(dude that looks like a creepy skeleton ghoul thing...Or maybe Pennywise the dancing clown.)

"Come on. Only a little further." Ramas kept muttering to himself. The weight of the cart was bad enough had Kristin not jumped onto it. He got to the intersection and almost collapsed. "Ok. I need a rest. Magic or no magic that thing is just too damn heavy. How the hell did you move it?"

Meryll just gave him a smile. "If you come over here then i'll show you."

Ramas finally managed to pick himself up and drag his legs toward his sister. "How did you do it?"

Meryll started to chant and held her hand out. She began to make a fist with he outstretched hand and while she was doing this a giant rock was being formed in the street. When Meryll was done with the spell a fully formed golem stood in the street. it picked up the wagon where Ramas had left it and began walking with ease.

"Thats how you did it? Made a golem to do your dirty work? What kind of crap is that." Ramas said. His sister only gave him the 'your only mad that you didn't think of it' look.

Kristin stared at the golem. She had never seen one before. "Dont be mad because you didnt think about it", she told Ramas. She jumped off the wagon and went to them. "Dont worry. We are not going to make fun of you", she said, not really meaning it though.

Ramas left it at that. He only needed to hear it from those two only every once in a while and if he said something now he'd probably hear about it every sentence. "Thank God its the show." Ahead of them was the arena where the tradeshow was being held. There were only a few people heading in to set up stands. "Hey Meryll where did you get a stand at?" Ramas finally asked. He never thought about where she had bought a spot.

"Don't worry its close to the entrance so you won't have to drag the wagon for long." Meryll smiled and pointed to the Golem. "Oh wait why don't you just make one of those to move it."

"Whatever." Ramas just wanted to get this over with now. wait the contact. Do i have them? Ramas felt around for the contact and finally found it with the box it came with. He had almost forgotten about what the twins wanted.

"Are you looking for something?", kristin asked Rams as she saw him searching for something. "Where am I supposed to go now? you are going to the stand right? where will Fenix be?"

" Right now you can help us set up the stand unless Meryll has a spell to do it herself." Ramas said as he stared at his sister. She gave him the ' What could you possibly mean' face and otherwise ignored him. "And we have quite a while before Fenix comes out. Until then you might as well sit with us unless you see anyone you know." Ramas started to take out some of the weapons from the cart. "Hey What are you placing these in?" He asked his sister.

"Just one second." Meryll used a spell to bring several rocks out of the ground. "Just stick them in those. Except for the axes. I've got to figure out what to do with those yet." Ramas proceeded to take the swords that he had and stabbed them into the stones. Surprisingly they went through with ease. Ramas got some more of the swords when he ran out and continued stabbing them in.

"Hey Kristin you wanna help out with this? Its quite fun actually. It gets even better when other people try to get the normal ones out." Ramas proceeded to take a normal sword and was about to stab it into the rock. Unfortunately it didn't go in and broke the tip off. He used a spell to soften the rock and finally got it. "Just be careful about that."

Hayate and Hiroko walked over, along with another man. "Please allow us to assist you in setting up." the man said softly. He waved his hand around while chanting and formed several weapon racks and armor racks from the ground. "I'll move on to the next venue, please assist them and then move on to help the others." Hiroko and Hayate nodded. "Yes sir!" The two of them were dressed like they were part of the trade show enforcers. Hayate and Hiroko raised their hands up and began lifting up weapons and armor from the wagon and putting them into their respective places on the racks. "Looks like the Chief didn't make enough racks. Oh well, that still took care of the majority of things. Let's move on to the next venue Sylas." Hiroko looked at Hayate as he spoke. "Sure thing Rylas!" The two of them bowed quickly and turned.

Kristin stared at the two, Sylas and Rylas. She would bet her life that those two were Hiroko and Hayate. The voices matched. "Thank gentlemen", she said and then turned to Ramas. "That took care most of the work you, we, had to do", she said and picked a sword and swing it her hand. "Nice", she said, paying more attention to the sword than to what was happening around her. "You made these Meryll?", she asked Ramas sister.
PostPosted: Sat May 16, 2009 8:05 pm

Meryll smiled. "Of course. There's no one else in Thelmios who makes swords like mine. I've met a few from little places elsewhere who make them but not here. My swords are strong enough to take any blow from a battle ax or battle hammer." She took one of her swords and placed it on the given racks. " If you strike a sword hard enough with them it'll cut the sword cleanly. It sometimes breaks an ax depending on where you hit it. The only things that break them are other swords like them. Or other special swords made by magic. Only some of those however." She takes an ax and hands it to Ramas. " Show her how its done."

Ramas took the normal ax and placed one of Meryll's blades on the ground. "Now you see it..." Ramas swung the ax down on the blade with all of his might. A small part of the ax blade shattered and landed on the ground. "Now its broke. But if you really want to have fun with these..." He now took another one of Meryll's swords and placed it in one of Meryll's makeshift racks. He took the sword that was on the ground and swung at the stuck blade. It wobbled a little but didn't break yet. " This might take a few tries."

"Like hell your going to break that. Thats too much money to waste." Meryll yelled at him.

"Ahh i already gave up all that money to you yesterday so i get to do this." He took several more swings and got nowhere. "Damn it which one did i pick up?" He gave it one more mighty swing and broke the stuck blade. It wasn't a clean break at all either, the sword he used to break it had a dent in it as well. "Wasn't expecting that. Well i guess i do owe you a little more now." He wrote out an IOU on a piece of paper in his sack. "Just to remind me when i get more cash." The place began to fill up with vendors. If anything the whole opening ceremony had to be starting soon. "Hey Meryll we're going to the ceremony. I'll be back right after its done, Kristin over here might join us later."

Kristin looked at them talking. Yes, they were brother and sister for sure. "You two are always like that?", she asked Meryll. When Ramas said they had to go she frowned. "So soon? I was really anjoying being with your sister", she told him. "Can we come back later? When all these are finished?", she asked him. Maybe they had other plans for later. Plans she didnt know about yet. "After the ceremony we will go back to the inn?", Kristin asked. if they were she could spend some time with Meryll. having a girl around was always good. A friend to talk to.

( Yay! Appearance time! *has an idea for chapter 11 finally* )

"Get him! After him you maggots!" Someone shouts from a nearby rooftop. Almost a split second afterwards, a young man jumps down from the rooftop, not even two feet from where Ramas and Kristin were at. The young man's boots had a small metal patch on the front and top, and they went up above his ankles a few inches. The inside of the boots were insulated in order to keep his feet warm at cold temperatures, but they also didn't make his feet overly hot. His leggings and shirt were also insulated in the same fashion, but they were made from a material that allowed him to easily move around and make use of his speed without any hindrances. Around his waist, in addition to two swords--one on each side--, there was a black belt that was diagonally tilted downwards towards his left leg. There was a design of a dragon all across the belt on the outer side, and it was worn only for fashion. The leggings he wore were blue, as was his shirt for the most part, and they were thicker and baggier in the area above his knee rather than being almost skin tight like the lower part was. His shirt was fashioned in the same manner, being tight near the lower arm and baggy near the upper arm. In the chest area of his shirt, there was a V shaped opening that allowed you to see the black undershirt that he wore. Around his neck, there was a strange pure white scarf-like cloak. It was more like a cloak than a scarf simply due to its sheer size and length. It split out into three lengths. The two outer lengths of the cloak curled around towards the front of his body while the middle length almost looked as if it were a cape. No matter how you looked at the cloak, it seemed like it would be a death-trap in battle. The material it was made out of was extremely expensive however, and it was designed as an alternative to heavy armor. The cloak itself weighed almost two or three times the weight of the rest of the clothing he wore, but it had its purpose. It was capable of stopping an arrow, without the arrow even being able to pierce the inner layer of material.

The young man was also carrying a girl in his arms, and strangely it was Rydia. "Sorry for the bumpy ride Rydia, but I have no choice, Kaneas told me to protect you and so I shall!" Rydia looked around for a moment before the young man immediately leaped from the ground onto a rooftop across the other side of the street. The moment the young man and girl were on the rooftop however, a large group of bandit guards surrounded them quickly. "End of the line kid." The young man should his head slowly. "On the contrary, it's just beginning!" The bandit captain grit his teeth slowly. "Kill them!" At almost the same time, the 12 bandits, and the bandit captain let out a stream of fire in the direction of the young man. From the streets, the moment the fires emerged it was impossible to see what was happening in the center where the young man and girl were at. The fires converged onto one another and created a large pillar of fire that shoots upwards into the sky, resembling a large cylindrical explosion-like case of fire.

After a minute, the guards cease their spells and the fire slowly disappears. When the wind finally blows all the smoke away, there is a white sphere in place of where the young man and girl were at. The bandit captain takes a step back and gasps in shock. "It nullified the spell completely?!" The sphere quickly returned to its original form, the triple-tailed scarf that was worn by the young man. "Now it's my turn!" Almost immediately after finishing his sentence, a large twist enveloped the rooftop, forcing each of the bandits into the air. The twister then shifted it's movement entirely and broke apart into 13 smaller and horizontal twisters, each twister having a guard trapped within. The guards are each sent flying halfway across the city in different directions, preventing them from pursuing the duo any further. Once he was sure that they were in the clear, the young man continued jumping from rooftop to rooftop on his way to the outskirts of the city.

Kristin stared at the man and the girl who looked so much like Rydia. The man had also called her Rydia. Kristin grabbed Ramas hand and started running. "Come on! I know that girl! They might need help!", she said.

Rylas and Sylas immediately turned and headed to where Kristin and Ramas were at. "Contain yourself, you'll draw unnecessary attention and get yourself caught." they whispered quietly. "Those two will be fine, besides they are already outside the city."

Kristin nodded. "What were they doing here?", she asked the twins. "I thought they were with Kan....you know", she said, thinking that saying Kaneas name out loud wasnt that wise.

"I'll continue setting up booths." Rylas, better known as Hiroko said to Sylas. Rylas walked off to continue setting up booths with the Chief. "Unfortunately, even we were unaware of why they were here. Considering the circumstances however, it would be safe to assume they are gathering information. Those two in particular stand out like a single white flower would stand out in a group of black ones. Especially her... Originally I believe there was four of them, which means the other two must have gone off in Thelmios somewhere else to get information while the other two were spotted and had to run away. They will be fine though. Decks is an expert in defensive magic from what I hear, so it's likely that Kaney told him to teach Ryd a few new tricks." He patted her on the back. "Gotta get back to work, see you."

"Who were they? Whats going on here? Why are those two creepy guys back." Ramas asked Kristin about the whole thing he just missed. He could hear some commotion where the ceremony was to be. "And crap we're going to miss the ceremony!!!!"
