"No-no it's okay!" Layla said suddenly a little louder then she meant and shook her head. She blushed feeling a little foolish prying into his personal life. She touched her own arm as he began to move toward the exit. "Uhmm...If I may would it be alright if I can help sir?" She too felt the strange sensations and if the problem was resolved sooner she would get closer to feeling safe for the first time for as long as her memory could tell.

Logain nodded. "If you wish to help, then that is your choice. I'll take whatever help that can be had." He looked to the door, the strong feelings echoing, and disturbing of the forest around. No doubt the werewolves have sensed this in some form. This could be bad, Logain thought as he flung the deer-hide flap at the door open. "Let's go, action must be taken swiftly!" He said to Kayla before he ran out, knowing that delaying could lead to disastrous outcomes.
Canor continued to swing at bizarre beast that came from all around him. For some reasons, his joints were encountering resistance, as if some force was trying to hold him in place. He could not comprehend what was happening, everything had spiraled out of his minimal power. "AIEN'LALASH!!" (HELP ME!!) he cried out, his voice ringing throughout to forest around him. He continued to struggle, though he was having great difficulty moving.
Azrael, heard more shouts, and then finally what seemed to be words, though words that he did not understand. He ran faster, whatever was going on, it was going within his territory, his tribe's territory. He reached the scene where the fight was taking place and his lips curled back and he snarled. "HALT!!" He demanded toward those in combat. Alunn was singing one of his songs, and two outsiders were being cornered by him and his shades, one paralyzed, the other swinging wildly at nothing. But what was worse, was that they were human, and decidedly foreign, judging from their almost comically ill-prepared garb, as well as their language.
Izual had made his way around the circle again, naming another as "crow," and this time succeeding in reaching the open spot. The new it went around the circle tapping heads, when the pup came to Shera, she tapped her on the head and shouted, "Crow!" And started to run.

Alunn ignored Azrael's shout, watching his shade acheive a small form of dominance over the man, enough to allow him to leap and inflict a small amount of toxin in the man's shoulder. The hand axe hit him in the side as Alunn backed off. He stared at Azrael for a brief moment, before picking up the paralyzed form of Elizabeth and running off, the elder shade following swiftly.

"Y-yes sir!" Kayla said quickly following after Logain but still keeping her distance when he slowed at the door to leave. It was a trained reaction by this point and for the first time she wondered if even with magical protection if she would still cringe at the touch of another. Surely once she figures out how to sense the protective magic she will feel safe being close to others.
She exited the door as well feeling the familiar shape of the weapon at her side. It was dormant for now but when it was needed it seemed to come to life in it's own way.

Shera looked around at Shinn. She was very hyper now, and very excited. Having just seen her brother take off running around the circle it nearly killed her not to be able to jump to her feet and run off after him. She sat in her seat, jumping up and down with eagerness. Once the scene was right next to her she looked around at them and sat down so keep herself from joining in. She was so excited and so eager. Shera grinned at her brother as he rubbed against her. Playfully she bit onto his ear and tugged slightly before she let go. Izual was making progress around the circle, who would she choose?
Shera was upset to find it was not her, but she watched with as much enthusiasm as she had when she watched her brother run. She began to bark and yip along with the others as the running took place. She was surprised this time to see that Izual had gotten the spot over the other pup, who was now preparing herself to crow someone.
Shera gasped in surprise when she was tagged and eagerly jumped to her feet. The pup who tagged her was very close to her own age, perhaps a little older, but Shera knew she was faster. She just loved to run. She took off running, tearing up clumps of dirt with her sharp nails. She had soon caught up with the pup and was slowly beginning to overtake her. The end of the race was not in sight as they went around the last corner of the circle.
Elizabeth had seen the battle as it progressed. She wanted to yell and scream at the soldier and tell him that he was swinging mindlessly at nothing. She tried to move her lips, her arms, her legs, but nothing was responding. She let out a soft sigh, but remained otherwise still. She cursed her paralyzed state when a werewolf, of all creatures, appeared out of the forest and barked a command at the elf shade. She was then surprised to feel the elf shade's arms as they wrapped around her, and limply her body molded to the position of his arms. Where was this creature taking her? What would happen to Canor? How long would it be before their troop noticed they had not returned, and that she was missing? Would they come and find them, or more importantly, if they did come to look for them could they find them? Elizabeth hated to admit it, but she was scared for both herself and for Canor.

The other pup tried very hard to keep up with Shera, but Shera was still outpacing her. Panting and trying to bound with as much speed as she could she ran toward the open spot, but the closer she came, the further ahead Shera was, and that much closer to the empty seat in the circle.
Shinn barked and yipped with the others, cheering Shera on as she raced around the circle. . He knew that she could win this, he knew how fast she could go.
Canor shouted as the creature and bite into his shoulder. He almost immediately went numb and stumbled, trying to maintain some control over his body. As he watched helplessly, as Elizabeth was taken away, he saw more creatures enter the area around him. Massive things, covered in thick, rough fur, red and yellow eyes gazing at him, as if he were prey.
Azrael did not try to follow after Alunn. Truly, he did feel a bit sorry for the woman, but she came of her own volition, and she was an intruder, a part of the invading force that threatened his people's home, and possibly much more. His gaze turned to the immobilized human in front of him, and he snarled. It seemed that he would have something to take back and question, but as he did, armed and armored humans burst into the area, most of them nearly shrieking or turning and running at the werewolves who stood there, and their companion lying immobile in front of them.
"Back off fell beasts!" Shouted the leader of the group, drawing his scimitar. Despite the somewhat garish coloring and decidedly extravagant embroidery, he was better equipped for this environment than the others, but his discomfort was still plain. Elizabeth was nowhere to be seen, and these monsters stood crowded around the foot-soldier he had sent out. "Where have you taken her?!" Demanded the Parivir. "You'll not be feasting on any who dwell from the Holy soil of Bedaious!" He shouted, swinging the sword intimidatingly at them, especially the largest one who stood ahead of the others.
Azrael listened to the man, but could not decipher what he was saying. The man spoke a language he did not recognize. It was almost comical to see the man speak his incomprehensible gibberish while swinging his sword menacing, as if the man's iron or steel alone could do any lasting damage to them, and the other human's looked, and smelt, ready to soil themselves if he took so much another step forward. Playing on the fear they reeked of, he stood at full height, towering over them by a meter or more. "Do you speak any other language?" Inquired Azrael with a growl.
Logain ran forward, leading Kayla as he did, letting her have her space to move about. As he came closer to the problem area, he saw Alunn and one of his shades running off, carrying a young woman. "Oh no..." Logain said to himself worriedly. He turned to Kayla and said, "We have a slight problem. We have two major issues, one my vampire friend seems to have taken one of the human soldiers who have intruded on these parts, and there seems to be a scouting group of other humans. I need to recitify both situations, but I would to be in two places at once." He said, thinking on how he might be able to fix this.

Shera galloped around the circle. She spotted the place where she was suppose to stop and sit. immediately she put her breaks on and coincidentally she slid right by the spot, and into the nearest wall. It surprised Shera to suddenly be hitting the wall. She paused for a moment to shake her head before she realized what was going on. She jumped to her feet and began to scamper towards the open spot. It was close now, and the other pup came around, about to jump into the spot when Shera jumped. Her paw just barely touched down on the spot before the other pup jumped in. Shera summer-salted into the middle of the circle, but was yanked back when one of her sharp claws snagged on the cloth of the spot. Once the dust settled she looked up towards the others. "Who got it?" She asked softly.
Miluiel jumped to her feet when she saw her daughter begin to slip. She flinched at the crash, but it seemed like Shera was going to be okay. Miluiel began to relax.

((A shallow bite like the one Canor has would last for 30 minutes, the deeper one that Elizabeth has would last for an hour. It isn't his natural venom so it can't last long))

Kayla felt exhilarated following Logain. Up till today she had been wandering aimlessly trying to make amends for the sins of her past. Now this mysterious man was like a candle to her. His light guided her hand and for once she felt a little of her repressed guilt lift. "Yes sir. I'll try to stop the scouts without hurting them. You should stop your friend since you know him best. Is that acceptable?" Kayla called from behind him. Even though she was merely 15 it seemed that her confidence was unwaivering in this moment.

Alunn finally came to a halt in an extremely dense section of trees and vines. The elder shade came into view with the younger shade, the younger still holding onto Alunn's shadow. With a silent exchange the elder shade went to work gathering sturdy vines, the younger disappearing into Alunn's shadow, the shade equivalent of exhausted. Alunn undid the blood magic that had changed his venom, his toxin returning to the original state that it had been. He laid the paralyzed body of the woman against a somewhat large boulder, his hands touching the scar where his fangs had pierced, the skin already healed to prevent unwanted bloodloss. "I really don't like fighting. I prefer to sing a gentle lullaby to someone, so they have sweet dreams while I, eat, and except for the usual effects of not having enough blood come out better than when I started. You will have to forgive me, I really haven't been at this as long as it you might guess. 24 years is still young by your races standards, isn't it. " Alunn smiled faintly before he drew the woman into an embrace, his fangs sinking into her flesh at the same spot he had bit her earlier. He began to drink, at the same time his normal toxin was busy destroying the paralytic version.

Elizabeth was aware of Alunn and every movement he made. Her mind was still awake, although dizzy still. She wanted to pull away from his touch as his fingers passed over the tender scar on her neck. She was surprised when he began to speak to her, and then when he took her into his arms, then he bit her once again. Slowly a rattling breath began to filter through her throat and into her chest. She gasped softly, now able to react to the pain that was throbbing in her neck. She closed her eyes and gasped again. She could feel the thin pricking sensation of feeling coming back into her body. She slowly moved her arms up to Alunn’s chest where she began to push against him, weakly at first, but with more power as the pain in her neck increased, and the need for survival increased within her. Her gasping breaths became harder and rougher as she grunted in pain. “Get away!” She finally shouted at him.

Logain nodded. "That would be of some great help, Kayla. I don't meant to put you through unnecessary difficulty, and I do apologize for getting you wound up in these affairs. I'll return as soon as I am able," Logain promised her, before running off, following the lingering aura of Alunn and the woman he had run off with.
Veral smiled sadly. "I am sorry Shera, but you did fall out of the spot, and she did get the seat. You'll have to be 'it' again." He explained.
Shinn jumped up when his sister got caught on a thread from one of the blankets. She seemed to be alright, but he wasn't sitting easily, and if she started hurting he would run right over to her.
The leader of the human group was taken aback when he heard words come from the huge creature's mouth. More importantly, the beast spoke in Common Trade Language, which he spoke, as a necessity of status, being a Parivir. "I-I Speak Common, creature! And you order whatever took that woman from here, immediately. I don't care what practices you hold, you will submit to the authority of Bedaious!" He commanded, regaining his composure with indignation, inspiring his soldiers to be frightened, and more nervous, which would be more useful if these monsters desired a fight.
Azrael snarled at the man after he started speaking in common, though somewhat difficult to understand with his accent, and the other who were with Azrael snarled and growled upon hearing the word "submit." Azrael's glared at the man harshly before speaking, "Your impetuousness and manner do no credit to your oh-so-special-Nation of whatever, and do even less for your species. What happened to that woman was regrettable, but not under my command or authority. Take it up with those truly responsible before making assumptions. If you take your soldiers and leave, and then convince that whole army of yours to leave as well, then you will have no problems. Leave these forests and never return." He warned the humans, his patience with them wearing quite thin.
The commander spluttered indignantly as he was lectured at by a beast. This thing pretended to have the right to command the Holy Army of Bedaious to leave the lands set aside be heaven to be decided between Bedaious and Saidous, the only descendants of the Envoy from Heaven. "Your nerve only shows you to be the uncultured beast you appear to be. You are speaking to a Parivir of Bedaious, a Holy Order that you are barely worthy of thinking of. And ungrateful mongrel such as yourself may dwell here, but so far is concerned, you are not more than the property of the Seltore* now. Keep your feet in line and obey, and you'll be fortunate enough to keep your heads." He told them with finality. These werewolves pretended to be different from the legends told of them, but they'd likely learned speech as parlor trick taught from demons.
Canor's eyes widened in shock, despite his paralysis. Words should not come from the mouths of these monsters, and yet they spoke. That they spoke understandable Common, albeit flavored with rough tones, was shocking. Canor understood and could speak general basic, having done jobs for merchants and working as a dock hand in the past. He was more concerned about Elizabeth, and what the plight of the scout group would be if the commander wouldn't just shut up and report this. Immediately at the thought of reprimanding his group leader he felt phantom pains from beatings long past, both as a soldier and doing work back home.
((*Seltore is basically the word used for King in the Human countries of Bedaious and Saidous))

He stopped drinking, though his fangs remained in her skin to allow his toxin to act as a painkiller to the pain she was feeling. He eventually drew his teeth retracting and moved back away from her. "You should rest before you start trying to return, things flee from me as they should, but a single human would only be an appetizer. You are, Bedaious right? I think that is what you spoke in. Languages tend to run together in my mind so excuse me if I am wrong. If you don't mind resting, I can take you back in a bit." Alunn settled nearby with his guitar, the instrument having a long crack up the side, the elder shade in his elf form stood against a tree, watching the female. "Seems like I will have to get a new one" Alunn muttered, beginning to sing a lullaby, though with no magic behind it.

"I'll see you later then." Kayla said with a sweet smile and closed her eyes for a moment before wings of luminous light sprouted forth from Kayla's back and she rose into the air toward the area where she had been getting a funny feeling lately. What she found was a horrible scene of aggression between the werewolves and from what she could tell were armored humans.
Kayla landed in the space between the werewolves and the army allowing her wings to disperse in a flurry of feathers that faded away. "P-please let us all calm down. This might be a misunderstanding." Kayla pleaded to both sides as she turned around to the forces. She might have been 14 but until recently she was not particularly concerned about her own safety. Seeing all the angry faces around her she realized that jumping between two angry groups was not as smart a decision as she thought it was a moment ago. This was a habit she would have to consider breaking if she is not broken in the next couple of minutes.

Elizabeth's hand flew to her neck, where she clapped it over the two small bite marks. She was horrified. She felt used, and dirty. She felt exploited and spoiled. If she was only an appetizer, would he still be coming for her? Having drunken her blood, did he now have some sort of tie or connection to her? What would happen to her now? Would she turn into one of these blood craving beasts?
The matter of the fact was that Elizabeth did mind resting. She wanted to get as far away from this beast as she possibly could! Weakly she began to push herself to a standing position. Her body was still weary with the toxins which had been put into her. Being unable to stand as of yet she tried to crawl away from Alunn.
Shera frowned slightly, but quickly got over it. She looked up at Shinn and smiled at him, hoping he would see that she was alright. This time she would secure the spot for sure. She got up, and carefully removed her paw claw from the animal hide. She stepped through the circle and began to tap her playmates on the head. Finally she reached one of the other pups that was close to her age. Together they ran many races. Eager for another grand race she tapped him on the head and shouted "Raven!" The young pup took off running.
