Jade certainly had a busy day. Her freedom from work was short lived. Already she had three groups of genin sent on missions, and she could do no more until they came with the reports. Then it was more paperwork and issuing the ryo. Her mind briefly turned to Aeden, and she walked to the balcony in her office. From here she could see the coast, but not even her eyes could make out much detail. There were dozens of boats out in the sea and in dock, but Jade could not find Aeden. She wondered how their mission was going. Jade pulled herself away from the balcony and made her way to the opening in her office. A large space had been cleared and only a mat lay on the ground. Here Jade occasionally worked on her taijutsu, practicing motions and stretching. There were even times when Jade partook in yoga. For now she would stretch.
It was a wonderful way to relax the body and strengthen the muscles. Jade fought primarily with her own body and constantly tested herself to assure maximum ability. She removed all of her weapons, placing them on the edge of the mat. There were her two curved swords, the arrakh. Then the daggers she kept, as well as her scrolls and smaller projectile based ones. Once she was done Jade walked to the center of the mat and began. She raised her hands high above her head and met them at the palms. Jade began to bend her body forward, keeping her arms lined up. She pressed her palms into the floor with ease, having not bent her knees to do so. Jade leaned forward onto her hands, lifting her legs off of the ground and into the air. She placed one hand to the left and turned herself around. Jade slowly spread her legs until they stuck out to either side. She leaned slightly to the side and moved one hand behind her back, holding herself up with one.
And then the knock at her door. Jade uttered a silent curse to Kami before speaking. "Yes come in." She said loud enough for whoever it was on the opposite side to hear her. But Jade would not stop because she had company. Instead, she lowered herself down, bending her elbow as she straightened her legs. Jade slowly began to push herself back up until she was on her fingers, holding the position before lowering herself once more and then back up.

Yukika heard the invitation and accepted, placing her palm flat on the door and pushing with just enough force that it gave up resistance and opened for her. She stepped through, her thick soled boots clomping loudly against the floor even as she took normal steps into her Tsukikage's office. Even at first glance it was rather splendid, the idea that the building had been an palace long before could easily be seen in the whole building.
She took lazy deliberate steps until she was face to face with her superior. Well, face to face might be a bit of an overstatement. It was hard to be face to face with someone who was upside down in relation to her. She had heard how...unmodest Jade's normal dress was. And being upside down wasn't helping. Infact, Yukika felt rather like a monk compared to Jade. Shorts and leggings with Ankle high combat boots, her torso completely wrapped in bandages and a zip up sleeveless hoodie left only her arms completely bare. And she doubted that was exciting to anyone. More impressive than Jade's manner of dress was her finger push ups though. Being trained heavily in physical combat, she could easily admire the strength it took to do something like that, and it probably showed on her face.
Regardless, she was here for a reason. She lifted a hand to her mouth and coughed lightly to clear the air before speaking a bit. "Oi, Tsukikage. That's pretty impressive. But I was wondering if you might have an errand or anything I could run for the village. Or maybe a team that needs another member." Yukika lifted her arms above her head and stretched her fingers towards the sky before they fell back down her fingers interlocking as her forearms came to rest on her head as she finished out a yawn. The edges of her lips curled just barely, giving the slightest hint of a smile. She figured the kage was enough of a joking sort that she wouldn't mind a bit of playing around. "Unless you wanna take me under your wing and train me as your personal prodigy."

Jade did not stop her little workout. She switched hands, pushing herself up briefly and catching herself with the other hand. When Yukika spoke, Jade couldn't help but smile. This brought memories back to the last time she taken students. Their names were Kay and Akura, and they both had become her sons. She passed down everything she knew to them, even going so far as to give them an Uchiha inheritance. But they had perished in the Great Destruction. She closed her eyes for a moment and sent them a silent prayer before speaking. "Confidence in the new generations is always a pleasing sight. I've not had a student for many years now. What makes you think you are worthy?" Jade said openly and honestly. She was certainly not trying to be narcissistic, but Jade was famous for a reason. Her legacy could not be carried on by just anyone. Jade pushed herself up once more before placing both hands on the ground. She began to bend her legs over, placing them on the floor and then raising herself to her feet. "I have caused the rise and fall of many a empire, and felt the blood spray from my enemies as I rip the life from them. I have defeated monsters beyond your wildest imaginations, and bested the best. What of you?" Jade said, a smile. She crossed her arms against her chest and raised an eyebrow, awaiting a response.

Yukika was slightly taken aback by the fact that Jade had taken her completely seriously. She had just been joking...for the most part. Most genin could only ever dream about the Tsukikage training them. The most Yukika had ever thought she would end up doing is training a small squad..eventually. If it wasn't too much work. Maybe. She watched Jade rise up slowly. She knew the Tsukikage was impressive, and had no doubt in her mind at all that every single thing that she said was true, and perhaps even a little bit undertold.
She closed her eyes for a second and took her time thinking of what she might say to the woman. For all intents and purposes she was an average nin. She opened her eyes and prepared to speak. Normally she wouldn't want to speak SO much...but for Jade she supposed that was what she needed to do. She pulled her hood up around her head, something that seemed to comfort her."Hmm. Well, when you put it that way Tsukikage, I don't know that I can stack up. I'm average in most aspects. I haven't quite unlocked my Byakugan yet...I have a firm grasp of basic Jutsus..I am pretty quick, and I do like a good fight every once in a while." Yukika's hands dropped infront of her and she took a brief second to pop the knuckles in both of them, the thick cracking sound filling the room."My best asset would be...I am extremely willing to listen. And as my dear father likes so often to remind me..." Yukika seemed to stand up a little straighter, lifting her head up and suddenly seemed to emulate what so many people thought of Hyuuga; that stuffy, noble air that some had about them. "The best students know nothing, and learn everything." The more she thought about it she...probably hadn't done the best job on selling herself. She relaxed her body and waited for what Jade would say.

{We'll be starting the arc soon, so I don't want to put you in a serious engaging mission! Sorry ._.} Jade held a stern face for all of a moment before cracking a smile. Even though she cared deeply for her students that did not mean she would not hardball them. She had known it was a joke but wanted to see what Yukika would respond with. Jade was pleased. Yukika had answered in a very honest manner, and Jade even clapped. "You can calm down, I got a rise out of you." She said with a smirk, turning to grab the mission folder yet again. Jade flipped through it but frowned, shaking her head. There was not a single mission worth having a full fledged ninja handle. She would not send them on food runs or catching a stray animal. "Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anything worth having a ninja do. I'd suggest you brush up on your specified techniques. Perhaps pursue the unlocking of your Byakugan?" Jade was no expert in other dojutsu, but she recalled earning her Sharingan. It was a bloody and brutal experience, costing the lives of many.

Yukika's body relaxed even more, pulling her hood back down towards her neck. Most people would be disappointed that the Kage had nothing for them. But she seemed a bit relieved, and Jade had even given her a fair bit of advice. Plus, she hadn't even laughed at her! That was enough for Yukika, and more than enough excitement for her. One teasing by the Tsukikage in a day was more than enough. She lifted her foot and tapped the toe against the floor absentmindedly. "That's alright. Maybe a mission would be too much trouble right now anyway...I'll go work on something like you said." She slid her hands into the pocket of her sweatshirt and started to turn away, but stopped, bowing her head slightly before she walked away. "Afternoon, Tsukikage. Don't work too hard."

This was probably the third or fourth time, in all his years in the village, that Dan had to the Tsukikage's compound of his own volition: he had been dragged along a few times to do the odd task but rarely would he set himself up to endure her and therefore tended to avoid the place like the plague.
Not that he disliked the Tsukikage, in fact, in his mind she was a sort-of "friend", one of very few he had, he just found her presence tested his willingness to act on whatever reason brought him to her in the first place. Perhaps he was finally maturing and putting duty over his own discomfort and jealousy.
Dan breezed by ignoring the looks from the odd person he passed by, having scowled too much already that day, he had no intention of working his face even harder over his displeasure.
He edged the door open and slipped into her office with no care for etiquette: "Jade, I thought about all that hounding I've been getting to do ninja s**t. Any tips?"
Jade had given up trying to take a nap a long time ago. She was instead now reading scrolls and double checking information, filing reports and issuing money where money was due. Back in the old days much of this work was left to the Daimyo and their legion of secretaries and accountants. But everything ahd changed when the Fire Nation attacked Great Destruction happened. Now a lot of these duties fell to the Kages who had risen to reconstruct the world. Yes even Jade had people to help her, but there was always so much to do. Although it excited her that her Ninja were being so active it also threw on so much more work for her to handle. There were three files currently laid to the side, all waiting for the ninja to return with their reports and collect their money.
She had been so absorbed in her work that she did not even notice when Dan entered until he spoke. Jade raised an eyebrow and poked her head out from behind a file. When she saw it was Dan a smile touched her lips. There were some people truly gifted with the inherent trait of being beautiful, and Dan was one of them. He seemed sculpted by Kami himself, and was not afraid to show it off. Dan paraded about in a speedo and an incredibly tight jacket. Jade folded her legs at the knees and placed the file upon the desk, taking in a good look. Had he been just a few years older and not ragingly gay Jade would have taken Dan for the ride of his life. Her eyes flicked up to his and she began to speak. "Well Hello Dan, I have been waiting for you to come by. As for tips, there is always the path of training. A ninja must have a large arsenal if they hope to succeed. Unfortunately there are no interesting missions to be dealt with at this time. If you are truly in need of ryo I am sure there are people who need their dogs walked or food delivered." Jade said to Dan, taking another chance to observe his immaculately sculpted abdominals.

"As much as I love walking the dog, I daresay Aeden is far too committed to our lovely Tsukikage to let me put a leash on him" responded Dan, with a raised eyebrow, playing snark and wit against Jade's eyes, warding off her lecherous gaze as it sought to drink in the finer details of his body.
Dan moved across the floor to the desk and turning his back to Jade, sat on the very edge, making just enough contact for balance and no more. Jade herself was quite the beauty in the eyes of many, it was probably the reason why he got along with her... which meant basic pleasantries and vocal wit in Dan's mind. There was an empathy for her: she was of course at times judged by her looks and little else. The fools.
"Thanks for the tips, but it has been so long, I don't even know where to find the materials for training and anyway- you said you were waiting for me to come by: either that means you want my presence here for something in particular or have I really been slacking off that much?"
Jade smirked at Dan's comment. Aeden and Jade had a very open relationship. They could test any waters they wished just as long as the other knew of it. Both of them knew that no one would ever come between them, and the few who did no longer had a claim to the living world. His comment about the leash made her tap her lips with her finger twice in thought. There had been that time where Jade used a- Jade snapped out of that thought, knowing it would do no good at this moment. Perhaps later when Aeden returned from his mission...
"You would certainly be surprised then, Dan." Jade said with the mischievous look on her face. Aeden was definitely going to hear of this, and Jade would even fluff it up a bit and push him towards it. She so loved to toy with him. Jade leaned back in her chair, stretching her legs out on her desk before speaking again to Dan. "I have been awaiting your arrival. It took you so long I think I have gotten crows feet waiting in this pool of stress." Jade said, reaching up to her eyes and lightly rubbing the edge of it. It was certainly not true, merely a jest. "I have seen nearly every other genin pass through that door eager to train or run some missions, save for you until now. I was beginning to worry the girls had gotten you." Jade said with a smile, referring to the entourage that always seemed to be around the corner following Dan. "As for training, that is simple. The Library is Downtown, though anyone at the training grounds would be willing to help you. Unless you're seeking a more, personal lesson." Jade said, her smirk gracing her face once more. She knew of Dan's sexual alignment, but that would not stop her.

"But the other Genin lack our history, I may still be weak and inexperienced but only because I've chosen to live that way all these years."
Dan's right hand, which lay upon the edge of the desk, tightened its grip on the object, knuckles going white as Jade mentioned that blathering mass of hormonal idiots, though he calmed himself quickly turning vivid annoyance into simple distaste, his vice grip lessening as he relaxed..
"Well then, that's quite an offer, if the years have taught me nothing else... I have learned versatility and judgement enough to discern opportunity. You're quite the Taijutsu-ist if I recall the stories of you correctly, and I just happen to have spent much of my time lazing about developing the theory for a martial style but alas I have had no-one to help me develop it. Tell me, Jade... he paused, and looked over his shoulder with a wicked smirk, giving the Tsukikage ample warning of the pathetic joke incoming
"...can you still use your fists as well as you did back when dinosaurs roamed the nations?"
Isphet sighed and set the cage down outside the kage's office door before rapping on the door frame before swishing silently inside to a most peculiar situation... With a slight shake of her head she waited to be adressed. She was mildly impatient to get home and change. The slime on her was disgusting.
Jade listened to Dan as he spoke, slowly imaging what exactly his body looked like underneath the speedo and jacket. His attire was just as skimpy as Jade's, leaving just enough up to imagination to keep things interesting. She returned back to truly listening to Dan when he spoke of his want to bring to life a taijutsu style he had been developing. Jade herself did indeed excel in taijutsu, most of which dealt with countering, dodging, and speed related attacks. There were a few things she could do that would utterly destroy the targeted area with her body, be it on a person or a location. She preferred the method of wearing an opponent down and letting them set up the situatiosn for her to counter and then obliterate. But for Dan she would certainly help.
Jade cracked another smile at Dan's poke, lacing her fingers together and narrowing her eyes. "I may need to stretch my old limbs and shake the cobwebs off of me first." She said, turning her hands around and cracking her fingers all together. Before she could get up and body slam Dan to show him just how well she could use her body Isphet sloshed into her office, dripping into some unknown substance. Jade scrunched up her nose at the smell and leaned to the side to look at Ishpet fully. "I take it the mission went, swimmingly?" Jade said, cracking a terrible joke at Isphet's expense.

"Our time came and went by so fast, I now look back and make it last..."
Komuru made it to the office after his long walk from the port. He made his way through the doors again and found Isphet. "There you are, thought you fell off the boat or something. You left so fast and quietly it was hard to tell." Komuru said jokingly to Isphet. He put his back against the wall, near the door and chilled. He was tired, and he was actually ready to take a nap. He closed his eyes for a moment and then opened them and realized that there was someone else in the room. 'Well who's pretty boy.' He thought, not that he cared much.
There was a lot of genin running around the village, including himself. He just wanted to get this reward and get back to training. He had a lot to learn and a lot to catch up on. He felt powerless against a lot of those beast earlier.

Dan's nose wrinkled at the sudden smell and intrusion, he was having such an average time and now these kids were throwing off the whole vibe. He narrowed his eyes at them and decided to continue regardless.
Come now, I won't be deterred now that you've made the suggestion, you can multi-task can't you?"
Dan pushed off from the desk and took a few steps forward and then turned to face Jade anew, his stance shifting to one full openings but only because that's what he intended: his body was completely open to receive any attack but the counter-moves ensured this was nothing more than a farce.
"Attack me with a simple technique... but do try to restrain yourself, I'm still so young and tender."
