Jonath Nell So are you saying that I should just not have the move there? Pretty much. Unless, by including it, you're trying to assert that "my character knows where good places to stab someone are", I don't really see the point of including it as a 'move' if it's just... well... stabbing. 'Moves' are generally abilities. Abilities are supernatural. So generally, anything that we'd naturally expect your character to be able to do shouldn't really need to be included on a movelist. Sure as hell not like you're going to write "breathes" on there, or "can kick a soccer ball".

I think what he's trying to say Jay is that you're going to spend the same amount of time describing a move in the actual rp as you would if you were to type up a move list and then just reference the move list. Example: You type up a move list and then in the fight just say, "X does .
And you can make alterations as needed depending on circumnstances.
Actually, if you had a move list with your signature moves on it, you wouldn't have to type the description for those out everytime you used them.

So my lack of the word Prior, or more accruately let me rephrase that; YOU taking the statement out of context makes it wrong?
The original statement is about movelists (assembled stances and strikes before a fight), the other statement is about 'when it happens' or in the fight.
Dont pull this "I can qoute fragments and make you wrong crap" lifes too short for it.
Kana: and that is good RP, why? that reverts back to the I cast kamehemeha (sp?) [insert kamehameha pwnage here] Im sorry I dont see it as effective or helpful to the RP besides cutting down on post time.

Jason A. Delacroix YOU taking the statement out of context makes it wrong? No, you lacking continuity makes it self-defeating. Read everything I just said to Joneth, then apply that to our conversation, and hopefully you'll get it. Otherwise I'm going to have to go submit something to urbandictionary and link it. stressed
