Dallol, Squire of Uranus
As soon as the crystal shard was sent sailing through the air towards the greater youma's belly, Dallol didn't bother sticking around to find out what happened to it.
Sweeping her gaze across the battlefield, she located the rampaging General Queen easily, wanting to make sure that she was nowhere within the Negaverse leader's vicinity so that she could focus her attention entirely on how to bring down the greater youma that was still flying overhead, raining fire and swinging its spiked tail at those whom it chose to show its immense displeasure towards.
Grabbing a rock from the ground, she swung her arm back to send it towards the youma's side when it flew past this time, coughing a few times while she rubbed at her eyes that were beginning to tear up and burn from the smoke irritation. Higher ground. She needed to relocate herself before the smoke incapacitated her and made her a sitting duck amidst the chaos that was happening all around her.

Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade
He sat there, looking up and gritting his teeth as the wings beat down a strong wind that had him curling in. The fire was even worse, and he coughed hard against the suffocating smoke as it spilled about the battlefield.
When the smog cleared, he took in the dragon dropping scales and bellowing out as it turned and continued its assault.
Watching, he looked in time to see another senshi pour starseeds into Valhalla's pockets. Eyes wide, he rose up slowly, staggering to one side before he knelt down again, taking deep, measured breathes.
Rising up, he threw his weapon once more and felt dizzy after. Immediately after he was done with attack, he stumbled over to Valhalla and reached into his pocket for a starseed.

Eternal Athene & Mauvian Liryn -- with Alcor, Eleonora, Gorner, Grus, Subamara and Ananke
"Yes, let's go" Athene's quiet voice was more of a hoarse croak than anything else, but it was there as he looked wanly at those gathered round him and Grus.
The makeshift ice pack slash bandage that Eleonora and Alcor had created had helped a little, although it wasn't enough to all but a part of the pain, however the dark-haired eternal knew that they couldn't stay where they were.
He managed a small murmured thanks to the twins, before looking over to where Grus, Subamara and the red and yellow-haired senshi (Ananke) where, and watched as Subamara moved to support Grus and then looked to Liryn lying quiet with Eleonora and then Gorner.
"I can't promise to be much help" because whilst the General Queen hadn't hit him quite as badly as she had got Grus, Athene knew that he probably wasn't going to be up for much and that magic was out. "But I'll try to..." he broke off on a cough.
In fact walking was probably not the best of ideas, but it wasn't as if he had much of a choice because there was a dragon youma flying around and falling crystals crashing down and around and that wasn't even counting the General Queen that was still around somewhere.
"I'll do what I can" he finally managed. "Although we're all going to have to work together on this."
-------------------------------------
"I'll help too."
The small tired voice came from the direction of Eleonora's hood as Liryn peeked his head out to look at the group around them with solemn purplish eyes.
"Or at least I'll try to" because whilst he didn't think he was up that much he was part of the group too.
"I might be able to do another kitty beam if it comes to it." Although Liryn knew that if he somehow managed it, that it would very likely end up taking what little energy he had left which meant that it would truly have to be a last resort thing.
If it came to it and for the group he would try though...
Valhalla thought they were doing well, all things considered. There was still Laurelite to deal with, of course, but the appearance of a greater, fire breathing, youma seemed to rally the troops and encourage people to fight together instead of standing back and watching. Even Castor seemed to be doing something now, although Valhalla tried not to feel too bitter about it, since had he offered assistance sooner, maybe Ganymede wouldn’t have used up all her energy.
He took another step back as various people tried getting up onto the youma to ride it. Even he didn’t think that was the best idea, but whatever would distract it was better for him.
Gevaudan stumbled over to him, and strangely reached to get something from his pocket. The starseed??
“Remember when you gave me that little bit of energy??” Valhalla quickly tried stepping further away from him, twisting so the knight couldn’t get what he was looking to obtain. “You’re not a Negaverse officer, anymore. Taking one of those is a sure way to be out of the fight.” Working on Gev’s compulsions seemed to be more important at the moment than throwing in the obvious moral issues with eating one.
"Unless you're trying to give up on purpose."
It was a low blow, and one that made him feel guilty to even think. Gev had obviously been giving the fight his all. Did Valhalla even want him fighting? No, but he was obviously good at it. There was still a youma, and one of the few people he knew would be able to deal heavy damage was Gev. Of course, Gev had also been throwing insulting things at him about fighting, and Ganymede with leading, so... maybe slight payback.

Varuna gulped. This was not what she was planning on getting herself into. She would honestly rather stay home and read a book if she had anything to say about it. But she wasn’t at home, and this was real, and there were children involved, and her aunt, and potentially her cousin with the way Palatine kept glancing in the direction of one other.
She flexed her hands as she prepared for her next attack. She was running out of energy. It was either using her magic or trying to physically attack it. On one hand, her magic was snow. On the other, this would probably be the last one she could fire off. Varuna already felt exhausted. She’d used much of her basic attacks as well.
For now, she picked up a rock close by and hurled it at the youma. She didn’t have a good position to use her magic, anyway.
Tomlin ran across the golem’s shoulders, trying to lead the ones beside it to whack their fellow. He had their attention, but it seemed that was all he’d managed. The monsters didn’t seem to feel each other’s blows. Which meant that anything the chibi team aimed at them was probably not going to dent them either. Unless they could find a vulnerable spot, they weren’t getting through.
He had a great view from his perch as the Greater Youma swooped in. He ducked instinctively, though it was still a long way above him. The flames didn’t reach him, but shot up in a burning wall on the far side of the golems. Another obstacle. Could they knock over one of the golems without dusting it, he thought frantically, create a bridge over the dragonfire? But they were all so small, they didn’t have the kind of weight to leverage the youma. Maybe they could call back the snowdrift senshi…
The rising smoke had him coughing, lightheaded as the toxic gases filled his lungs, making it harder to keep up his cat-and-mouse act around the golem’s shoulders. With so much going on, so many people to look out for, it was only a matter of time before the cat mis-stepped, and the tip of his tail got squashed by a giant hand for his efforts.
He barely felt it – Chibi Oort was hit.
Tomlin wrenched his tail free, leaving behind a shedding of yanked-out fur, and took a leaf from the large flying cat’s book, leaping out and dive-bombing the clawed youma that was attacking his young friend. Two on one was better odds.

Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade
He withdrew his hand reluctantly, looking somewhat unfocused at Valhalla as a bead of sweat rolled down his cheek. The warning had him reconsidering, but he didn't like the news that he saw was a blessed option for him right now was no longer even that.
"Then what does this side have?" He needed something. Anything. He needed something to keep him in the fight. He couldn't be done yet.
Valhalla let out a small sigh of relief when Gev seemed to realize that taking a starseed was a bad idea. There was still a lot Gev had to learn about being a knight, so Valhalla couldn’t really blame him. From what he’d heard, though… too many starseeds consumed could turn a knight or senshi into a youma.
“Here,” he said, shifting his hold on Ganymede as he offered one of the vials Alexandria left with him. “We only have our magic and time and rest…”
He was sure Gev wouldn’t be happy to hear that, but it was really all they could do for now.

Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade
He considered the vial, thinking hard about how good it might do him - considering this time he knew not to drink it. However, looking at Valhalla with Ganymeade unconscious, he debated taking it.
Chibi Oort -- in proximity to Tomlin, Perdita, Chara and Ambrosia + anyone else close by
Oort had been doing his best to try and stay away from the swiping claws from the slash-happy claw monster and for the most part he'd managed, although he'd ended up with scratches on his leg to match the ones on his shoulder after not being quite able to get out of the way in time.
But whilst he was managing to keep out of the way of the swiping claws, Oort hadn't been able to do a lot of much else.
The sudden smoke had come as a surprise, as it rose around him and those close to him in a mist that had him choking and coughing as his eyes teared up beneath his glasses...
But the claw monster was still coming, claws raising for a swipe and as Oort still coughing tried to step backwards he found himself stumbling over something and his reddish eyes widening as he realised that he just wasn't going to manage to get out of the way in time.
Salvation came from above, in the form of more claws but this time feline - the youma breaking off the attack in order to try and swipe at the tabby mauvian menace.
Oort for his part found himself staring at the youma and the tabby star cat for few moments before scrabbling at the ground for something - anything.
His hand closed against something rough but long-ish, the something turning out to be a piece of broken crystal that he used to try and jab out at the slash monster youma.
He didn't see Perdita trying to jab out at the big dragon youma and couldn't see what Ambrosia or Chara were doing as he once again tried to jab at the youma that was trying to claw at Tomlin.

Valhalla frowned when Gev hesitated, although he made sure to keep an eye on the youma, just in case it decided to send fire their way. He hated feeling helpless, but he couldn’t even use his magic, and he was carrying Ganymede.
“I’m fine,” he told the other knight, continuing to ignore the pain in his chest from the continuously leaking energy. Being in Negaspace seemed to be draining him more than normal, but that was nothing he could fix. The Code itself said that it was surprised Valhalla was still alive with a cracked starseed, so there was no point in dwelling on it, especially since he had yet to find any answers in how to fix it.
“Seriously, don’t worry about me,” he insisted, “I have a few more vials if I need any. Use that one.” And, as if to prove that he was not completely helpless, Valhalla shifted Ganymede in his arms, making sure she wasn’t going to fall off his shoulder, before crouching down to pick up a rock by his feet, and hurled it at the youma’s face.
Hopefully he was able to hit it in the eye, or knock out a tooth.

Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade
Gev looked up as the rock hit against the youma before looking back down, feeling a wave of light-headedness from the slight shift of his head. Regarding the other knight, he finally conceded.
"If you say so, then yeah. Give me a vial. I'm going to pass out if I don't." He said, open a blood-stained palm to take one from him. "But you better not be lying that you have more. You need to be able to carry her back."

Corinth, Page of Neptune
He had not been expecting the giant youma. That had not factored into his plans to get Dallol out of there in one piece. To get them both out of there in one piece. He had (not to his credit) not expected Dallol to balk at his desire to only get her out (to her credit). In the confusion and clash and din of the sudden appearance of what could only be a dragon, Corinth had been separated from Dallol.
He chose not to panic, albeit it was difficult to do. Gritting his teeth, he scooped up a largish piece of crystal from the ground and as the dragon swooped on one of its passes, he lugged it hard against the beast. Though as the smoke billowed from it's mouth he was forced to cover his face with an arm and run away from the smoke.
Once he was out of the cloud he blinked - a lot - to try and clear his eyes and find Dallol. He had to find her...
Falias had known that something big was coming because he could sense it, the aura dark and oppressive and not something that he wanted to find out what the source was.
Unfortunately, it seemed whatever luck had helped him and the others escape the ruins of what had once been the Academy with the Code had pretty much deserted them what with the General Queen trying to cut a swathe through those gathered along with the reinforcements in the form of Agents and youma.
Lots of youma - lots and lots of youma.
He hadn't been expected the source of the aura to turn out to be some sort of freaking dragon though or that it would come equipped with throat irritating and eye burning smoke.
He had seen the Squire clad in pink (Palentine) from the Academy earlier and had been planning to head in her direction, however he hadn't counted on a youma intercepting him.
Perhaps it was the starseeds that he carried around in a make-shift pouch that he had wound round his waist in order to try to keep his hands free.
Or perhaps it was just rotten luck.
Or given that the youma had been followed by a second one and then a third then perhaps it was the starseeds after all...
Although fortunately a shard of falling crystal that had broken off and fallen had taken care of that final youma for him.
He looked at the crystal shard that remained, before scooping it up.
It was a pretty good weight and perhaps..
He frowned and eyed the dragon youma and then the shard andwaited for it to get close enough before trying to hurl it in the direction of the youma dragon as hard as he could.
