~0oOo0o~A book left unread.. Is a hundred lives not lived.~0oOo0o~ The ai was cool and the sun warmed her skin as she walked the streets exploring more of the new city. Her eyes caught a familiar word on a shop sign and they lite up. Finally A book store! There was something about walking into a place full of boundless books, the smell of the paper, the atmosphere and always a welcoming place. With out a thought Luka was stepping inside, you never know what adventure waits you until you open the binding of a book. Luka's life before moving her was a little to thrilling, but drama, adventures, romance and danger in books seemed to always be better than what she'd encountered so far in her own life. Noticing the shop was not completely empty she did her best to avoid the two men who seemed to be talking with one another. Luka found herself looking at the books her finger tips moved along the binding looking for something that caught her attention. If Luka could she would do nothing more than spend hours in a place such as this looking for that one book. Luka was just happy during her unpacking she'd found the money had thought she'd spent.. It was very difficult not to just spend it all on the five books she'd already wanted to buy... He headed straight for work early this morning and spent his day arranging books in the shop according to their genre and chapters. Angel had gone to England for two weeks for his photoshoot and it felt weird without his presence around the house. Vixen received the calls from Angel and the fox managed to ask if he was alright, if Jezebel had harmed him in any way. Angel reassured him countless times but something felt off. Something felt.. strange. If his worry wasn't enough, to make things worse, he read the model's private journal: his apology letter, his potion drinking incident, his.. 'love' towards Crevan. The silver haired fox shook his head and continued rearranging the books, only to realize he had organized them in the wrong order. He heaved a sigh and removed the books from the shelf. His mind was clouded with inappropriate thoughts as he recalled the lucid dreams regarding Angel. He's coming back soon, probably the reaching the next day or so. How is he going to face Angel? What is he going to say? Should he be honest and apologize for reading his journal? Should he pretend nothing ever happened? The fox was on the brink of flipping a table until he picked up a familiar scent. No. It reassembled his scent though there's something different from it. He got up and walked down the aisle as he tried to pin point where exactly the scent came from, who it belonged to. His tails swung almost in an excited manner. A ninetails? No, not likely. The presence didn't feel strong enough. He took a turn and headed into the next aisle. There, he laid eyes upon a beautiful woman. Her pink locks of hair shone beneath the artificial light, her sapphire irises sparkled each time the soft rays of light gleamed off the surface of her eyes, her porcelain features, her long and luscious eyelashes.
Oh?
Crevan quickly turned his head away, noticing he had been staring a tad too long at the woman. There was something strangely alluring about the woman, something irresistable. He could feel an invisible force dragging and tugging at him in her direction. What is he going to say? He was panicking but once he opened his mouth, the words slipped out almost too naturally. "Good morning, miss. How may I be of service?"
He paused.
Is this the right time to ask? Is it now? Should he? Should he not? Would it be rude? Thoughts and questions crashed into his mind all at once and the fox was tongue tied all of a sudden, completely unable to utter a single word. His features cringed noticeably. What happened to the smooth talker he once was? "I'm terribly sorry but.. if you don't mind me asking. What.. are you?"

Sage smiled at the unanimated and calm looking blonde, his personality not precisely a beaming one like his sibling's. It was quiet in here for the first few moments, and as another individuals stepped inside, the entrepreneur moved closer to the more familiar employee of the two in sight. "Yes. What material can you offer me about fashion trends over the last decade or so?" He asked, adjusting the strap to his bag on his shoulder as he inquired. He didn't think Ben caught his jester in the way he'd addressed him, as if he hadn't meet him in the cafe in the weeks before. It only seemed to amuse the pale skinned male more so than not, his nostrils flaring as he inhaled a deep breath and cleared his throat.

~0oOo0o~A book left unread.. Is a hundred lives not lived.~0oOo0o~ Luka had found an older looking book and was carefully reading over the first few pages. The paper was of a high quality.. She could tell someone put a lot of time and effort into this book. In which it made her want to read it even more. The books read as letters sent from a man named Morris Graves to a woman named Jane Lockett. Luka was already set on taking this book home with her but couldn't pull herself away from reading more of its pages. Each few pages where a letter. The text looked hand written unique to the person said to be writing the letters. As she continue to stand reading the book she felt something.. Something that drew her from the magical words of the heavy book in her hands. Glancing up from the pages she'd noticed a handsome man... His ears and tail where a clear give away seeing him standing down the isle just turning his head.. Luka felt a little on edge seeing him because of the scent he carried and the fear that he might know something about her.. Hiding her true form form from humans seemed easy enough but around others like herself not so much... Luka looked back to her book trying not to stair to long at the man. Just then she heard his voice calling out to her, but she looked both ways to make sure it was her he was greeting.. Hi voice was alluring just as his looks where and Luka knew trouble when she saw it. "Good morning... I'm just browsing currently...." She stated trying to act as if there was nothing strange, appealing or unusual about there greeting... In her mind it seemed like the most awkward waltz.. Hugging onto the book as a shield almost, as she gazed back looking to the shelves. She was nervous but maybe he worked here and was just ding his job greeting customers, but glancing back at him she noticed his brow furrow as he spoke again. Seeing him in such at strang state made her confused, but smile. The question he'd asked was one she didn't exspect right away and out of the blue.. Luka meet his gaze and seemed swept up by the beautiful color of his eys.. Blushing slightly realising this she looked away "I'm bookworm," What else could she say, she didn't want people to know she was Kitsune... "Um.. Do you have more books by this author..?" Luka held out the book showing it to him, hoping a change of topic might make him drop his questions. It felt strange, the atmosphere both tensed and awkward though it leaned more towards the latter. His ears flickered ever so slightly when she spoke. Her voice was soft and feminine. It was music to his ears but she sounded tense and on edge, as if she's attempting to hide something from him. It didn't look as if she was shoplifting and he decided to brush it off for the time being. He didn't want to pursue that subject, it was against the policy to cause discomfort to his customers. The woman didn't seem to want to answer his question and he decides not to ask her any further. She didn't have Inari's scent on her, or at least, he couldn't pick up any scent of Inari. He shrugged. A bookworm, so she says. Crevan chuckled, deciding to save the question for later. "Well, you wouldn't be here if you aren't one." he chuckled, golden orbs trailing to the books on the shelves until she asked him questions regarding the author's books. He took a quick glance, noticing the familiar front cover. It was one of the books he was busy arranging earlier.
"Ah, it's in the next aisle. I'm still arranging them but feel free to take a read of you like. Anything for a beautiful lady such as you." he stated, a finger gently brushing against the bottom of her chin before his long legs carried him down the aisle and back into the one he came from. The books were still in their relative boxes but most of them were already on the bookshelf.
"There they are. Go ahead and browse through them. I'll be here if you need me." he stated before he went back to his business. His movements stopped abruptly and he turned back towards the woman, a smile upon his chiseled features. "I'm Crevan, by the way."

Sage was pleased to know that some type of material was laying around afterall, but instead of varying arrays of old publications, Ben hinted that he had exactly one book with everything in it. In fact, he said it was rare. His brows raised curiously, fingers knitting together as he vaguely questioned the validity of such a book. If it were true, Sage would gladly took the book off his hands and added it to his personal library at home. "Delightful! Let's have a look at it and hopefully it's everything I need." The mushi complied softly with a nod, trailing not far behind the blonde as he began passing through the isles. "Is it usually so quiet around here?" He continued on absently, shining orbs scanning the room as they strayed further away from the other two people present. It was slightly uncomfortable for him, as silence and empty spaces often presented unpleasantries. It was one reason why he himself would never apply to work in a library or small bookstore. Any place that didn't stay busy or even slightly crowded.

"Trust me, it's worth the exorbitant price since you are a fashion enthusiast yourself." As he allowed the other to follow him, the white-haired man questioned about the taciturnity of the place. With azure orbs scanning through multiple titles until he could find the book, he replied. "Quiet if there are not many customers flocking around. But now, since it's a sunny day, it will be buzzing with some activity. In fact, my co-worker is busy helping out another customer as well."
Finally, he had spotted the title he was looking for. Meticulously, he pulled out the hard-bound book from the shelf, still encased in its plastic packaging, and showed it to him. ~0oOo0o~A book left unread.. Is a hundred lives not lived.~0oOo0o~ Luka sighed heavily feeling bad that she was acting so weird and strange, even to someone just curious and friendly such as the fox before her. She'd made the air around hem dense with just her words, 'A new skill I've learned... Awkward, dense air...' Her thoughts didn't help to the situation. However the handsome man didn't pry and his chuckle to he remark made her smile. It was a like a gentle welcoming of a warm breeze that broke the air. At this point she was wishing she had said something more clever. How Luka now wanted to here what his laughter sounded like.. His words drew her back to looking at him then to the book she'd fallen madly in love with. She was thrilled that he's seen more from the same author her eye lit up looking up at him. Luka was a little taken back however as he continued to talk and then his touch sent chills thru her body.. Blushing faintly she tried not letting him see that he had an effect on her.. In her mind she didn't want people to think she was a hopeless romantic.. but she was.. His teasing her was something so foreign but not all unwanted.... "You must sell a lot of books with moves like that," she stated while fallowing him to the isle "Thank you for showing me where they where... Is it really okay for me to look at these while you are working on putting them on the shelf? I'd rather not get in your way.." Luka sat next to the box of books her fingers brushing the book covers softly before looking back up at him. She heard him introduce him self and she smiled, "Crevan.." Luka tilted her head slightly as she repeated his name and she thought about how many books she'd read with men like him inside there pages.. He was something out of a novel, most likely the one Luka would be routing the main character to fall in love for.. but never does.. "I'm Luka Kami... Pleased to meet you Crevan" She was lost in that handsome smiled of his and those right and beautiful gold eyes... but couldn't seem to look away from him... When she finally did she noticed how she was sitting.. Just like a child in front of a toy box and blushed forcing herself to stand back up off the floor.. However she didn't care where she was when reading a good book. Laundry mats.. The arcade had to have been the strangest and loudest environment... Selling books that way? Crevan chuckled. Perhaps he should try doing so. It was something he enjoyed doing, teasing reactions out of people for the small entertainment. His smirked, knowing he had triggered a small reaction out of her. If he hadn't, he'd do it a couple more times just to see her falter beneath his gaze.
"Really? Then I assume it's working on you?" the fox stated, crouching down and removing the books from their seperate boxes. The woman was hesitant, and he figured she had a point too but it wasn't anything too hard to solve. He took one out of each box and placed them aside for easy access. He figured it would be easier than having another pair of hands fiddling in the box while he attempted to arrange them.
"I took them out for you if it's more comfortable that way. You love reading, don't you? It's not hard to tell from the way your eyes sparkled when you held the book in your hands. Quite a beautiful sight if I must say."
It was true in many ways. He enjoyed watching people, women in general but what he enjoyed even further was the way they looked when they're doing something they love, something they enjoy whole heartedly. The way their eyes would light up, the way their lips would curve up into a smile. The feeling he gets is indescribable. It was beautiful. His thoughts were abruptly cut off the moment she spoke his name. He liked the way his name rolled over her tongue and he chuckled ever so slightly. She introduced herself. "Luka," he paused, "A pretty name well suited for a pretty lady." he stated, his hands moving swiftly as he placed books up against the shelf but something felt off. He felt a pair of eyes staring intently at him and when he turned around, for a split second, he saw a drooling child. Startled, he blinked a couple of times, realizing it was just Luka, who then seem to realize she had been staring a tad too long. Crevan laughed, finding it to be quite an adorable sight. "Keep staring at me with your beautiful eyes and I might just fall in love with you." he joked and proceeded to ruffle her pink tresses with his hands. It was his reflex action, something he did all too naturally to his twin sister, and naturally, he automatically did it to others, too. Things fell silent and he allowed her to do her browsing in peace and quiet. He was crouching, arranging books in the lower shelf until an idea struck his mind. The fox turned towards her and nonchalantly brought her hand to his lips, golden irises locked onto sapphire ones.
"Have you eaten? If not, may I have the chance to take you to dinner?" he asked, then pressed his lips onto the back of her hand.

~0oOo0o~A book left unread.. Is a hundred lives not lived.~0oOo0o~ She couldn't argue if she didn't know better she'd buy what ever he suggested to her with his good looks and smooth talking.. However being a kitsune she could withstand his charms slightly better.. "Maybe if I was normal... but I'm already in a love affair with Marcous Valquer. and boy is he a hard man to say no to." Luka joked speaking of a character from a very romantic novel.. She didn't think he'd get the reference even if he worked in a book store he didn't seem like the type to know such things... She blushed when he commented on how she eyed the books, "Thanks... Most people just think its weird.. I got caught in the rain one night and hide in an arcade for shelter so my book wouldn't get ruined.. People there thought I was quite strange.. but then again a strange place to be sitting and reading a book..." Luka touched her hair behind her ears watching him work.. Hearing her name from his lips gave her butterfly but she tried not letting that show on her face but he'd already caught her gawking at him.. "Thank you Crevan.." She looked away from him hearing him teasing her. "Sorry, just you almost seem like a character from a book I've read before.. Its uncanny how similar you both are.." It wasn't a complete lie just a little bending of the truth on her part.. She felt his hand on her head and looked to him shocked but really couldn't get mad at him.. He felt like an old friend for some odd reason.. As he went back to work she gazed back at the books trying to look through and find ones that she'd like to take home.. but was still slightly distracted.. Until he took hold of her hand again she looked back over to him seeing those eyes staring at her and his soft lips she felt his breath on her skin making her cheeks flush.. "Umm.... Not really.. " her stomach growled at the sound of food.. She'd been to wrapped up in her last books she skipped dinner last night, breakfast this morning and lunch... Only at this point did she realized she might need to eat.. Blushing slight brighter red.. "I kind of skipped some meals.. I got really into a book an just finished it today." Marcous Valquer? It sounded familiar. His eyebrows furrowed, wondering just where exactly he had heard it before. From Vixen, if he isn't mistaken. She was as obsessed with books as he was. Twins, nonetheless except she was obsessed with romance novels and he wasn't. "A romance novel perhaps?" he asked, golden irises filled with curiosity. He soon took notice of the faint blush that clouded her features upon hearing his compliment. He wondered why she'd think such a sight would be weird. It was the same for everyone, whether it be books or pets. The look of satisfaction and love on their face, it was priceless, so very beautiful but when she told him the story regarding the arcade, Crevan could understand why people would think it's weird. No one would read a book in an arcade. "It's a little strange indeed but you're not the only person to do such a thing, no worries. I'm about the same." he laughed. It was the same for him. Any place is suitable for reading as long as one sets their mind into it.
He went back to his business, only having a sudden outburst of laughter when she said he looked like a character out of a book. Was he? It struck a curiosity, he wondered what exactly was so similar between them. "Oh? How so?" he asked, another outburst of laughter at the sound of her stomach grumbling. Skipping meals for a book? It seemed likely for someone who loves reading, someone obsessed with reading to be precise. All the more reason for him to take her out for lunch, really. Crevan took a quick glance at his watch, taking note of the time, which appears to be closing into noon. He made a mental note to finish up his work as quick as possible to sate his fellow companion's hungry. "Don't lose track of time. Don't want to ruin your pretty face with the lack of nutrients now, would you?" he answered, flashing a quick glance in her direction. He was half done with the books, thinking it'd be best to head out for lunch once he was done. Choosing the books can wait for later, proper meal time was what's important at the moment.
"We'll head out in twenty, yeah? Don't want to keep that belly of yours waiting. How does.. Taste of Italy sound? My treat."

~0oOo0o~A book left unread.. Is a hundred lives not lived.~0oOo0o~ Crevan seemed to nail it when it came to the character she'd named earlier and looked at him quite impressed.. "A man who reads romantic novels how curious... I'm very Impressed Crevan.." She figured maybe he just had been questioned about the book to many times that he recognized the name.. She'd place hr money on it but then again she didn't want to chance it. It was a relief that he seemed not to confused by the story of her adventures into an arcade. They seemed to have a lot in common it made her curious as to where the strangest place was that he'd ever read a book would have been.. Hearing his laughter it made her smile looking at him, the awkward air had all but vanished around them.. "I can't quite place my finger on it, but then again I read to many books and only having them pieced together could they compare to you..." She paused thinking for a moment at her words.. "Sorry that was very strange of me to say.. I meant I've read book with characters all with similar qualities such as your self." She tried correcting her statement so it would sound better and less embarrassing... Then she noticed him glancing at his watch thinking about getting lunch together... "Don't rush on my account, I mean I can get food on my own.." she felt like he was worrying a little too much over a stranger telling her that she shouldn't forget to feed herself but then again Luka knew he was right.. "At least let me help you with this if you really want to go out for food... I like Italian food... Pasta's my favored meal.." Luka ha been watching how he was placing the books, the order and fashion and knelt slowly helping him put the books on the shelves.. "Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't read romance novels. My sister does. She'd tell me everything about it whenever she gets the chance. She'd start asking me to behave like them and addressing me by their names. It's scary, I tell you."
Wearing tuxedos on a normal day, forced to behave and act like the characters in the novel, forced to become a dress up doll for Vixen. He shook his head and heaved a big sigh, wondering if Luka was the same. He hope she isn't, it's tiring enough to be a single person's play toy, he'd crumble if he were to become one of Luka's roleplaying partner too. He fell silent, finding the idea quite horrifying, deciding it was best to just keep such thoughts to himself. The topic soon returned to how she thinks he reassembled a character from a book. "Well, I hope you're not referring to characters that annoy most readers." he joked, setting the final remaining books onto the bookshelf, getting his job done rather quickly with Luka's help. He felt bad having a customer help him with such things and felt the need to treat her to lunch, in which he will in a few minutes time. He brought the empty boxes into the storage room once he flattened them and once he made sure everything was stocked, he locked the door behind him and headed back towards where Luka sat, golden irises gazing at the woman who told him not to worry about her. He couldn't help it. His twin was such a baby he had slowly turned into a housewife overtime just to babysit her sorry a** and make sure he took proper meals other than the sugary delights. He shook his head at the thought of Vixen, wondering just why exactly she doesn't take proper care of her own body. His overly protective and worrisome nature soon rubbed off on him and it turned into something he'd do on the daily basis such as nagging a person who doesn't take proper care of themselves and whatnot. He was a hypocrite though. Despite his complaints, he can be caught doing the exact same mistakes such as skipping out on meals because of a certain activity. "Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to nag you. It just slipped." he chuckled and took a glance at the watch. His shift was over, he was free to go. "Well, I'm off the job. Wanna grab lunch? I'm pretty hungry myself."

~0oOo0o~A book left unread.. Is a hundred lives not lived.~0oOo0o~ Hearing that he only knew that because of his sister was strange even more that he was forced to dress, and acting. "That must be rough... I like the men in the books however I would never goes as far and make a man I know become one.. Not saying its bad.. just a little strange.." She felt a little bad for him now and wondered what he was like before the sister had started molding him into what he is today... "I'm really curious to see what you where before hand... I mean I love sitting in nothing but shorts and a baggy light sweater. But publicly I do have to get decent for public..." She waited for him to finish his work and laugh when he apologized for nagging about her eating habits. "No need to apologize, I should pay more attention to when I need to eat.. Its kind of nice for some one to care about your well being.." After leaving home she was alone and just had made a few acquaintances in town so all in all she was lonely and alone... Luka snapped out of her thoughts and nodded "Yeah lets go..." Luka placed the book she'd had been holding onto back on to the shelf... She would come back for it..
