The sound and fury stemming from the back of the building confirmed the epicenter of battle, so Scholomance was glad (albeit nerve-wracked) to have a vantage point of proximity. He stood steady, shaken hands white-knuckled on his cane while he watched down the long hallway. He wondered how much time may pass before the battle grew and expended into the front room, into the streets out front, into neighboring buildings. He wondered if he would have to choose between affiliations here. It strung his nerves tight to the point where any action taken may demand reaction.
And Xenotime's touch all but guaranteed it - the suddenness of her appearance gave him just as much of a start. "I would watch my back if I didn't already have to watch my head and all the rest of me, too," he snapped back, "but-"
The squire cut off immediately when he recognized Labyrinthite and his oversized farming tool emerging on the scene. The man looked the same as he remembered, and elicited a jolt of adrenaline at the thought of the last threat he imparted upon Scholomance. Now two Generals and a General-Queen lay in the immediate vicinity, and any interest in neutrality he might hold could well find itself corrupted whether he wanted it or not - it simply wouldn't be a choice anymore, with the thick, choking pall of Chaos surrounding the area. 'Join or die' would become a very quick decision soon. He imagined that Labyrinthite would take great pride in simply ending him there, as a sacrifice unworthy of converting to the Negaverse's cause. Perhaps the blonde general who engaged the Royal senshi would deny him, but ultimately...
Despite prior interaction with Aokigahara, he hardly noticed the Page's arrival in an auric sense. All too much Chaos still clouded the room, and he found no reason for the (apparently) woefully uninformed Page to join the host of corruptions already taking place. "A ******** happening. Get out of here - go outside," he started with a nod of his head toward the window. "This is the worst place to be. Whatever you decide to do, do it well, but do it the ******** away from here."
Methone, too, arrived in her easy, joking manner. It set his teeth on edge. He knew that dismissiveness often dissociated one just enough from the harrowing reality of one's situation to function to an effective capacity, but her lazy demeanor and pause to ask for directions in assisting the Royal senshi left him similarly troubled. He started to wonder if there weren't any allies.
"I can cast on you to keep you safe for a minute," he added to Aokigahara with a glance toward Xenotime, "but you need to leave."

His hand found little more than air, though the Myrrha did not stray far. The one in the dress retreated only slightly before thinking to pause and offer a meek and unconvincing plea to let her be. "Uhhhh, nope. Don't think so. You see what happened to the other senshi in there? The only place you're going is home with us." Ochre continued to approach her, less actively than before, as he wanted to test how far her timid retreats would last before she turned to run. It was, he found, far easier to hit someone when their back was facing him.
And, evidently, someone else intended to stop him too. A woman of some serious hair colors stepped in, of similar strength to the one he fought, and Ochre huffed. "I don't care if she wants to play. She'll play whether she likes it or not. That's the name of the game. Play or die.
"So there's gonna be a choice here. You or her. And since you're the one trying to stand up to me..." Ochre held his palm outward, facing Cassiopeia. "Sheikh's Prayer." Soon the white energy collected at the epicenter of his palm before swirling out toward her.
And another corrupted senshi drew near, which bade well for addressing the other straggling senshi. "Hey," he called to Ceraskia, "take care of the skittish one?" He nodded back toward the Scents Senshi.

Sheikh's Prayer Range: 8 feet Number of targets: 1 Duration: Variable Number of casts: 3 Ochre extends his palm out and a pentagram forms just beyond his raised hand. It glows, and a spirit-shaped energy curves and swirls out at quick speed in a straight line. Lasts 10 seconds. Can be dodged and interrupted.
If hitting a SENSHI... The senshi incurs no damage and no repercussions from being hit. However, Ochre is afterward allowed to cast one iteration of one of the magic attacks, up to the equivalent to his level. For example, if Sailor Ochre strikes Sailor Iris with his attack, he will only be allowed to cast one iteration of her Iris Rainbow Ribbon attack. His ability to make this one cast lasts for a 20 second window.

[Senshi - Methone - Eternal senshi of Aurora Borealis]
Methone took a general step back as Castor took into a fight with Laby, a general she didn't know and her eyes scanned the battlefield for anyone who was in need of assistance. Her eyes landed on Scholomance immediately and she dropped from the building she had occupied with Castor, weaving through the street until she was near him.
A general was attacking him, and another smaller page of saturn. She flashed some teeth and moved to step in front of Xenotime, preparing to cast magic to blast her away if she didn't take the warning.
"Hello handsome." She didn't look Scholo in the eye, wary of the general in front of her, and too focused to look away. "Do you both mind stepping back?"
Lace squeaked from her spot in Sera's jacket and then poked her head and one paw out, pointing over to the senshi that was being handled by the General queen. "That one, in the middle!" She looked up at him. "She'll need me! I think, It'll be important!"
But considering how many people were around...
"Or...Or we can wait...There is a lot of the other...things."

Myrrha had been debating whether or not this was a good time to use her attack. Surely it would give her time to get out of the mess that she currently found herself in. As the man that had attempted to grab her earlier started to speak Myrrha shook her head at his words. "I actually didn't see anything in there. How can I see beyond the counters? I don't have x-ray vision."
She was rather curious about what the stranger said about coming home with them though. Whatever he meant with that comment it did not sound pleasant.
The sound of another voice reaching her ears gave Myrrha time to pause and catch her breath. Sure standing with her back against the wall didn't sound entirely taxing but it was the situation of being outnumbered and possibly the weakest around. So when someone began to speak in her defense Myrrha was grateful. The owner of the voice (Cassiopeia) was correct. Myrrha wasn't one to play if the odds were against her. Her gaze found the voice's owner and she gave a quick nod of thanks as Ochre's attention wavered. As he addressed clearly another member of his own side, Ceraskia, Myrrha found herself standing straighter than before. It was not in her nature to give up so easily.
Taking a deep breath as the man was distracted by casting what seemed to be an attack Myrrha launched her body towards his, hoping that she could disrupt the attack on the one that had intervened. It meant she'd be in close quarters once more but it was a risk she was willing to take.
[NEG] Cpt. Titanlåvenite // Out Back the Tea House
"This is a fight for me." Titan was unconvinced, but it was as like to a direct order as he expected to get from Benitoite on the matter. That is the Royal, Castor—dark wings, armor, colors of white and blue.
'If there are senshi formally declaring war on the Earth, then they fulfill everything that our throne has recruited us for.' A general has a chance against such a creature, but not a great one. Not alone. That one that declared war on the every part Earth. But I am not to interfere.
The captain lifted his arm, weapon in hand, in an protective shield over his own head as summoned ice hammered down on bodies, pavement, boxes, and sang off metal fixtures of the alley and loading area. A particularly large hailstone thocked, cracked, splintered the skull on his epaulet. Chunks like eye and teeth fell and scraped under boot as Titan moved back nearer the door. Other ice hunks made the best of welts beneath his black tunic, or caught in his braid. Others are staying to the rooves. Maybe the front of the building. But not right here.
Titan stayed as he was, frowning at the hail, in the way of the back entrance.

[S. Senshi] Sailor Harmonia - Inside Teashop
Power signatures were everywhere. Some were good, others not so much. It was chaotic to say the least. None of it was helping to ease the anxiety slowly balling itself up in her chest. She stood outside staring at the open door into the establishment. It swung slightly on it's hinges, giving her small glimpses of the inside. Needless to say, the shop looked anything like a quaint tea shop anymore but more like the battle zone it had become.
Standing in one place wasn't going to help her or anyone else. Hell, it may even make her an easier target if anyone noticed her. Swallowing hard she took a deep breath before hurrying through the front door and into the building.
Harmonia was so focused on getting herself through the front door that she nearly skidded right into a purple and black attired squire. She managed to stop herself just short of toppling into him, her hands came up in front of her, to steady herself against his back so she didn't fall over. The sound of fighting was enough to distract her from apologies as she looked around the squire and into the back room where battle was most prominent.
Hail rained down on people, but what caught her attention first was the General-Queen with her hand deep inside the chest of a senshi. Almost instantly, Harmonia's face paled. She knew what was happening. She'd seen it happen once before. "Oh no!"
"We need to help..." She murmured softly. She didn't want to see a corruption happen again, but what could she do? Her magic wasn't anything useful in this sort of situation.
[Nega] Lt. Seraphinite // Heading towards Laurels & Gomeisa If anyone tried to make any comments about how he looked with a kitten poking her head out of his jacket, he'd likely aim a fist for their face. As it was, Seraphinite followed Lace's pointing paw. His nerves picked up a bit, seeing the General Queen, and what he realized to be a corruption in the works. Well. That explained a few things, he figured.
Glancing down at Lace, he grumbled a bit but nodded. "Ok. That one first, then we can go find your... other things, whatever they are. More senshi? You've got a few here," he mumbled, looking about at the battle around them. Holding tight to his wooden swords in case someone interrupted them, Seraphinite began to move quickly towards the General Queen and her... target.

[Senshi] Sailor Cassiopeia // In front of the Tea House Oh she did not like this guy's options. Her eyes narrowed a tad. Play or die? Yeah no. She wasn't keen on this concept, and her brain whirled around, debating how to go about this. Fight the guy head-on? Or try and make a distraction for the other senshi to run..?
Cassiopeia didn't necessarily mind that his attention was focused on her for the moment, though she was trying to keep something of a distance for the time being. Movement behind the guy made her pause, somewhat distracted--if a bit awed--by the other senshi (Myrrha) lurching forward to attack the dark senshi.
Which kinda meant Cassiopeia missed the fact he was attacking her. The senshi yelped, stumbling to the side to get out of the way of the pale mist. Some managed to brush against her arm and she winced, bracing for some pain but.... none came. In fact, she realized with a startled stare that nothing happened to her. Did she... just manage to avoid his magic then?
Not wanting the white and purple senshi to face this on her own, Cassiopeia bolted towards him, fist raised to hopefully get a shot in on him. Even if her instincts were a bit more on flight side than fight...
Strickenized
Attacking Ochre without magic, but here's Cas' magic in case he wants to use:
Shimmering Awe Calling the name of her attack, Cassiopeia focuses her magic between her hands. An orb 12 inches in diameter forms, floating in the air between her hands before rising into the air about two feet in the air above her, 7 feet into the air from the ground. The orb's contents is constantly shifting, looking one moment like a fairy light hovering in the air, to a galaxy, to mystifying alien worlds. Any Chaos agents standing in a range of 12 feet diameter who view the orb would find themselves transfixed by the sights. Though they would be able to look back and focus on the fight at hand, Chaos agents might keep finding their attention wavering back to the orb and its mystical sights. The orb itself only remains for 30 seconds before it vanishes, and Cassiopeia must recharge her magic for 60 seconds before she can use her magic again. She can only use it three times per day.

General Xenotime
The squire's voice cut off, attention seemingly caught by something across the room from them, and the general made an interested hum as she leaned around him in the hopes of catching a glimpse of what had made him suddenly so tense. It hadn't been her. Through the fading the fading hail and the dark spread of feathers she could see another player approaching--general, by the feel of it--but they weren't familiar to her, what little of them she could see.
She had a mind to ask him what had him so nervous, but they didn't have the relative privacy of a hail storm to converse through now. A page had come hurrying over(foolishly, Xenotime thought to herself, given her proximity to the squire), seeking guidance. She lofted a brow at him as she pushed the hood of her uniform back to fall against her shoulders. Lips tucking up in a small, amused smile as she watched him keenly. "Friend of your's?" It wasn't an idle question, and she couldn't say she blamed him much for trying to get the page away from her, given her track record for violence.
"I'd listen if I were you," she added with a laugh, grin broadening as she turned pale eyes from Scholomance to Aokigahara.
More interruptions followed. This time in the form of a lackadaisical eternal trying to play hero when there was as of yet nothing to defend against. Xenotime had not, yet, lifted so much of a finger against Scholomance, or his fresh-faced seeming little friend. The smile she wore slipped as the eternal edged in to try to force the general away from her place at the squire's back, and the faintest hint of a growl rumbled from the woman's throat.
She didn't move. If Methone wanted to force her way between them, she'd have to do so bodily, or hope Scholomance moved on his own accord. "Manners manners, didn't you know?" Arms rising, the general summoned her weapon, fingers curling through metal, armor chasing up from wrists to shoulders. "It's impolite to interrupt."

Corrupted Ceraskia - Senshi of Scorn
Ceraskia was not in anyway an intimidating figure. Slight of body and short in stature, she looked every bit the dancer her fuku(blasted immodest thing that it was) hinted at. Words like birdlike, delicate, and fragile came to mind when eyes fell on the dainty girl, but there was a certain fierce determination that shown in the dark jade of her eyes as her attention snapped to Ochre at his call.
"Yes." It was said with confidence, even if she had no reason to be so sure. Lacking in anything close to experience.
In a way the skittish senshi did Ceraskia a favor as she lurched towards the other two, and a small little smile touched along dark lips as the dancer followed suit. This would work out perfectly.
Close, but out of reach of a flailing limb, the slight senshi brought her hand up to her lips, kissing her palm, then gestured out in a wide arch. "Quarrelsome breath," she announced clearly, voice carrying across the sounds of battle.
tefla
Ceraskia touches lips to her palm, and then blows a 'kiss' at target. The resulting magic as the effect of turning a person against their allies. Emotionally or physically.
This attack works best on groups. This attack only works at close range, but can be used up to three times in battle. This attack last for thirty seconds.

[Nega] Lt. Prehnite // In the Alley, Approaching the Saturn Bros
Prehnite paused briefly in his approach, gaze darting between the pair of Saturn Pages. He wondered momentarily which would react first, and couldn't keep back his grin as he watched the Page with the Oar take a defensive position in front of his peer. How sweet, that he was willing to defend his friend. Prehnite honestly wondered what the other page was even capable of, his weapon..if it could be called that, had an odd appearance. Who in the world used candles for anything? Maybe he was magical?
The Oar at least made sense as an actual weapon. The fact that it could be used defensively and offensively. Prehnite knew he'd have to be at least little careful, his trowel was not a defensive weapon.
"I think, that you're confused. Have you looked around lately? Do you even realize what it is you've haphazardly wandered into little page? I might be outnumbered in this moment. In this space" Prehnite made a grand gesture at the alleyway, twirling his trowel menacingly. "I, however, unlike you, am not outnumbered in the grand scheme of this battle. Ten to one, there are more of my people here, than there are of yours."
Prehnite slowly walked closer as he spoke, waiting until he was within arms length to strike out at the Oar Wielding Page. Slashing out deliberately at the oar itself. He was testing...
How strong was this page, how would his trowel fair against wood? How long would the page continue to defend his friend without aid?

At first she could only struggle with catching her breath. The collision that she had with the young man (otherwise known as the enemy) had resulted in directly winding herself. It had been a great plan on paper but once reality factored in you had to crunch the numbers a bit more carefully. Myrrha's struggle for breath ended as she brought her left fist into play. Almost robotic like did she bring her fist down into her opponent's sternum. If anything the force behind the attack would not do much damage except leave a slight bruise. Myrrha glanced up as Cassiopeia moved in. A quick scurrying motion left Ochre open for the other senshi to attack as Myrrha rose to her feet.
As she shook out her wrist from the impact Myrrha registered that the other who had answered the call from before had moved in much too close. Her ears dimly registered Ceraskia's words before the oddest sensation rose in her. Suddenly it felt like she had hit the wrong person earlier. Myrrha's gaze narrowed in on Cassiopeia as anger rose in her. Myrrha found herself moving towards her fellow senshi and without much thought in the matter brought her foot arcing towards the other girl's shin. If she could get her off her feet there would be a better chance that she could do more damage.

Attacking Cassiopeia while under "Quarrelsome Breath" effects
Methone approached, and announced her intentions quite clearly by asking himself and Aokigahara to part from Xenotime. The general herself offered no indications of attack; Methone's approach was preemptive. She expected Xenotime to assault himself or the young page, and Scholomance suspected that Methone may know who Xenotime was if Mont Blonc confessed to her what happened. In that instance, retribution wasn't far.
Taking a breath, Scholomance asked himself what he wanted of this encounter. Originally his day was set to evaluate his wonder's hateful supervision while he explored the facets of magic in the signet rings. He conducted that research in a location fairly sequestered from his wonder, Blaine, and any prior locations where he encountered fights. Now, he found himself amongst another with a forced corruption occurring in the back room, a general at his back, Methone at his fore, Aokigahara at his side, and nowhere to go. Xenotime summoned her weapon to hand as soon as Methone announced her statements. Beyond that, a fight sounded imminent.
It was easiest to stand aside and allow Methone to fight this general, though it jeopardized any relations he had with her. Aokigahara may become collateral in such a fight. He himself may be drawn into such a fight.
Plus, he would lose sight of the corruption.
Before he could make a decision of it, someone collided against his back and a keen sense of terror and anticipation struck. It lasted but moments until he recognized that the hands at his back were not Xenotime's, but another super senshi who stepped in from the outdoors. This only added to the precarious balance here - one general versus a pair of senshi were lesser odds. Would Xenotime see this as a challenge and attack, or would she feel threatened enough to call in reinforcements?
The senshi's motives were made clear with her next words, though he could not address them imminently. "If any of you plan on attacking each other around me, I'm going to make it quite hard for you to do so. If you're still keen on beating each other to death, take it outside." Methone knew he held the magic to sequester the lot of them, though the rest didn't. "This is going to make me sound very unpopular, but I am not here to interrupt anything. What I want is a closer look at that." He pointed down the hall where the back room was visible - where chaos sequestered a pair of senshi for consumption.

Ochre managed his attack and started forward in an awkward lurch when the senshi behind him tried to tackle him down. Ochre caught the window ledge to keep himself from eating sidewalk, and struggled to his feet. He was wasting precious time - what few flecks of intuition that came from his magic quickly started to fade. Second by second, he felt the name of the Technicolor Dream Senshi slip from grasp.
Ceraskia lent her assistance to Ochre's deep gratitude, and her attack peeled the senshi from his back. With the other basic hurdling toward her counterpart, Ochre found the time to breath the cast just before he forgot the information entirely. "Shimmering Aw- ********!" Ochre failed to finish the named attack when a fist very nearly struck his face. He managed to duck in time, and the evidently bewitched senshi was catching up.
"If you're gonna get right up on me, you're not gonna like it," he warned from his crouch. Ochre reached for one of the Wonder Senshi's legs, hoping he could drain some energy from the contact before she got into a tussle with her ally.
"Thanks," he called back to Ceraskia for her much-needed assist.
So far, getting the hang of this whole 'You're a Knight now Max' was not going too smoothly for the small young man. Aside from being extremely confused and out of the loop on must things and not knowing a lot of jargon, Paris was often just wondering why everything was so darn dangerous and why in god's name did he have a human skull for a weapon. It was a real skull too, he'd checked. The very fact alone was disturbing enough, and really he'd rather just know who set the knights up because giving kids skulls and dressing them up and telling them to fight was child endangerment.
He was pretty sure about that.
Still, he found himself powered up, skull in hand, staring at the current battleground that was the teahouse.
He'd actually been there oh god had he'd been drugged at some point?

[Corrupt Sailor Typhon - Inside the Tea House]
The Senshi of Hurricane's nightly patrol was interrupted by what felt like a bajillion power signatures setting off in a consecrated area - which could only mean some serious trouble was going down. Rushing from rooftop to rooftop, the corrupted punk landed in front of the tea shop to see the all-out brawl around the shitty destination. Who the ******** drinks tea, anyways?
Prissy bitches. That's who.
He surveyed the area and spotted his familiar commander, General Xenotime, battling it out inside against some Senshi as two Knights stood by idle. He knew she could handle herself, but hopefully his assistance would be appreciated and rewarded. Four to one was hardly a fair fight.
He pushed his way through to the inside and leapt beside Xenotime, flicking off the Senshi around them with both hands, ready to crotch-punch any b***h that came near or tried to strike either one of them. "Sup girl? Miss me?" he winked to his commander.
SHE WAS SO READY TO GET INTO HER FIRST EVER FIGHT WITH A BUNCH OF THOSE NEGAWHATEVERS AND CHAOS PEOPLE FROM DnD LIKE NO YOU DID NOT UNDERSTAND.
She'd been wanting to fight, to show everyone just what she was made of, (aside from comets apparently). Yet as more and more people showed up, and more and more it looked like a really unorganized brawl she felt herself having to just stop at a distance and rethink a few of her life choices. On one hand, she could show everyone she took herself seriously and was ready for the big leagues.
On the other hand, she was still under five feet and had about as much impact as all of one small teenage girl who'd never been in a fight for her entire life.
She decided to just stand off to the side, punching the air as she mentally cheered on those who were much larger, and much more powerful than her because like heckie she was about to run into that hot mess on day... 1.
