IosefKoranison It ruined the moment for me. xD Like when I saw Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring the first time. I'd already read the books so I couldn't feel the full sadness of Gandalf's apparent death, knowing he wasn't dead.
Heh heh, yeah, I suppose that's true. razz
Though I've watched all of the Star Wars movies more times than I can count, and I still get "wowed" every time the star destroyer flies overhead at the beginning of A New Hope, or be saddened when Han Solo is frozen in carbonite despite that I know he will return. And I can't help but feel sorry for Malakili when Luke kills his rancor in Return of the Jedi.
Than again I am a huge Star Wars nerd..

Yeah, I have the same reactions when I watch the Star Wars movies. I feel especially said for Malakili, though. Because I read the Tales From Jabba's Palace book, and it goes into his story in great detail.

Yes, that it did... "Circus Horrificus"... lol
I've read a buttload of Star Wars books... and comics... I have the full set of the Japanese Star Wars manga, too, and it's as awesome as one would expect from the combination of two awesome things: Star Wars and anime!

I haven't read the Japanese ones... And there's tons of books and comics I haven't read. But I've read a lot of them, still. I'm really curious to see what J.J. Abrams does with VII.

You and anyone else that has any interest in Star Wars. razz
Disney has got the money, I think that they'll be able to do something decent with it.
Still, the cancellation of Clone Wars, the undetermined postpone of Detours (not that I'm too sad about that one), and the postpone of 1313 does have me a little worried...

And I like the way Abrams handled the Star Trek reboot. So with the kind of money Disney has, he can afford to do whatever he wants. I hope that's good. xD Yeah I heard about the cancellation. Detours? 1313? What're those?

IosefKoranison Yeah. And I like the way Abrams handled the Star Trek reboot. So with the kind of money Disney has, he can afford to do whatever he wants. I hope that's good. xD Yeah I heard about the cancellation. Detours? 1313? What're those? Disney's done pretty well with Star Wars in the past, though their recent decisions have me a little worried. But they did Star Tours, and both incarnations of the ride are awesome, so I do have some hope... xd
But is it sad that Mickey Mouse has his own Jedi starfighter now? And that I really want to buy the toy of it? >>;;
That, and the Salacious Crumb plush... Who doesn't want a Kowakian monkey-lizard of their very own?
Star Wars: Detours was going to be a comedy series of cartoony Star Wars characters in various skits, something kind of akin to Robot Chicken, but not using toys, and it wasn't going to be adult humor, it was going to be much more family-friendly. Honestly, I'm kind of glad this got put on the back burner, it wasn't look too promising and a crappy comedy series is the last thing Star Wars needs. >>;;
Star Wars: 1313 is a video game that was going to launch for the PS3. It was listed as an action game with lots of story content and cinematic sequences... Basically, it was Uncharted in a Star Wars universe. It starred an as-of-yet unnamed bounty hunter and his descent into the Coruscant underworld in a level area called "1313". It looked pretty neat but Disney postponed it, wanting to tie it into the release of Episode VII, so I'm not sure what entirely that means... I don't know the game is going to be relatively the same but with it released closer to the movie, or if it's going to be completely changed and feature characters from the movie instead of that bounty hunter. Either way, it's not going to be on the PS3, that's for sure... Most likely it'll be PS4 at this point.
I'm not really sure what to think of 1313 being postponed... If it makes it better, than that's great, but there desperately needs to be a decent Star Wars game now, not in three or four years...
What worries me is that Disney doesn't seem to have much in the line of ideas for Star Wars between now and the new movies and spin-off movies. With Clone Wars gone and 1313 and Detours postponed for an unknown amount of time, there's really not much going on. Comics and an occasional novel aren't enough to keep people interested...

I'm not really a purist when it comes to things I like/love. I think the idea of a Mickey Mouse Jedi Starfighter is kinda cool. And Salacious Crumb plushie? WANT! emotion_kirakira Hmm... Yeah. I haven't been to Disney Land since I was 8 or 9 years old. And I'm turning 24 in June. But I did love the old Star Tours. Hmm... I think I would have enjoyed the comedy show, but I don't know. It might have given Star Wars the wrong image. And 1313 sounds like an awesome game! I hope they don't ruin it by turning it into a movie tie-in game. I hate those. Heh Heh, I was playing a game that involves drawing things, and I was supposed to draw someone tying a line of rope. But I drew a line of TIE fighters instead. xD "Squiggly line. Tie line. Tie again. Hang yourself." Was the prompt. So I drew another TIE fighter. Lol.

The plush actually looks pretty neat... I'm impressed with the amount of detail. Wish I knew how big it was, thought... I wonder if it's life-size? That would be epic.
I'm somewhere in the middle of a "purist". I'll complain if I don't feel like something fits in the Star Wars universe (or Gundam, or anything else I like), and yet the Star Wars Disney stuff amuses me... Heck, I have a number of Disney character figures dressed as Star Wars characters (Mickey as a Jedi, Mickey as Luke, Donald Duck as a stormtrooper and one as Han Solo, Goofy as Darth Vader and Chewbacca, Stitch as the Emperor and General Grevious, etc.) and Muppets as Star Wars characters... My R2-MK figure is one of my favorites-- a metallic red and black droid with Mickey ears... xd
Heh, it seems like I go to Disney World or Disney Land every few years now... Though that's mostly because of the Star Wars Celebration, which for the past two years has been in Florida and the year before those it was in California. I've ridden the old Star Tours and the revamped version too many times to count... >>;;
But that sounds mean about the game. Talk about confusing! xd

The first person draws something or says for the next person to draw something. So like, say I said, "Draw a chocolate bar." The next person would draw that. Then the person after that tries to describe what's in the picture. And it keeps going for a while. And when it got to me, all the person said was, "1. Squiggly line. 2. Tie line. 3. Tie again. 4. Hang yourself." So I drew a squiggly line, a line of TIE fighters, a solitary TIE fighter, and a dead person hanging from a noose. XD
