*seeing Melaria fall to the ground, she quickly took over* You two! Yes! Ye scurvy lads get her to the medical deck! Hurry quick! *she turns to Melaria's crew* Alright, since the enemy is falling back, I want ye scalywags to help with the riggin' on deck. Go! Let the sheets fly and the wind take us to a happier port! *she turns to her gun crew, who are busy reloading cannon balls and pushing powder. She sees a younger boy pushing around a keg of powder to the crew, and thanks whatever god there might be for the sea that her gun crew is dependable.* Come on! Double-quick! Ye be swimming to Davy Jones' locker if ye be slower than that!

*John thinks to himself*
These sails are in pretty bad shape...
*Hope then came to John's eyes in the form of gun crew running to help with the rigging, then he looks to everyone helping in the rigging*
Main objective, keep the mast standing and sturdy and keeping with the winds.
...and watch your heads.
*John himself continues work with the sails*
We're almost out of there range, keep it up

<< Continued from Wardroom >>
Syn dashed up from delivering the Captain to the Doctor and Jaden, arriving just in to see them carting away Melaria. She whistled dismally, watching the scene with a frown before turning back to the others, gazing at those up in the rigging with a sense of helplessness since she did not know much about rigging besides tightening the knots, vowing that if they escaped the clutches of the Boadicea she would teach herself some of the essentials for every sailor to know. After all, being an accountant wasn't enough. So, instead, she looked to John, who seemed to be giving most of the orders now.
"Sir! What can I do to help?"
She swiped at the black soot smeared on her face that was getting in her eyes, looking as if someone had punched her in the eyes with the rings around them.

*Aeoess' vision came back, and she quickly ran to the brig and grabbed her that Destiny gave her and decided to make it even more useful. She climbed up to the bigger sails and began to patch up the bigger holes using the blanket. Luckily she also had a needle and some thread with her.
If all went well the gunmen of the other ship would either miss or the Lady would be out of range.*

*After what seemed to be an eternity of fighting, and the Lady's new color of blood red; the Boadicea cannons were now only able to splash water onto the Lady, which in good hopes means the Boadicea is out of range*
This blood is gonna take away to get out, and the mast is about to topple over. All the sails a torn with quicky patches , joy....
Keep moving forward, we dont know what to expect, and lets NOT find out...

"I agree with you totally Mr. John. Keep the sails moving lads!"
-He continued to lend a hand with the sails to keep out of range.-

Upon seeing that the cannons of the Bodacia were only splashing the Lady with seawater, the guncrew of Destiny's cannon turned from firing, and began to pull the fallen timbers off of her. As they pulled splinters of wood away from her, they noticed the one in her chest. After a brief discussion, they agreed to let the Doctor handle that piece, as long as they could get her down to the Doctor in time.
They finished pulling debris off of her, and picked her up by her shoulders and knees. Carefully they manuevered her down down the hatches to Sick Bay.
(continued in the Sick Bay.

"BEAR UP! LOOK ALIVE AND BEAR UP. ALL HANDS TO WEAR SHIP. BRING US ALONGSIDE, HELMSMAN! RUN OUT THE GUNS AND PREPARE TO FIRE INTO HER HULL. ON MY ORDER'S ONLY!"
*The Boadicea glided along under a full press of canvas. Her jib was pointed directly for the Ladies stern. Though her Main was shot away, they cleared the wreckage: it drifted to leeward as she moved silently on, towards her prey.*

*Aeoess began to sew faster, and was hoping to get some assistance, but the job had to be done either way. One on of the larger sails was patched up she moved to another sail with a small piece of her her blanket that wasn't used yet, and began to patch up all the holes and the rips that were on it.*

*Aeoess laughed a little and kept sowing.*
"Thank you both for assisting me.
John, are we almost out of range yet?"
*After noticing his patch fell off Aeoess tore a piece from the blanket and gave it to John to use as a patch.*
