Gggggrrrrr! I was almost finished with the second glove of my Ladylike Lace Gloves and I found an error I made on like the third row! It wasn't fixable. I had to frog the whole glove. So now I am back on row 6. Sigh. I usually don't bother to frog things, I try to fix it or ignore it but these gloves are turning out really cool so I want them to be done right.
I'm working on writing a pattern for a 70's inspired hat and poncho for a doll called My Friend Mandy. An email group I'm in is having a swap and since I don't have the space to lay out and cut fabric I figured I'd crochet something. The prototype for the hat went well and I've got my pattern notes written down. The poncho was a little harder because the doll's head is bigger than her shoulders are wide so I had to design in a neck slit so it would fit over her head and still sit on her shoulders. I had some problems with it earlier but now it seems to be going fairly well. There are still a few kinks to work out with the prototype but they look fairly easy to fix now. I can't wait until I get to go shopping for the yarn to make the finished product.

I just finished sewing myself a plaid skirt this afternoon, so now I'm back to working on my Turkish Rib tank and my crocheted bag. I also did the second dye bath for the 198 Countries Peace Project centerpiece. I'm also working on embroidering my first silk paintings. I'll have pictures of all of this...eventually.

I've got a request from one of my mom's teacher friend's to make a checkered hat for her son. I'm still making that baby blanket for my cousin. I unraveled what I was doing and am making a teddy bear pattern. It'll be cute. I've also got two scarfs to finish. One for me, one for my mom.

WIP: Ah! My second amigurumi!!
It's going to be a dog for my boyfriend's little sister. I've made his other sister a pig, and his brother a sheep. The pig was knitted and that sheep was my very first amigurumi. I will have pics of the sheep and pig as soon as his mother sends me the pictures. Silly me, I forgot to snap them before I gave them to them.
