He snorted, tossing his head anxiously. You will not go to juvie. And if you leave this place, you must take me with you. I need you... He allowed a small whimper to come out as he rolled away from her.

She gave a small smile and rolled over to scratch his ruff. "That's sweet. But I could hardly take a wolf from the woods."

She chuckled a bit then scootched over so she could bury her face in his fur, if he'd allow. She sent a wave of gratitude to all the animals around, and of peace, assuming he'd feel it too. that is.. the small part of her that was aware she was doing anything at all, assumed.

Her eyes closed, and she drifted off, dozing for nearly three hours when she sat up with a start and swore. "I have to get back. Tomorrow then?"

She gave him a warm smile, then another smile for all the other animals as she collected up the now empty Tupperware and shoved it in the cloth bag. bag over one arm she jogged back to the house, assured of pleasant dreams. For once. She hoped.
She returned the next evening, just before twilight again, furious. She had a pretty nasty black eye, a split lip, a cut across one cheekbone and she was holding her arm tight to herself with her other arm as she settled against a tree. She closed her eyes and just sat there, every so often turning her head to spit out some blood, always careful not to hit any of the animals that had come to cheer her up.

Eric sniffed the air, scenting blood mixed with his lifemate's smell. Instantly he loped off at a dead run, angry growls coming freely from him. Sit and tell me what happened. You are hurt and I was not there to protect you. Let me see your arm.

Do not lie to me. You would not have gotten all these injuries from a climbing incident. His heart was pounding out of his chest. She needed healed...but he didn't feel that she would accept his true form quite yet. Only one way then. He would have to stay as the wolf and do it. I want to ease your pain, you will let me, yes?
