as he released them. He stumbled through the undergrowth for some time after that, until eventually a thicket offered him shelter from prying eyes and he went to ground. There was no knowing how long it would take for the men to find him, but he hoped that fate would allow him just a moment of rest before he would need to move on once again...

Rosalie turned her attention to Cyrus with a grunt as he called out. She snarled some drool falling as she charged, chasing after the former Elite solder, grunting and howling as she got hit by some of small rocks. She picked up speed racing after him on all fours before jumping and swinging her hand out and down aiming to hit him if she could. If she'd miss then she would continue chasing after her target.
The metal cuff was still on her wrist as she kept her focus on him.
Silver groaned getting up with a stumble and looked in time to see her vanish into the Dead District. He shook his head and took a breath sighing and ran after them, teleporting once then twice as he chased after to try and decide what he could do to help.
He searched, looking around as he ran down a side street frowning and quickly darted inside a cracked open door inside of a warehouse. He looked around as he was feeling tired from the teleporting he had been doing. He looked at the stone and metal framing and the thick walls of concrete. "It could work..." he whispered to himself before looking at the bent metal doors that lead in.
If they opened them there was no promise that it would reclose from there so maybe getting her to race in from the door or another side door would be best so they wouldn't need to guard a garage door sized opening. "Worth a shot." He muttered then found another door on the other side of the semilarge room with crates and other empty things left behind.
Silver ran out of the building by the door he entered, making his way to go and try to get Cyrus's attention in case he hadn't seen it or for them to try and get on the same page. Silver didn't do his teleporting as he wanted to save what stamina he had left. "Cyrus! This way!" he shouted out from another street as he ran to try and keep up or get in front, wanting to lead Cyrus to the warehouse.
If he got Cyrus's attention then he'd lead the way to the building that was well in the Dead District.
Fire fell asleep with the pendent and picture on her chest, held close to herself as she slept soundly with half her body off the bed.
Leaf had woken up and was getting a snack before reading again as he waited for Silver. It had been longer than normal but he was trying to chalk that up to visiting his friend or whatever he was doing.
Rosalie would move and charge following the pair if Cyrus followed Silver and if not she would chase after Silver who ran towards the warehouse he had found and hoped would work for containment. She would chase either both or Silver and howl loudly as she ran and was drooling wanting something to eat. She snapped her fangs at Silver, nicking his good arm as he ran and dodged, rolling and got inside the building.
He teleported out and slammed the door fast panting and yelped as Rosalie started to pound on the door he was at and holding it in place wincing some with each blow pounding against his back.
"There's two doors." Silver said softly if Cyrus were to ask or wonder if he was outside and if not and was inside Rosalie would go after Cyrus if he were inside, her body moving fast then slow and calculating as she snarled, looking around the building with anger and growing frustration.

Cyrus's eyes widened as Rosalie snapped around to face him, then they narrowed as he realised his plan to draw her away was working. He quickly spun 180 degrees and started to run towards the Dead District hoping she would follow. He was quite amazed at how swift the creature was and would stumble as she rose above him, barely avoiding her large clawed hand which glanced across the back of his coat. Hearing Silver's shout, he set his trajectory towards the male's voice and put on a burst of speed when he spotted him in the next street. "You found somewhere?" catching up to the male he didn't expect an answer and instead followed Silver towards a building in the distance. Reaching the warehouse, Cyrus would twist off to the side as soon as they passed through the door, watching as the beast continued her pursuit of the male who he presumed would inevitably disappear from view. It had been years since he'd felt the rush of adrenaline that he would get from a Monster hunt...and it was only now that he realised how much he'd missed it. He watched as Rosalie pounded upon the door which had slammed shut, stopping any further advances, she was a powerful beast and now that he had the opportunity, he could see small metallic attachments that would confirm Creed's suspicions... Rosalie appeared to be rather preoccupied with the door which he could only assume Silver was behind, at least that was until the sound of a cheap, yet quirky ringtone reached his ears and he glanced down towards his waist... Snatching the mobile from the pouch on his belt, Cyrus's eyes flicked towards the beast which seemed to have reacted to the noise and paused in its assault of the door... "Really bad timing Creed...!" he hissed, watching as Rosalie started to turn, her ears twitching as he tried to soften his voice, "Ah! So you do know how to answer a phone then?" Cyrus winced as he realised the man was on loudspeaker and hastily attempted to find the one-to-one caller, but to no avail... "I've found your position on my map, so when you have the beast contained, text your coordinates to this number and they'll send someone your way."Realising Rosalie had spotted him, the phone slipped from the Hunter's hand and Cyrus spun round, gripping the handles of both doors before pulling them shut behind him. He was more than grateful that the doors had opened inwards and wasted little time in wrapping a chain tightly around the bars before stepping back as the beast started to claw at the metal on the other side... It didn't take him long to realise that the phone hadn't made it out through the doors with him, but as Creed had managed to place the phone on him - which Cyrus intended to have a word about later on - then it wouldn't be long before someone came to find them...if the Scientist hadn't assumed they were all dead and had left the beast to continue ravaging the district. "Is anyone there?" The phone would lie just inside the closed doors, still on loudspeaker and with Creed now muttering to himself, "I can hear snarling...Oh I do hope it hasn't killed you, who will I use for my experiments now?" there would be the sound of rustling as though he was moving papers around a desk, then he would continue speaking, "I guess I should send those coordinates out anyway...Never know...They might still find her...Now where did I put that...hmm..." The phone would eventually sign off with a click, but if Rosalie had heard the voice, she might just have been momentarily intrigued by the sound? ~*~*~ "Got You!" Jolted awake by a hand gripping the back of his jacket and dragging him from the thicket Tala gave a snarl as he was held high off his feet by the soldier who had captured him before... "Thought you'd escaped didn't ya, Runt?""Leave me alone!" Letting out a grunt as he was pushed back against a tree, Tala reached out to grab the man's arms like had in their previous scuffle, willing him to burn from the insides out...but the electricity never came and instead, the soldier started to laugh. "I've seen your kind before, Kid." the man mused, "Power-stealers never keep their ability long before it fades and unluckily for you, it's long gone." He turned his head away as Tala attempted to strike him, thrusting the youth back against the tree again before throwing him to the ground at the feet of his comrades. "Tie him up.""...But Virgil." The men were still somewhat nervous of the youth, glancing up at the third soldier before swallowing their fear and moving in to detain him. Although slightly winded by the assault, Tala attempted to scramble to his feet, wincing as he felt the weight of both men upon his back pushing him into the ground; gloved hands reached for his arms, dragging them behind his back before grasping again as he broke free of their grip. "Stop messing around and Tie him up already!" Virgil moved forward, pushing the first man aside with a rough palm to the face before gripping the back of Tala's jacket. The youth swung round, landing a blow to Virgil's face as he rolled onto his back, kicking the second soldier between the legs before punching upwards in the hopes of connecting with Virgil's face once again... Angered, the third soldier who now seemed to be the leader blocked Tala's hit and gripped his wrist, snarling as Tala drew it down and away before lunging through with his other fist. "Damnit!" Taking the hit, Virgil caught the youth's newly offending wrist before reaching again for the other, taking a knee to the gut as his now incapacitated comrade fell away from the youth and curled up with a whimper on the ground beside the scuffling pair... "Sir, Here." There was a voice from above as the first soldier dangled a rope beside them, but it was quickly whipped away as something gave a roar and leapt from the undergrowth towards them. Virgil suddenly found himself barrelled aside and rolled several feet before skidding to his knees as their new assailant stepped over the youth who scrambled to his feet and took cover in the thicket. The first soldier gave a squeal as the man who towered a good foot or two above them swung his weapon between his mighty hands before launching it at the tree... It wedged into the bark just inches above the first soldier's head and the man dropped to the ground before scrambling to his feet and making a run for it. The second soldier who was still recovering from Tala's assault to his family's jewels rolled onto his front and attempted to crawl into the undergrowth whilst Virgil rose to his feet and went for his gun. "Don't you think for a second you're taking my Prisoner without a fight!"In silence, the behemoth of a man took a step to his right, snatching his axe from the tree before setting it on his belt as he advanced towards the soldier who now unleashed several bullets towards his enemy. Tala watched from the safety of the thicket as the bullets seemed to ricochet off the man's chest, hitting the surrounding trees and earth before it seemed Virgil's clip was empty... The soldier gave a snarl, then the colour seemed to drain from his face as the seven foot man came to a stop infront of him. "Get out of my forest." with a single grunt, the behemoth lifted his fist and knocked the soldier from the clearing. Virgil skidded several feet upon landing, struggling to rise before following his comrades as they fled. Tala proceeded to watch as the man, silhouetted against the dawn light waited until the soldiers were long gone before turning, then he drew back deeper into the thicket as the behemoth advanced towards his hiding place, leaning in through the entrance before gripping the youth by the front of his jacket and pulling him out. "Please, I had no idea this forest belonged to anyone, I was just trying to get away...! Don't kill me alright? Put me down and I'll leave...I'll...!""Quiet." With nothing more than a grunt, the man set Tala down on his feet, dusting off the youth's shoulders with one hand before folding his arms across his chest. They stood in silence for more than a minute or two, then Tala glanced away, feeling rather like a child caught stealing cookies... "Why were Dangu Soldiers after you?""Because I'm different." It didn't feel safe to make eye contact with the man, so instead, Tala kept his gaze averted. "Ngozi." unfolding his arms, the man offered a hand, yellow eyes regarding the youth inquisitively as Tala finally met his gaze and shook his hand. "Tala." Tala nodded, "Thanks for saving me." he took his hand back, then tilted his head as the man turned and lifted up his hood before starting to walk from the clearing. The youth stood there for a moment, unsure whether to follow before realising it might just be useful to have the guy around - especially with the soldiers still lurking around... "Hey! Wait up!" Straightening his jacket out, Tala jogged after the man.

Silver hissed sighing out a breath and complained under his breath hearing the echoing voice of Creed. "Beautiful timing." He said with sarcasm at the timing he had for Cyrus.
Rosalie kept scratching and hitting the door to try and bust through but failed. She was growling and snarling but as Creed spoke again she snorted and made a noise of confusion as she looked at the phone, glaring at it and moved closer to it, sniffing the phone. She growled at it as he spoke again and gave what sounded like a rough violent bark, backing up and spiking the fur on her back up at it.
In her roar at the phone was a whimper and cry, her inner self wanting freedom from the nightmare still as she still had some humanity left just not in the frontal control.
Outside the door waited outside the door in the main room, listening with patients he sighed, pushing up glasses which hid his orange eyes. He had his stringy purple hair pulled back into a ponytail and he looked over at Creed not seeming amused as he adjusted his well fitting white and turquoise blue lab coat which fit his body nicely. "I don't need to clean up bodies do I?" he asked quietly taking monster wrangling very seriously.
"Also this isn't some mistake you've made? That beast is a human female?" he questioned with an airy tone that sounded like a female and by body one could say female but she was toned. She also didn't have much in ways of a rack which helped. "I want to get what it is back to make things right." She paused waiting then spoke more. "I also thought you said your Owl had ceased these experiments."
She would wait listening and eye the device upon hearing the noise before he hung up and sighed. "He's done a good number. Not even Lord Raven is this demented....well he is but you know what I mean." She said folding her arms and started to move for the door after her phone would go off with the coordinates showing up.
Ritzu put an earpiece into her ear and paused at the door, looking over towards Creed. "You coming to make sure your twits are not dead? I don't like dealing with corpses....not fresh ones at least of subjects not of my testing. Never know what has been laden within their flesh." She explained before moving out the door after she'd wait to see if he'd come or not.
If he came she would go downstairs and into her truck with an extended covered back. She would get in and if he came she would allow him a lift but if he did not then she would go off to the coordinates without him, heading straight for the Dead District.
Ritzu sighed, adjusting her glasses again, reaching in behind her and the passenger seat to pull out a coiled up whip. It was to show the beast who was boss. She sped down the road heading into the territory where any traffic and people walking faded to nothing.
At the warehouse Rosalie snarled smashing the phone with her fist and howled before slamming her body against the door Cyrus held shut and then ran over and slammed herself into the door held closed by Silver. She was growing frustrated and looked around growling more before racing over and slammed her body into a wall then into another and another before slamming into one of the garage doors that were down. She slammed it twice before it bulged out but held its own against the monster.
Ritzu would get to the house and she'd bark, looking at the bulged out door frowning and sighed heavily. "Imbeciles." She muttered her insult with spite. She walked up and pushed Silver out of the way, seeing his injured arm and sighed rolling her eyes and touched her earpiece. "You have a bleeding sack on the East exit door." She said and dropped her hand from the ear as she entered.
Silver slammed the door behind her fast. She looked up at Rosalie annoyed, unwinding her whip. "You know, you tore me away from a very fun little test I was preforming on a lab made life form from old genetics." Ritzu complained as she walked up towards Rosalie with her boots tapping on the cement flooring.
Rosalie looked over, snarling and baring her fangs at this new intruder. She barked out a warning as her body tensed and she backed up slowly from Ritzu who was nearing closer step by step. The woman came to a stop and swept around the whip before cracking it in the air making Rosalie first whine in fear before snarling in rage and to show she was dominate over the human.
Ritzu watched coldly, fixing her thin framed specs to see Rosalie charging forwards and attacking with her claws. Ritzu jumped back and landed before leaping back once more and dodging the attacks Rosalie was making with her sweeping and slamming claws.
Silver outside the building grumbled. "I'm not a flesh bag." He muttered quietly finding that insulting as his arm he looked to and noticed it was bleeding. "It's not bleeding that badly." He commented and winced as he heard a crash from inside the building. "Just what the heck is that guy doing in there?" he questioned shocked at the racket and lowered his head some as another crash with a loud roaring snarl rang out.
There was a crack of a whip with more racket as Ritzu was dodging Rosalie's strikes while striking her back with the whip, pressing a button to soon make it spark with electricity and hitting the beast with it. She was not messing around and wanted to show the animal who was the boss.
Rosalie yelped and whined as she was hit across the face hard and backed up as she saw Ritzu walking near her and bared her fangs. "You want to keep this up beast? You wish to defy your alpha?" she asked sternly in a loud dominating voice before she cracked the whip again with its electrical static joining in.
Rosalie winced and whimpered backing up and got backed into a corner as Ritzu walked closer, cracking her whip across Rosalie's body when the beast tried to strike her. The beast backed off and cowered after several cracks of the whip across her face, nose, and body like her back, arms, and waist with legs. The beast put her tail between her legs as she lowered down in the corner, showing Ritzu a sign of surrender and she'd obey.
Ritzu sighed as it had taken her several minutes of fighting before she could release a breath and pulled a cig out of her pocket. She lit it and took a puff, blowing out the smoke. "Now that's a good beastie. I'm glad you saw it my way." The scientist said as she watched examining Rosalie over with careful eyes that seemed to shimmer behind her glass lenses.
She would continue to puff on her cig before dropping it at half way and step on it, twisting her foot and walked up to Rosalie. She reached out and went to pet the girl turned monster. Rosalie winced her ears falling but stayed put to let Ritzu pet her, some burns from the whip showing on her fur. "That's a good girl. Thank you for submitting so nicely. I didn't need to kill you." She said smirking pleased by this quick turnaround. She was impressed with herself as well but in it being so quick it told her it hadn't been too long since the change happened. That or the change was somehow interrupted and didn't take full effect.
Either way she wasn't impressed too much that this was done. She thought it had ended but it appeared it hadn't fully been terminated. She would take her time as she examined Rosalie over while petting her head. She then looked and noticed on her wrist was a cuff. She narrowed her eyes seeing the broken pieces and nodded. "That must have been what happened..an interruption to the process..." she muttered quietly.
Silver outside blinked confused when things went quiet and pressed his ear to the door, curious if Ritzu was dead. "Did he get killed?" he questioned quietly not sure if he should open the door yet or not. If Creed had come and tended to Silver's arm then Silver paid him little mind, too curious and worried about the 'man' that went in past him like it was nothing with just a whip.

"I thought you had people to clean up bodies for you?" Creed mused as he left his office and turned to his cohort, "I vaguely recall your lab is much more sophisticated than mine...with more space and all..." the last bit came as sort of a grumble as after 'leaving' his previous dwellings he had been forced to downsize... "And you should know, I don't make mistakes...especially when it comes to the Owls." Skylar himself couldn't believe that Lord Dragon would allow something which they had all believed had been outlawed years beforehand... He grabbed his lilac scarf and drew it around his neck before tucking it beneath his labcoat, "Haha...Twits," he smirked, finding this amusing, "I'm sure at least one of them can hold his own, but I'd better tag along - just in case," grabbing a small bag of supplies he followed Ritzu to the door, hopping in the vehicle when they reached it before kicking back somewhat relaxed with the high-speed journey towards the Dead District. They would split up when they arrived to no doubt cover both doors, with Creed following the tiniest of signals towards where he would find Cyrus. The Hunter had taken a step back, watching as the door shook violently with each assault. for a brief moment, he recalled a flickering of past 'dealings' with monstrosities that had gone out of control, this beast wasn't much different... "Well this is a surprise!" Creed's amused voice reached his ears and Cyrus spun round, narrowing his eyes before taking a step forward - he planned to question the man on his use of tracking devices, but Skylar silenced him with a wave of his hand before advancing towards the door, "Remarkable...but will it hold?" he clambered up a stack of pallets to attempt a glance through the tiny window - there wasn't much to see, but he would lean close to the dusty glass anyway. "Creed, we need to talk." Cyrus tried again, narrowing his eyes as Skylar raised his hand, "East Exit?" Jumping down from the pallets he moved past Cyrus who stifled a growl, "I'm on my way!" his tone was almost musical, hiding the smirk on his face as he walked away from the Hunter who followed without comment. It wouldn't take the pair long to find their way around and Creed would roll his eyes upon hearing Silver's comment regarding his associate, "That Guy, is a well respected scientist." drawing a healing kit from his bag, Skylar would advance towards the male, "He is also a She." the comment was blunt, but Creed said nothing more as he got to work on Silver's wound. "There's someone in there?" Cyrus was shocked, looking up at the door as the sounds of crashing and snarling could be heard behind the barricade. "...They're either well experienced, or completely nuts.""A little of both," Creed chuckled, deliberately patting Silver's arm when he was done, "All patched up." he frowned as he realised Silver hadn't really noticed, but cleared up all the same and approached the door. "Wanna see what she's achieved?" His fingers would grace the lock - it had gone quiet, but Cyrus would still reach out to stop the man as Skylar pushed open the door. ~*~*~ The Man-Behemoth said little as they made their way down through the forest, infact, it was almost as though Ngozi had forgotten Tala was there at all as he strode ahead, disappearing from view. The youth proceeded to track him in silence, finding it quite difficult to keep up, especially as the man moved so quietly...Eventually, he came to a stop by a large river. Tala watched as Ngozi crossed the water in few strides before seating himself on a large boulder on the other side. It was clear the man had lived out in the Wilds for some time, his clothing was such that he could fade into the undergrowth and disappear completely from view... He seemed to have crafted his own tools as well and were it not for his size and appearance, Tala could almost have compared him to Cyrus. Ngozi lifted his gaze as Tala approached the water. There were stepping stones, but they were too far apart for the youth to jump without ending up in the water one way or another... Frowning, the youth hesitated at the water's edge before swallowing his pride and wading across. The water was cold and he drew a sharp breath, but eventually - after a few wobbles on the slippery stones - he made it across. Ngozi let out a grunt as Tala sat down a few metres away from him, setting his line in the water before starting work on another hook. The youth observed the man for a while before turning his eyes to the river. "You fish?" the question made Tala's ears twitch and the youth looked towards the behemoth who had turned his attention from his lines. "Sometimes." Tala shrugged, "But I don't always use a line..." he watched as Ngozi tilted his head, then the youth rose to his feet, "I guess it's not gonna change anything if you see...right?" There wasn't much point in removing his jacket, but he did so anyway, tossing it to the side of the bank before dropping his arms down to his sides. He closed his eyes momentarily, checking his breathing before bringing his hands out slightly. A cool breeze would kick up the dusty silt from between the pebbles, then small shadows began to draw up around his ankles. Ngozi watched with interest, his yellow eyes widening slightly as a dark mass spiralled up and around the youth before engulfing him completely. The shape would bend and twist before tilting downwards, becoming level before drawing away to reveal a new form. "...What do you think?" A long black tail would flick excitedly before the youth, now a large, black wolf padded closer. "It's different." Ngozi's face relaxed and he turned his head - Tala wasn't sure if he had spotted a look of admiration on the man's face, but he didn't push for applause. The Behemoth watched from the corner of his eye as Tala waded into the water, it wasn't so deep in this form and just covered his chest, but fur or not, it was still cold. Making his way towards the edge of the shallows, Tala spread his paws and stood stock still, eyes focused, scouring the stones for any movement. "Hrmmm..." Presuming the youth was going to stand there for some time, Ngozi returned his attention to working on his line, lifting his eyes once again as he soon heard splashing. He now watched as the wolf's head plunged beneath the water, his paws taking him forwards as the youth started to pursue whatever petrified creature had fallen under his radar. The fish seemed determined to get away from its pursuer and flitted for the shallows, leaping clean of the water and landing with a wet splat upon the pebbles by the man's feet. Tala came up fast behind it but ground to a halt as he realised how close he'd come to the man... His ears flattened and his tail coiled back around his legs, not exactly scared, but not wanting to anger the giant who could smash him into a pulp if he set a foot wrong... Ngozi's hardened expression sent a chill around the youth's body, but as the man's eyebrows lifted and his lips drew back into a contented smirk, Tala relaxed, "I must try that some time.""You get wet, but it's more fun than just sitting waiting for a bite," Tala's ears perked up and his long tail wagged from side to side as he padded closer, picking up the fish and setting it beside the man before returning to the water.
