Jabir felt a bit claustrophobic inside the car but contained himself from enlarging it
"Don't be silly, they'll die first before that happens"
"So who are the targets?"

Managing a weak smile as Julian frantically buckled himself in, Crow glanced in the back at Jabir.
"A b*****d by the name of Jean Michel, and a gang of thugs called the Brigade. Not sure how many of them there are, but they shouldn't pose too much of a threat." She said, wincing as the car hit a couple bumps as it tore down the road.
Ethan made as though to speak, but thought better of it and shut his mouth. Fidgeting, he pulled out the paper and leaned forward, pointing out where Crow had to go.
"They may be more of a threat than you would think," he said to her in an undertone. Crow glanced at him once, shrugging.
"Don't jinx us."
---
The drive was painfully long. It was late in the day when the car finally made it onto the island, and Crow was ready to explode from the stress. Julian was little better - this was only his second time in a car, and Crow's crazed driving had made him rather ill. When the car finally skidded to a halt, Julian kicked his way out of the car and fell gratefully onto the solid ground.
"I hate cars. I hate them, I hate them..." He groaned, pulling himself up and fighting off a sense of profound nausea. Ethan toppled out as well, leaning against the side of the car. Holding onto the radio aerial for support, he looked up and shrank back involuntarily.
"Miss," he said, looking scared, "we are close. Very close. There." He pointed out in the horizon. All Crow could see was a white wall and a gate, flanked by guards. She smiled with an air of suicidal mania and got back in the car, revving the engine.
"Get in." She barked at Julian and Ethan. They barely had time to get back inside when Crow smashed the gas pedal, knuckles white on the steering wheel.
"What are you doing?" Julian shouted, knowing full well what she intended. Crow said nothing, her eyes fixed on the rapidly approaching iron gate. Ethan cursed and flung his arms over his head, ducking down and squeezing his eyes ******** you." Crow hissed as the startled guards tried to aim their weapons at the car. The car roared as it gathered velocity, and smashed through the gate with a satisfying crash. The car held up better than she thought it would, though it reverberated horribly and shook up everyone inside. Screeching to a halt inside the wall, the car gave out at last, smoke billowing from under the mutilated hood. Shrugging off her seatbelt, Crow turned to her friends with a grim expression.
"Let's go."
Kicking the door open, she grabbed the gun out of Julian's hands and jumped out, running for the house. Julian sighed in resignation and followed suit, shaking his head.
"Holy s**t, we're gonna die."

Rabid leaped out of the car and followed Crow and Julian, stumbling for a moment before breaking into a sprint.
They really were going to die.
Liam looked toward Jabir for a moment, shook his head, and followed quickly after Rabid.

Jabir followed like a shadow, keeping himself and his weapon hidden under the cloack
Quickly he emptied his mind of all the possible consequences and focused on the main targets: find Lenore, make Jean Michel pay, avoid getting themselves killed... and not losing his temper in the middle of it
Things are going to get messy

"RAAAAAGH!"
Running like a madman, Crow threw herself at the house's large front door, trying to force it open. It resisted, and she fell back hard.
"Ouch."
Armed people were swarming into the yard, looking murderous. Crow got up and kicked at the door savagely, ignoring the shouts and warning shots from the gathering guards.
"C'mon, c'mon, open," she hissed, starting slightly as a bullet grazed her shoulder. "Hey!"
Julian rounded on the guard that had fired at Crow, looking enraged.
"You son of a b***h!" He roared, lunging at the startled-looking guard and tearing at him wildly. The guard screamed as Julian took hold of his throat and ripped it open, falling to the ground and twitching. Julian picked up the dead guard's weapon and turned it on the other guards, taking pleasure in their stark white faces. He fired at random, trying to fend them off, and winced as they started firing back.
"I hate guns," he muttered as he charged into the fray, slashing and firing wildly. "Crow, get the god damned door open already!"
"I'm trying, you idiot!" She shouted back. Almost got it. Almost...
Ethan, who had gotten out of the car last, whistled at the guards Julian was trying to slaughter. A few of them hesitated when they saw him, unsure what to do.
"Ethan?" One said, trying to get past Julian. "Ethan, what're you doing with these-"
Bang.
The guard fell heavily, blood gushing from the bullet wound in his throat. Ethan glared up at the rest of the guards with something like hatred, aiming his gun with care as he fired again and again. The guards seemed too surprised by Ethan's sudden violence to do more than stare for a second.
Crack!
Crow laughed as she finally kicked the door in. Whistling urgently for the others to follow, she ran inside, pursued by three more guards. Julian and Ethan tore after her, kicking bodies out of the way and ducking under the gunfire.
"You said you never killed before," Julian muttered to Ethan, glancing over at him as they ran inside. Ethan gave a dry laugh, discarding his gun in favor of the one Julian had stolen.
"And now I have," he replied, tears standing in his eyes.

Liam had gone numb by this point, although he was recieving a good number of wounds. It was amusing, being able to watch people die and not have to do anything. He readied his gun, though. Just in case.
"You alright?" he turned to Ethan as he followed the rest of the group inside.
Rabid, shellshocked, blankly slipped into Vampiric Rage mode and followed the group, utterly unaware of everything except the task at hand.
And, of course, the gunfire.

Jabir had done quite a share of damage by now He was using his alignment to direct the path of the bullets against their opponents, but he couldn't keep it up for much longer. There were too many
Luckly Crow had managed to open the door. He quickly followed them, raising a one-side barrier to prevent getting hit in the back

Ethan looked at Liam vaguely, shaking his head.
"I will...get used to it," he said a little bitterly, ducking his head down and running up beside Crow, jumping over a burning body. The three following guards had been dispatched by Julian, their burning flesh sending an awful stink into the air.
"This way!" Ethan said urgently, grabbing her arm and pointing down another hall. Crow followed obediently, looking around for other guards.
"This is too easy. Where is everyone?" She asked him. Ethan shrugged helplessly.
"I do not know. By all means, we should not have even been able to get this far." He said, trying to keep up with Crow's breakneck pace. "He might be letting us get this far."
Crow snarled and slowed down a little as Ethan pointed out a door.
"Down there. That's where he keeps them."
---
Lenore jumped up and cringed at the sound of people screaming up above. Shrinking into a corner and holding tightly onto the bird pendant, she squeezed her eyes shut and plugged her ears at the sound of gunshots.
"Mummy..."
The door opened slowly, and Jeremy entered with a strained expression. Looking down at the floor, unable to meet Lenore's eyes, he grabbed her roughly and dragged her out of the cell.
"Your family's made a real mess of things, you know that?"

Liam huffed and picked up pace, having a bit of a problem with speed and blood loss. The two didn't really like each other much.
Just keep running, old man. You can't die.
"This is too easy," Rabid murmured, agreeing with Crow, "We're probably going to get mobbed."

"Or worse" this situation made him nervous. There was a trap somewhere and they were walking right into the middle of it
He kept himself to the end of the line. If they were going to get attacked by the rear, might as well be him the first

The door was unlocked. Crow hesitated, looking down the stairs and shaking her head slowly.
"This isn't right. He wouldn't just..."
A bullet ricocheted off the doorframe very close to Crow's head.
"Okay, nevermind. Let's go!"
Racing down the stairs, Crow tripped and landed hard on hands and knees. Sitting up painfully, she gave a groan. There were dozens upon dozens of identical metal doors down three separate hallways. She had no doubt there were probably more they couldn't see yet. Wincing as Ethan helped her up, she looked at him in desperation.
"Which one is she in?"
Ethan wore a similar expression, looking around aimlessly.
"I don't know!"
Cursing, Crow took off down one of the halls, glancing over her shoulder at the others.
"Just start opening doors!" She called, skidding to a halt in front of one and starting to kick at it.
---
"So, are you going to kill me now?" Lenore asked. She was dead tired and sick of being scared. Now she was just irritable.
Jeremy glanced down at her, looking vaguely miserable.
"I wish I could. He wants to see you." He muttered, pushing a door open and shoving her inside. He followed sullenly, looking at the floor again.
"You little brat. Your mother has caused me quite a bit of trouble - do you know how many of my men she and those foul friends of hers killed?"
Lenore glared up at the new man. The one that had held a gun to her head before.
"You better hope Mum's the one that gets you. If Julian gets ahold of you, he'll rip your guts out."
Jean Michel approached her slowly, grabbing her by her hair and dragging her close. He wore a vicious smile as she clawed at his hands, cursing.
"Oh, I'm so very scared."

Liam ran a bit further down the hall, gun between his teeth, punching door open and fairly easily tearing them off of the hinges with his enhanced arm. This was starting to look worse and worse.
Rabid sighed and attempted to blow the locks off of a few doors, finding nothing and noone of much use.
"God damn it!"

"Wait! It's that one" he pointed to one of the doors in the left. He had been trying to detect Lenore's presence but only now he managed to get a faint reading

Crow sprinted back, towards the door Jabir had pointed out. Forgetting any sense of caution, she lunged at the door and assailed it viciously.
"Lenore? Lenore?"
---
Jean Michel smiled thinly, clamping one hand over Lenore's mouth and grabbing hold of his revolver with the other.
"Looks like Mommy found you," he said pleasantly. "We don't want to keep her waiting, do we? Jeremy. Open the door."
Jeremy obeyed, stiffening as Lenore cried out.
---
"Len? Le- huh?"
The door had opened. Crow bolted inside, looking around frantically.
"Lenore!" She screamed, catching sight of the girl, ignoring the one holding her.
Lenore bit at the hand muffling her, twisting and struggling to get free.
"RUN!"
The door slammed shut behind Crow. She shouted in rage as someone grabbed hold of her from behind, pinning her arms back.
"Let me go, you son of a- augh!"
Crow spluttered and gasped, sick with sudden pain from the bullet hole in her stomach. She glared up at the shooter, unafraid and furious.
"Hello, Lethe."
Jean Michel threw Lenore to the floor, aiming again at Crow with utmost care. A look of pure hatred marred his face, making it twisted and ugly.
"This time, you will stay down." He hissed.

Rabid shrieked and threw herself at the door, groaning at the sound of her own bones splintering upon impact.
"s**t..."
Liam took a few quick steps back and frantically assessed the situation. This was bad. Very bad. The only conclusion he could draw? Killing things.
A lot of them. At once.
