Foxpaw hissed as Snakekit was pulled back by the tail. Foxdung! he thought as he stalked forward snarling at the kits in front of him.

Emberpaw knew he had to do something. Then and then an idea came to him. "Foxpaw! Our mentors said we have to practice our fighting skills! In the clearing. One of those mock battle thingys." the brown and yellow apprentice called out to his brother.

I'll be getting all the training I need here ,brother. Besides the warrior code doesn't really teach one how to kill a opponent so that they'll never bother you again! Your Starclan won't save you now. the reddish apprentice snarled as he sent a blow at Novakit.

we stayed like that for a while, when suddenly i smelled something
what is that i mewed sniffing the air
stormclaw sniffed as well its coming from farther that way he pointed with his tail indicating the edge of our territory
should we go check? i mewed itching for something exciting to happen

Snow laid down beside her already sleeping brother and looked up at the stars. They are so pretty. she thought as she drifted off to sleep.

Novakit dodged the blow. She couldn't believe this was happening in the middle of camp! The other warriors wouldn't allow this is they saw. "Emberpaw, go fetch Jaggedsoul, or a warrior, or someone! This is getting nasty." She turned and smiled at Foxpaw. She began purring.

I can't he's my brother. I know what he's doing isn't right but he's still my brother. the brown broad-shouldered apprentice mewed like a newborn kit.

What are you purring about ,crowfood? Foxpaw yowled before taking another swipe at Novakit.

"I'm purring 'cause you're sooo cute!" she said, mocking him, then ducked, so close to the swipe that she could feel the breeze as his claws passed overhead. She knew what she had to do. Foxpaw had to be stopped one way or another. The only way the rest of the clan would know about Foxpaw's ways was if there was evidence of him doing something bad... like hitting a kit. Novakit must get hit, but first...
Novakit swooped in and raked her claws on Foxpaw's leg. She knew she was too small to really make a difference other than a slight sting, but now she had his fur snagged on her claws.
She prepared for the final blow. With Starclan's help, nothing she couldn't recover from would happen.

Emberpaw thought up another idea. "Foxpaw if you hurt them ,you won't get to be clan leader."

Foxpaw glared at Novakit not only had she dodged his blows again but she had clawed him. Sure it was just an annoyance of a wound, but it was still an insult to his skills. The reddish apprentice remembered his ambition and how bad it would look if two kits died with his red fur in their claws. "Just don't get in my way again!" he called out before padding towards the apprentices' den.

Whitekit
Whitekit nodded, too shocked by her dream to speak. As the pair of cats turned to leave a voice called softly to her from the pool. The path you seek lies in Dawnfrost's pawsteps. Whitekit stopped for a heartbeat, then followed he medicine cat back to camp. As they crossed the river on the camp boundry Dawnfrost stepped in some mud, but didn't seem to notice. She's too focused on telling Willowstar. Whitekit concluded. She tried to follow Dawnfrost, but something made her gaze drift to the pawprint left in the mud. In the middle of the impression Whitekit saw a small seed. It looked like the poppy seeds from the medicine cats den, except, this seed was pure white. "White poppy..." Whitekit murmured. She picked up the small seed and carefully made her way to the nursery. She found a small hole in the wall by her nest and carefully placed the seed in the light. Suddenlty what Iceblaze said before she left the moonpool became clear. The path you seek lies in Dawnfrost's pawsteps. Whitekit was meant to be a medicine cat. "I asked for my future, and now I have it." She mewed quietly. She looked at the small white poppy seed one last time and gently smoothed it over wth a layer of dirt. Whitekit looked at the sky and said a prayer to Starclan. "Thank you Iceblaze." Whitekit bounded from the nursery to find Dawnfrost and tell her of her dream from Starclan.

Novakit was wide-eyed as Foxpaw walked away. She looked towards Emberpaw. "Thank you." she meowed reluctantly, she never liked complimenting or thanking anyone. "I guess I was pretty lucky that I didn't get hit. Starclan was with me." 'But apparently not with him... he doesn't even believe...' She paused, looking uncertainly at Emberpaw. They were kinmates, after all.. "Why are you keeping this a secret? You have to tell someone." she suddenly demanded loudly, "Otherwise, you're an accomplice!" She glared at him with accusing eyes.

Emberpaw mewed "You don't get it! Our mother died when we were born and as soon as we opened our eyes, our father died from infection. He's my only family left. I know what he does isn't right, but we'll all the other has. Foxpaw hates Starclan for making it so. I just am more loyal to my brother than to my clan because of it. Imagine your father a ambitious deputy dying of wounds that shouldn't of been infected in the first place right after telling you that you and your brother should be leader and deputy of the clan and that you should keep it from being destroyed by any soft-hearts who would let Thunderclan, Windclan and Shadowclan boss them around. He's just doing what our father told him before dying." before padding off towards the apprentice den.

The shecat made her way down the winding hill towards the Thunderclan camp Willowstar needs to know this. Dawnfrost bursted throught the thorn barrier and scampered to willowstars den. WILLOWSTAR!

Novakit glared at Emberpaw's tail as he walked off. She caught up, and trotted by his side, saying "Did your father tell you to kill people?! I think not! Your brother is out of control, and you know it! And no, I have no idea what it's like, because I don't even know where I'm from! I'm not even from Shadowclan! I might be from one of the other clans, or from a rouge, or maybe even a kittypet! I have absolutely no idea who or where my family is, and if they're alive or not! I'm alone. I have no one. I don't even have a brother, like Foxpaw does. I suppose that gives me the right to kill all of Shadowclan when I'm older!" She jumped in from of Emberpaw, stopping him in his tracks. "There is no excuse for killing a kit." Novakit declared, then said more quietly "If Foxpaw ever became leader, he would lead us into destruction. He is like Tigerstar, reborn." She waited a few minutes to let it all sink in, glaring right into his eyes, then padded away.

Ember felt a heat of temper rising in him. "At least you don't remember. We thought our father would live to see us be warriors that we had our share of death while we were in the nursery. But no, our father was taken from us too. Right after we really got to know him. He wouldn't lead us into destruction. He wants Shadowclan to be the only clan. He hates how the other clans hurt us." he said before rushing into the apprentice den his dark brown tail lashing behind him.

Foxpaw heard Novakit's declaration and his brother's heated response. "She is such an annoyance. Really if there was any good time for a fox find our camp then this would be it. Right ,brother?" the reddish furred apprentice growled as he curled up in his nest ,clawing at the bracken and moss.
Nightkit
Nightkit held her ground as she heard something crashing through the undergrowth. She sat teeth bared and clawed unsheathed until the one who was making all the noise appeared. Dawnfrost! A bad message from Starclan? she thought as she flatted her fur and followed the medicine cat to hid just outside the entrance ,wanting to learn what was happening.

Novakit's whiskers twitched, 'There are four clans in the forest! That's how it's supposed to be! They don't get it, if Shadowclan was the only clan, that would be horrible! So many cats in one clan is bad news. I mean yeah, our clan could be bigger, that would be great, but all four clans under one leader? There's bound to be rebellions and chaos.' The tabby brown kitten stalked off, fed up with the two brothers. She looked around to check if anyone was watching, then sprinted out the camp entrance. She needed to take her mind off the whole dilemma. Maybe she'd see if she could find any herbs for Jaggedsoul! That would prove that she is worthy to be a medicine cat. She smiled at the idea. 'I wonder what my name would be', she though as she strolled through the forest. She stopped. There were dead trees and spongy ground to her left, and a lush forest with green grass to her right. She decided that herbs were most likely to be where green things grew, and she turned right. 'Novawhisker the medicine cat. Novaleaf the medicine cat. Novapool the medicine cat. Novatail the medicine cat.' She chuckled, for Novawhisker sounded ridiculous in her small ears. She stopped in her tracks. 'Omigod. I think I'm in Thunderclan territory. Its supposed to be very dense undergrowth... ' A sound! A crackle of leaves.. She bolted underneath some tree roots. It was a tight fit, but even the smallest apprentice couldn't get her now. 'I might just be in a good part of Shadowclan, but better safe than sorry,' she thought. 'I'll wait here until I'm sure it's safe. It could have been a mouse, but it also could be a Thunderclan warrior or a fox or something!' She shivered at the thought.
