Leaving Swings - (Haüyne) - (NEGA)
HP: 22/40
Damage: n/a
Target: chains of swing

The corrupted super's face snapped to the side, leading weight that went into a deliberate roll to disengage direct combat with the senshi of salt. Even taking a solid punch, smarting and splitting lip and part of gums, straining tissue over teeth so that each pearly white on that side was curtained red, Haüyne's face snapped up with bald entertainment.

Pyrophanite looked to be fairing about as well, meaning not ideal, and there was the clarion screaming of metal and wood moving like they shouldn't, the chains of the swings shivering with more than just cold. " By the Sword!"

Haüyne drug two nails of one hand along the red wrist daggering of the other hand, drawing a longsword out magical blood before hucking it at the dangling chains of Olga's seat, severing them. Then the corrupted made a dash to grab them up and drag the girl along like the opposite of a kite, or maybe a macabre bait for the concrete ocean of the city. "BUS! Let's book!"

Captain Moonstone - Fighting Kairatos!
HP 40 of 40
Attack Dice 1d10
Target: Kairatos for 5 DMG

Kairatos seems as interested in an all-out brawl as she was, which was quite nice. There was a glint to his eyes, a fire that was answered within the Captain. That he was making light of her was taken as a challenge - would he remember her, after this?

"We'll have fun, you and I." Moonstone certainly hoped so.

Wasgo’s body creaked and it’s eyes flashed as Kairatos came forward to attack it’s master, blocking the barrage of blows and taking some heavy hits - including one that blinded it. Wasgo made a sound like a ship breaking apart and staggered, dazed and wounded - but it had done well, hadn't it? It had protected Mistress!

With an angry cry the Haida Captain lept at the Knight, swinging her totem bat overhead; if she could crack his head open, that would be perfect...but anywhere would be good. She wanted him to hurt. And to focus on her. Wasgo would face off the other, not this vicious creature who's blood seemed to run as hot as her own.

Altair, Senshi of Scalpels
HP: 30/30
Target: Amphitrite, Corrupt Senshi of Shells

"Sscalpel shot!" Why Altair realized at this time that she had been pronouncing her attack somewhat inaccurately, she did not know exactly. But it also crossed her mind that perhaps it would help if she improved her pronunciation of it. Really though, in this crucial time, she might very well be just grasping at any straws for help to cope with all this. And this is mainly because, the attacker had an appalling look on her face. It scared Altair, yes, but also it fanned flames of protectiveness inside her as well.

Lily - Hp 15/15 - Swings

Lily just made a face like she'd been mildly inconvenienced when the park shook -- and then the girl spoke, and the brunette spoke, and 'Olga' (that was her name, wasn't it? that must have been her name) was suddenly tumbling to the ground like some sort of demented child's toy, the chains cut. ...Well, that was annoying, wasn't it? That'd be terrible, that'd be bad. But everyone was busy, so she just slumped where she sat, head awkwardly pressing against coldened chains.

"I know you're all busy, but could I get a little help? I can't really free myself, you see." The temperature of the wind wasn't a bother, but it spoke of worse things to come - and Lily wasn't stupid, regardless of how sheeplike she came off in her speech. Dying wasn't on the agenda. Dying was never, really, on the agenda.

Mistral - HP 38/40 - Leaving Swings, but grabbing Lily first!

The negaversers were taking one girl and getting the hell out of dodge, which was annoying. Mistral gritted her teeth - she'd feel terrible if poor Olga wound up corrupted later this evening, but there was another civilian left behind. "Come on!" she called to the senshi. "Eurydike!" He'd been very clear about his name.

"Let's get her down!" she said, using her pipe to indicate the girl still dangling helplessly from the swings.

"How did they secure you?" she called, circling the girl. "Just the ropes? We'll get you out of here."

She started working on the knot. "How did you get here?" she asked. "How did they take you?"

SWINGS (going for a ride weee) - Olga - CIV
HP: 15 / 15
Damage: N/A
Target: N/A

Though he couldn't see it, Olga couldn't help but shoot Eurydike a sheepish grin, however brief. After all, there was way too much going on, made worse when there was a trembling she felt through the chains and swing seat...and then the noises. Her attention snapped back to the battle between Eurydike and Haüyne, and her eyes grew the size of dinner plates upon seeing the state the corrupt was in, and it was with a horrified fascination she watched the senshi summon a sword from their own blood.

Olga made a startled yelp as her swing was set free and landed on the ground, jostling her, and it was with a growing horror as she realized she was being taken. Again. By people who did not hide that they were going to kill her. Her eyes grew impossibly wider, and she shot a frantic look at Lily, who could not help her, obviously, but was in a better situation than her, and to the knight and then to the other senshi who knew her.

They....they weren't going to let them take her were they?

"E-EURYDIKE...!?" There was no mistaking the clear helpless panic and fear in the call.

Leaving Swings - (Pyrophanite) - (NEGA)
HP: 22/30
Damage: n/a
Target: n/a

Pyro could say he was pretty happy that Mistral decided to leave him for another one of the chicks. Luckily, Lily would be saved tonight because she had kept her mouth shut.

Olga well-

He trailed after Haüyne and her pet on leash, watching the senshi's back in cause Salty boy (OH HE KNEW HIM), came to attack. Pyro was not about to lose a golden goose like Olga with all her information and...pictures.

General Xenotime - HP: 50 - Target: Celsus

The arrival of the Order auras was impossible to miss. Xenotime looked up, pale gaze drifting out the window as she tried to count them. "Iolite, we have company." As if the guardian hadn't sensed them herself already. "Watch the girls if you like." It was said casually, dismissively. As if she didn't actually care one way or the other. Because she didn't. "I'm going to go and greet our guests.

And with that the general was gone, disappearing from the small shell of the security building to appear within the grounds of the carnival itself.

Luck placed her near what she hoped would be a worthy target. A knight, Chronos by the looks of him, with the glowing infection of a transcended. She titled her head gently to one side as she looked at him, taking in what she could see of the designs, before calling out to him. "Looks like you've lost something." A lucky guess, but he didn't know that.

"Maybe I can help you find it."

Bifrost - Squire of Chronos - HP: 40 - Target: Xenotime

Damage: 1

A suddenly flare of Chaos as the park began to tremble set Bifrost on edge. It was large, it was dangerous, and to her left. She'd separated from Celsus briefly, trying to make sense of which signatures were where, though the park was so muddled it felt more like a miasma of energy than anything else. She turned on her heel, seeing him now on the other side of the owner of the powerful Chaos signature.

A General.

With their attention on Celsus, Bifrost took the opportunity to run up behind them and whip her rope chain at them. The intent was to have it catch around their arm and she could hold them for a moment so Celsus could attack, but the rope caught nothing. It didn't even reach Xenotime's arm for that matter. What it did was put her in close proximity to the general, and open for retaliation.

Oops....

Annabel "Wolf" Mikael - HP: 40 - Target: No one

She gave a slight nod to Niall, a gesture she hoped would convey that she had a plan. It wasn't a very good plan, but if she kicked hard enough, she could probably send that cat lady into the tracks and off the coaster. If nothing else, she wouldn't go down without a fight - and Anna could fight.

The coaster shook violently, forcing her to brace herself and grab onto the shack. She bared her teeth in a snarl, eyeing the run down coaster.

"We can't stay here. This thing is going to go down, with us on it. I'd like to live through tonight, thanks," she said, looking at the other two civilians. She could probably carry the other girl on her back if she had to. Hopefully their captors would be reasonable and let them down from the damn ride. Some how she doubted it.

CAROUSEL - GENERAL CINNABAR - NEGA - HP: 50 ((currently disguised as a human with glamour))

She saw the desperation in him, could practically taste it as it radiated from his skin. Tolliver, the adorable little man, wanted the power she could give him with every particle in him. And she wanted to give it to him, but even as they stood there, things were going to hell around them.

Suddenly, the ground shook, sending tremors up Cin’s legs. It wasn’t a good sign… earthquakes were not the norm in Destiny City. It was one of the draw backs to her glamour… it didn’t just make her look human. It took away her powers as well, including the one for sensing auras. Cin dropped her hand as she drew back, glancing at the empty carnival.

“Now seems to not be a good time it looks like, Pet… we’re about to get interrupted.” She smirked a little, rolling her neck and her shoulders. As much as she wanted to take care of business, what she had seen of corruption and the giving of chaos energy in general, it was tiring… something she couldn’t afford right now with the enemy closing in. Especially if she ended up with a brand new lieutenant to keep tabs on.

“Look…” She said as she turned back, leaning in to grab Tolliver’s shoulder in a firm squeeze. “They’re coming and there is no time now to do this. If you really want this power I can give you, I need you to meet me later tonight. Come to the top of Destiny Tower. I’ll give you the power you need then. Deal?”

Her voice was low and intense, matching the heat in her eyes. “I’m going to change in a moment into someone stronger… Don’t be afraid. I’m going to protect you and help you escape, so I need you to trust me. I'm not going to hurt you.”

It was a calculated risk... but the pay off, if it worked out, could be immeasurable.

Celsus Knight of Chronos - HP: 50 - Target: Xenotime

Chaos was all around, thick and cloying. Celsus bypassed several of the rickety buildings still standing, careening left and then right again, cape flying out behind him. There was still no sign of Tolliver, not anywhere, though he could feel the masses of Order and Chaos beginning to collide. Celsus slowed his steps, panting, and glanced around, the moonlight catching on the golden coins of his uniform and glinting brightly (subtlety was not a factor easily applied to life as Celsus, after all).

There was a voice behind him - low, tantalizing, and Celsus turned slowly, none of his usual easy friendliness - even when dealing with Chaos - evident on his face. A whip was in his hand, split at the tip to trail off into several tails, all studded with small golden coins, and Celsus wrapped the tails around one of his hands, expression darkening.

"Not lost," he said, and snapped the whip, stalking towards her. "Found."

But he didn't get a chance to attack at first - a flash of blonde, and a familiar face came out of nowhere, her rope swinging towards the general.

"Bifrost, NO - "

There was the crack of a whip, in the General's direction.

General Xenotime - HP: 41 Target:Bifrost

Oh he looks fun. The general grinned viciously as the knight started towards her, feet drifting apart into something more balanced, ready for when he reached her.

Then a shout, The quick of a violet brow, and the sound of something at her back. Xenotime spun around, snatching at the rope that had snapped beside her arm, and twisting it around her fist. "Come now, didn't your mother ever teach you? It's rude to interrupt!" A sharp yank, and she had the squire in her grasp, small fingers locked vice lick around a slender wrist.

Then a sudden shock of pain as the whip cracked, coins snapping like shrapnel against her back, tearing through thick vinyl to the skin beneath, and dragging a furious hiss from the general as she turned, dragging the squire along with her as she twisted the girl's arm up behind her back at a painful angle. "Impatience is so unbecoming in a man." She pulled the arm a little higher, other hand pressing into the squire's shoulder. "I'll deal with you in a moment." A little higher-

Pop!

It was easy enough to dislocate the shoulder, and easier still to pick the poor girl up, bodily throwing her at the other knight.

Eurydike, Senshi of Salt - HP: 23 - Target: Haüyne

First off, that look on the ******** corrupt's face with all that blood and s**t was nothing short of ******** nightmare fuel. Eurydike's eyes widened, but he'd have plenty of chances to reflect on that later - later meaning when the ******** wasn't making ******** up swords out of their own blood and trying to steal Olga all over again. The ground shook, and though he stumbled, he was less worried about that and more worried about her.

He heard the other civilians calling for help, and Mistral's voice beckoning him - heard, but nothing so loud as Olga calling out for him, fear etched across her face, and <******** that. He didn't even regard the squire with a word, hardly even a glance, before he took off running after the pair. He scooped down and grabbed something - probably a rock - ignoring the creaking of the swings behind him as he hauled off and lobbed it at the corrupt, desperately hoping to catch them and maybe get them to stop. If he could just get his ******** magic around Olga, maybe -

He recognized the other one, too now; the one with the big mouth from the gym. "Hey busboy! You scared I'm gonna kick your pasty a** again?!" and it was the lamest insult ever (especially since no one had really come out on top last time, even if that ******** had gotten in a cheap shot at his face) but ******** whatever, he was aiming to distract okay?!

Bifrost Squire of Chronos - HP: 32 - Target: Celsus

She heard him a half second before Xe grabbed her rope and yanked on her arm. Bifrost gasped as the general pushed down on her shoulder, keeping her from moving with the lifting arm. She pulled up, and up and up and--

POP

Bifrost let out a strangled cry of pain as her shoulder dislocated from her arm - correction, her arm dislocated from her shoulder. Everything snapped into acute focus, and faded into a haze of pain at the same time. The cry turned into a mangled scream of even worse pain as the general used that same arm to chuck her into Celsus. The squire slammed into him, dislocated shoulder first and crumpled as her right side spasmed and gave out on her. She shook, eyes squeezed shut in pain, and curled in on herself.

"S-sorry Celsus... that- that was st-stupid of me," she whimpered between spasms of shock through her shoulder and chest. This was not how she wanted to help him, damnit! She wasn't supposed to be taken out this early! She wasn't... she wasn't strong enough to help.

CAROUSEL - TOLLIVER ST. JAMES - CIVILIAN - HP: 30

He felt the ground tremble, fear shooting up and down Tolliver's spine. He stared up at the woman with wide eyes filled with the kind of desperation that led to a disquiet of the mind, a lack of clarity. Her hand was gripping his shoulder, and he could feel the strength and the promise in her voice, his chest tightening.

"I'll be there!" Tolliver blurted out, and there was no doubting the truth in his words. "I'll - I'll be there, and you can - you can give me power."

You can give me the chance to protect the ones I love.
