Sam turned around as the Scorpion came through and everyone started too freak out or attack it and he surprisingly stayed quiet as his mind screamed inside his head telling him too run like hell. After a second or two of debating with himself he went too a nearby fallen tree that was one of the smaller ones that would be durable enough as he did his best too get into a halfway point of full Lycan and human so he can hold the fallen tree.
Sam took a minute too get too a point where he could handle the tree too the best he could and he hoisted it onto his shoulder and went in the front of the Scorpion trying too get it's attention as the stinger came at him, the first time it missed completely due too Crimson making it stutter but the second time he got a firm hold of his fallen tree and rammed it into the Scorpions stinger as he heard it sink with a thunk as it became embedded into the tree with it's poison starting too get onto the tree he made sure too stay away from it as he realized the scorpion had lost the strength too lift his stinger up far enough due too loss of blood which leaved the stinger completely vulnerable.
Sam was about too go after it's stinger when his claws shot out of his hand tearing away what was left of his skin there and his fangs elongated when he remembered the bear and how Crimson let the two take it down as a team so he turned too Schuyler and smiled as he pointed too the scorpion with a clawed finger hoping she would understand the meaning.

M I A Mia held out her hand to stop the younger ones from interfering further. You three should stay here let us handle this, if you became seriously injured I would never forgive myself. Mia growled as she shifted, not even bothering to remove her clothes. It was easy to see she was different from the others. Her other form was much larger, standing up on two legs reaching twelve feet in height. She snarled as she grabbed a pincher and with a mighty pull ripped it from the body. She grabbed the other one and twisted it making it useless as she howled. She looked towards Crimson and nodded her head, knowing she would understand to move and quickly. She grabbed it's tail and swung the beast against a tree, cracking it's shell further.

Sam loses what was left of his smile as he heard Mia and he walkd towards another tree which was a fair way away from the scorpion as he leaped into a mid sized branch and landed on it turning too watch the others fight the scorpion and Shuyler was still there looking at the scorpion and he sighed at not being trusted enough too help.

Seeing everyone kick the scorpion into oblivion left me impressed and saddened. Roy walked up to it and cut its stinger to extract the poison and examine the other blood he saw. "I actually feel sorry it...-" he said as the scorpion's corpse turned to stone "-If was a 'real'."
Roy kicked the stoned body and turned to the others "This is a scorpion summoned by forbbiden arts. Where there is a summon, there is a master." I pointed in the direction to where our attacker came from. "Lets give that troublemaker our 'complaints' in full, anyone agree?"

(It's alright. Providing a little excitement with NPCs is alright though I was a bit surprised. I'm also curious to see who the 'summoner' is. It's not technically god modding since the scorpion is considered to be an NPC. I appreciate the concern though. ^^)
Crimson darted to the side as Mia began to take over the assault. She ran over to where Sam was resting. She moved behind a tree so she could properly shake her thick mane, she didn't want blood to get on anyone. Most of the gore was spattered across the bark but portions of her skin was still dripping from the aftermath of the battle.
She shifted back to her human form, her hair falling in a similar pattern as before. Various smears of red were visible on her pale flesh. She noticed Sam's demeanor and felt bad for him. "Hey, don't worry. It's not like the grizzly bear, this thing could easily kill one of us if we aren't careful." She watched as Mia made short work of the beast. It hardened into stone and she gathered this wasn't a native creature to these lands. "I got called back too, so don't feel bad. There's always next time," she gave him a reassuring smile.
Crimson was a bit disturbed by the information Roy provided them. Summoners running amuck in the lycan territory wasn't a cheery thought. "If someone is plaguing our lands with violence it would be best to take care of it as soon as possible but I believe that's for Mia to decide, she's the alpha." She leaned against the tree, resting against it with her shoulder.

Sam sighed as he leaned against the trees his back against the trunk as he nodded to Crimson for the effort but he didn't feel like talking at the time as he turned as human as he could in that time his eyes going back to his original hazel color in his eyes as he looked over the field below.
Sam took in the stone Scorpion and how Mia took it out as the log on its stinger broke off with the tip of it's stinger still within it. He started to wonder how Roy knew all of this but he decided that was a question to be asked by someone who would get answers anyway as he moved on to look at Shuyler.

Schuyler's eyes widened in shock at the sudden visitor. "Where the hell?!" This was the first time she'd seen something like this up close and it wasn't pleasant at all. Right in front of them was a giant poisonous scorpion that can just kill them all. Without wasting time, Schuyler shifted into her werewolf form, her bones expanded and reshaped, her black fur extracted from her pores.
After her transformation was complete, she was ready to fight the scorpion, she noticed Sam smiling and somewhat signalling her to join him to attack the poisonous creature. She smirked back at him, and was about to make a powerful pounce on the scorpion when Mia halted them, her voice filled with authority.
Schuyler frowned, but then realized it was for the best. The beast wasn't like the grizzly bear which was somewhat easy to take down. This was a poisonous creature and with just one sting, it could've killed them. She watched as their alpha female took down the venomous brute.
Once victory was theirs, Schuyler shifted back into her human form, her bones cracked and reshaped into a smaller size. Her eyes returned to it's enticing green color and her fur retreated back into her skin. With torn clothes, she walked over to Sam leaning on a tree in his human form. "Hey!" she hollered, hoping she got his attention. "You seem distressed. Cheer up! We'll take one down next time. Me and you, as a team, like before. Let's just say we're not ready for the big thing yet." She winked at him and gave him a friendly punch on the shoulder.
Schuyler looked over at Crimson and with a serious look on her face, she said, "Why would summoners be here in the first place? I thought this was the lycan territory? If summoners were actually here, they'd be trespassing, right?"
Schuyler felt very overprotective of this new home of hers. She didn't want anything bad to happen to this place especially to the lycans living here. With a heavy sigh, she leaned on the same tree where Sam leaned and let herself sink deep in her thoughts.※ ____✠ Schuyler Dawn Bane ✠____※

Sam smiled as he was hit playfully by Shuyler and he finally felt like he could talk again. "Right, thanks. Crimson thank you too for trying." He turned his head so both of the other Lycans that he trusted here could be seen.
"I think they would, but how have we not smelt or suspected anything like this before?" Sam lost most of his smile as his mind started to race with anything he could have missed that could be determined "magical".

(I see your point, making summons DOES sound godly. To me, making summons is like using advanced spells - thats what I think-. Next time I will warn you guys if I'm doing something extreme. ) "If someone is plaguing our lands with violence it would be best to take care of it as soon as possible but I believe that's for Mia to decide, she's the alpha." said Crimson and Roy who couldn't agree more nodded to her statment. " Crim's got a point, its the chief who calls the shots." Although I agree to what Crimson said, I will not take a 'no' for an answer if Mia tells us to stay.

Crimson became tired of standing and simply longed for a nap or a drink, possibly both. She moved her shoulder from the tree so that she could cross her ankles and fall into a sitting position, like she had done prior to the hunt and this little mishap with the scorpion. She scooted over so that she could properly lean her back against the rough texture of the bark, she did enjoy that feeling.
She had dealt with summoners before and they were very difficult to defeat even for someone with her experience and age. It worried her greatly that something like this had happened without her sensing it. "If I had to guess summoners are here on behalf of someone to wage war though I can't imagine who would dare break the peace the underground holds. A second guess is that they are possibly doing research or trying to add a lycan to their list of creatures to summon of course I could be entirely wrong but who knows." Crimson wasn't too concerned and wouldn't be unless Mia told her to. She didn't have the vitality and vigor of the young anymore, nor the overwhelming sense to distribute justice to the unjust. "They would be trespassing but if they are here on behalf of someone killing them could cause a war to erupt within the races but we would need proof of that before going against another territory. If they aren't here for someone else then we could just kill the, gut them, and eat them. Summoners do taste pretty good. And to answer your question, Sam," she continued, "Most summoners have a way of masking their scent...it's pretty common for any advanced magic user." Crimson momentarily shifted her gaze to Roy, she wasn't sure what to make of him yet. She thought that maybe she'd ask him to go on a hunt with her so she could learn somethings about him.

Schuyler listened closely as Crimson mentioned about summoners in the land. This was somewhat troubling for Schuyler. She wanted to do something about this mess, but she couldn't just do anything rash especially not without the consent of their alpha female.
She shrugged off the thought, then glanced at everyone, then to the frozen scorpion sprawled on the dirt. "Should we get back to the camp? Or maybe you guys would want to be on the look out for summoners?" She scratched her head sheepishly, and said," I actually need a new change of clothes. And I kind of left my daggers at the camp. I usually put them on my holster on my thigh. I can't stand a day without them." She looked down at her ripped clothes, then to her bare thigh which was missing a holster.
