I'd like to add some constructive criticism for the cafe. (Sorry I haven't been posting in there.) >.< (I like administrative stuff and people poking and contacting and stuffs.) Anyway, I think we're getting a little away from our original goal with this thread. Our mission was to make a thread that somewhat resembled a room in the ball where guests could come and join us without fear of being left out. I'm kind of afraid that the RP has become an exclusive RP simply because everyone has an official character and is staff. I think it would work better if we had had three or four owners and workers for the cafe (the people actually in charge and making decisions), and everyone else has non-official characters like what the guests would have. What do you think? I mean, the current one is fun and has a ton of pages, but I just don't think it's accomplishing its purpose.

Well everyone except me and one other person has an official character and is staff thus probably why I've been godmodded, asked to leave the thread and referred to the OOC thread by someone who eventually went back to the RP thread but never came back to the OOC one where I was left hanging. It gives the thread a feeling of being a semi-private roleplay that is full, especially with the tacked on hotel where all the rooms except two are taken by staff. There's one taken by a guest and one open.... So while staff gets to essentially linger about, everyone else has to essentially physically leave and return each new day.

I had a thought, and I was hoping we could have a meeting about it. The current RP seems popular for the ball staff, but I don't think we're really pulling in guests like we should be. What would you think of continuing the cafe in its present state just for fun, but starting a new walk-in RP where only two or three people have official characters (staffers), and have it be more in the style of the ball where it's easy for newbies to walk in? Who would be up for it?

Definitely keep the cafe! That is such a fun thread! heart As for a new one...go for it! I can't make any promises that I'll be in there a whole lot, but...yeah. I don't know! I'm bad at making suggestions and stuff! sweatdrop

I honestly am waiting on the Halloween rp to be continued in Barton Town since it attracted quite a few non-guild roleplayers and we all wanted to show what our characters could really do. Spotted is in charge of setting that up I think so we're waiting on her. So in other words we have one like that in progress, there's only 6 or 7 main characters I think in the Halloween rp and we were very open to new people who stuck around to continue the fun.

I'm glad to hear it was such a success! biggrin I didn't have time to participate in that event, but I'm glad we attracted some attention. I was thinking of an ongoing walk-in roleplay, but then again, those people who have to be very dedicated to the thread. It would be a big task.

The idea of a walk-in RP sounds fun! I'd probably just make a non-official character in the new one if ever it got implemented, since I don't go on as much;; I think it would help invite more people as well.
