9 quietly stood up and walked over to Yume. She didn't say a word as she took a seat nexk to him as she skipped a rock across the empty pond.
"I know.. It's not the same with out the ol willow tree and the fish gone. But I'll have more fish soon."
She said as she kept her eyes on teh pond, not once looking at him.

He felt movement in the air as he turned his head to see the thermal image of someone and watched as that person sat down, yet somehow he knew it was 9. Maybe it was because she skipped a rock across the pond, but how would he know? Maybe...

As she described the events they shared, he could see them in his mind and somehow projected them into 9's mind. His eyes soften as he tried to smiled, but as his lips quivered upward, they soon faded. He held his head as it punched his brain.
True... you and Akki met here. We met here and if I were to return as your Akki, would you have me like this?

He tightly shut his eyes as he relized how much pain he felt. It wasn't his mind though. It was something deeper inside of him that felt like he has been suffering for centuries and slowly opened his eyes to face reality. His hand quickly reached towards her face as he wiped her tear away with a swift stroke from his finger and cupped her face. The action was so automatic, it surprised him.
The flashes of memories, the touch of forgotten emotions, the proof on your finger and mine. I can be your Akki if I am able to take back the memories locked inside this ring. But the question is, could you accept me as Akki?

He only smirked as he heard her comment. Everything seem to subside suddenly. Of course, it wasn't Akki that said so. It was actually Yume himself. How could be love someone he barley, let alone know at all. He can't tell her that he wasn't Akki because it was obvious that he had his memories.
He wanted to say something back but decided against it when he heard her question.
I have nothing better to do. So, yes.

9 closed her eyes as she wrapped her arms around herself and curled up into a ball. She did everything she could to keep from crying but it was no use.
On the ship... on the The Harvester of Sorrow.... Her mind wavered with sadness.

He speeded the clicks in his mind as he watched her curled up into ball and listened to her stray thoughts. Out of complusion, he reached over and wrapped his arms around her to comfort her as he felt her sadness.

He sighed, not knowing what to say. Only this Akki knew what to say to her, but he wasn't here at all. He was now only a pack of memories inside a ring. He stroked her hair, tightly wrapping his arms around her just to tell her there was someone still there. He sought for the words to comfort her.
Nothing is ever too late. Can you not be human again?
He paused unsure how to continue. He sighed again as he felt the ring on his fingers.
Besides he will always be in your heart. In a sense, he is never gone. I am sure he wherever he is, he is keeping the same principle. 'Good bye' are such harsh words. He must see it that way. As you have stated, he loves you and you love him. Your Akki will return to you, no doubt.
