Kline ____________________________________________ Kline jumped down from the tree and looked at both of the women that surrounded him. It was no secret that this was an all girl school until recently but two in a row was still rare enough in these parts of the school. "Yeah he does," He said as he put his hands in his pockets. "It's nice to meet you Akasha." He patted the human girl on the head as he turned to the newcomer. "whats your name?". ____________________________________________

Mai narrowed her eyes at the question, she was always cautious around people she just met but decide to answer anyway. "I am Mai Veroneek, and who are you" saying the last part a bit straight-forward but in a calm manner.||▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ • + • ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ||

Kline ____________________________________________ Kline chuckled at her question. She must not have been around long enough to hear himself announce his name. "The name's Kline, and it's nice to meet you." The woman seemed so serious; standing there with the demeanor of a warrior rather than a student. Obviously she was a demon but since it was a secret from the humans, he wasn't going to be the one to spill the beans. Instead, he sat back under the tree and began to play with Heinz. "so what are you two doing out here in the woods. It can get pretty dangerous out here if you don't know what you're doing." He looked around hearing the noises of all the animals and creatures that flooded this forest and snickered under his breath. ____________________________________________

She wasn't a short girl, but she wasn't really tall either. She was just an average height.. But for some reason, she didn't like her head being patted. Ever. By anyone. No matter who they were. She looked at Mai and offered the other girl a sweet smile. "It's night to meet you, Mai.." She was a bit taken aback by the brown-haired girl's blunt question, but after a minute, decided she must be talking to the white-haired boy. It was unlikely that Mai hadn't heard her name, after all. She returned her attention to him when he went to play with his dog. "Well.. I like it out here and I've never seen anything dangerous." Kline ____________________________________________ Kline stood up and began to walk further in to the forest before he stood in his tracks and turned. "If you're looking for a bit of excitement, follow me and Heinz." His pup stood by his side confidently, waving his tail. As soon as Heinz let out a bark they both began to walk. ____________________________________________

Certainly enough so that animals would look safe by comparison. She just stood there and watched Kline as he began walking away, then glanced at Mai uncertainly. She wasn't sure following the white-haired boy would be a good idea.. But maybe it could be? She wasn't sure. She had just come out here because it was so peaceful.. So running into two other students had surprised her. She jumped a little when the other girl spoke to her, then slowly nodded. "I guess..." Kline ____________________________________________ Kline looked back to see that both of the girls were keeping up. He turned back around to face them as he walked ackwards. Obviously, he relied on Heinz to let him know of anything he was about to hit. "Sorry if this seems strange to either of you. I'm not very good with women, and this s one of the only times I've intereacted with any students here at the school." He scratched his head underneath his hood as he wore a cheesy smile on his face. "how long have you two been enrolled? I've only been here for two years." ____________________________________________

She was still uncertain about going with them.. She looked around, then smiled at Heinz, thinking he was an adorable dog. She blinked and returned her attention to the other two people with her, waiting until after Mai had spoken before quietly saying, "I've been here for a year now too.." Kline ____________________________________________ Both Kline and Heinz stopped walking as soo as Akasha finished speaking. "I have a question for you Akasha..." He didn't want to reveal a secret to a mortal who didn't want this for herself but she was just so nice. Her gear was still a mystery to him, and he had to know if he could be with her. after all finding your queen is rare enough these days. "Have you ever felt like you had the potential to be so much more than what you are now?" he had a reserved look on his face as he hoped he wouldn't offend her. "I don't mean to sound like I'm saying you aren't wonderful the way you are, but you seem like such a strong person behind your reserved personality. Have you ever thought about just how strong you could be?" His eyes gazed into hers hoping she would share his interest in her. ____________________________________________

She tilted her head slightly as she waited for him to voice his question. She was surprised when he finally did as it wasn't anything like what she was expecting. "Well.. I guess. Sometimes the thought has occurred to me.." Her voice was very quiet and soft again. She sounded slightly confused by his question. Which was how she felt. She blinked as she spoke again, then waved her hands in front of her a little. "I'm not upset if you're worried about that! It's just an unexpected question..." She let her sentence trail off and bit her lip slightly, a faint blush coming to her face as he continued talking. She shifted her weight from one leg to the other, then shrugged a little, meeting his gaze hesitantly. "I did a couple times..." Kline ____________________________________________ As she finished speaking, Kline moved slowly to her to take her hand in his. Kline's heart was racing, unsure of how to proceed. "Then, as someone who has been taken in by you, please let me give you that power." He wanted a queen beside him, but he knew that if he had his queen, he'd want it to be a girl that he was captivated by. he pulled her slightly closer to him with an innocent smile as he placed a queen chess piece in her hand. "Hold on to this tightly love..." He spoke his words gently before moving in to kiss her lips softly. as he did a stand of fabric from his scarf lifted beside her temple and hardened into a needle. Before pulling away from the kiss the needle stabbed through her temple quickly enough to make her death clean and painless. As he held her in his arm, he waited; hoping that when she woke, she would have no ill will toward a boy who just wanted them to truly be together. ____________________________________________

"What..?" Now she sounded very confused. She honestly had no idea what he was doing.. But the innocent smile on his face reassured her a little and she let him pull her closer. After all, anyone who looked that innocent couldn't be planning to do anything, right? Well.. She was proven wrong when he placed something in her hand. She blinked and opened her mouth to say something, but was prevented when he kissed her. That was enough to make her let go of the object, her eyes widening in shock but before she had time to react, she felt a small pain in the side of her head, so slight it was barely noticeable..
