"This certainly isn't the time for these types of trifles, my dears. I think everyone will agree that just as long as the job gets done!"
-He continued in aiding the others with the sails.-
"John, you fiend! You have quite the sharp eye sir! Very well, don't be blaming me if everyone should have snot raining on them."

*Four hundred weight of iron shot flew at the 112 foot brig, Lady Washington. The Boadicea's fifty eighteen pound guns roared out at long range: the balls hititng their mark. Dangerously accurate... maybe too accurate for Jack's hopes of staying afloat. But nonetheless, the damage seemed ot be minimal for now: the main toproyal's had been torn from their bracings. They now hung limply. If Mr. John was any sort of a bosun, he'd get his men on it immediatley and see it put to rights.*
"I'm hearitly glad to see that you two can keep a light heart in such a dark moment. I must insist upon ordering you aloft to the fighting tops, but do carry your high spirits along with you. God knows we need the high moral. Oh, Miss Aeoess... take up a rifle. I want you to pick off as many of their marines as you possibely can. You'll act as our sharpshooter from the main crosstrees aloft. Aim for the redcoats only, leave the officers on the quarterdeck alone. They are not to be harmed. Now, away with you three."
*Turning to the Doctor and Miss Kale.*
"I'm very sorry to do this to you, but you'll have to re-rig your medical facility aft where my cabin once was. It's all about the convienencey of having to not drag a bleeding corpse two decks below, compared to one deck below and aft. Doctor, Miss Kale... I wish you both the most of luck. Dr. Morgan... if you could possibley go below and assist Dr. Baxter I'd be infinitley obliged."
*Overhearing quite the commotion below in the waist of the gundeck, Jack tipped his hat to the company upon the quarterdeck and flew into the waist, completely ignoring the stairs that lead onto the Maindeck. Shooting down the mainhatch, Jack stooped and wnet along the guns to where Miss Melaria and Miss Ares were bickering like a couple of hens.*
"Ladies... Ladies... Silence On Deck. This is not the time to argue over who is charged with what crew or gun for that matter. What I need is co-operation and communication umongst my crew... this ecspecially includes my Officers. Therefore, when firing one broadside, I want one officer to every three guns. Miss Ares will take charge of four guns forward and has charge of overall operations. Now, get to it."

"Not a problem, my good captain. Besides I'd rather give my all so that I may have the satisfaction of dying with a smile on my face...not that I plan on dying. Hopefully I won't. Anyways, let us do battle!"

*she huffed at Miss Melaria's comment and headed towards another cannon* Men! Fire first rounds away! *as she lit the fuse, smoke filled the deck with the joined efforts of her crew. The cannon shot lurched forward out of the ship, as the cannon itself shot backward from force. The cannon balls shot towards the enemy ship with a deadly whistle*

Upon hearing the order from Miss Ares, Destiny lit the taper to the wick, and then turned to shield her ears and eyes. Once the cannonball was away, her crew then began to reload the cannon in anticipation of the next broadside.
Destiny checked the angle of the cannon as it was pointed towards the enemy ship, to make sure it would hit close to the waterline. She adjusted the cannon angle down ever so slightly, so as to flatten out the arc and make a clean shot. Finishing the adjustment, she glanced over at Kubain's cannon and hollered over the roar of cannon fire" Are ya hangin' in there mate? We didn't fire ya outofa cannon did we now? I hope not! You're too valuable to the ship!"
In her excitement, her accent reverted from sophisticated, upper-class gentleperson to a rough mix of southern field-worker and pirate slang..

*Kubain adjusted his cannon to fit Ares' order, fired, and reloaded for another round* My skull is practicaly made out of a cannonball, I wouldn't be surprized if I on top of that pile ready to be fired! *trying to speak over the cannon fire* You could probably convince me to jump in there sometime dring this. sweatdrop

*Aeoess ran from the cannons and grabbed a rifle, along with some powder and some bullets and returned to the deck. She then smiled to the captain.*
"You know captain, I was planning to return home and I was thinking that the British military would kill me on the spot...
However I now have the chance to go home knowing that I protected a family of wanted criminals and killed a few men who would hang me once I returned.
Thank you, Kurisutofa!!"
*She begins to fill the gun a with some powder and begins to get it prepped.
Once ready she aimed and hit one of the men stationed at one of the cannons fatally in the chest. Her aim was outstanding, and she planned to get rid of every man on the cannons, and every redcoat there as well. For her this was her moment to prove her worth, and for once she would do the job right. Aeoess finally had her dream job, she was finally doing something worth while on her terms. And there was no stopping her.
She continued to prep her gun and she continued to fire at every red coat she saw. Not one saw the light of day again.*

Turning back to her gunners, she cried out "READY MEN!" Flint in hand she bent down over her gun and started a spark.
"FIRE! AND MAKE DOUBLE SURE OF YOUR AIM NEXT ROUNND!" Her own cannon soon took the spark and let out a loud boom as the shot hopefuly towards the other ship. Looking out over the gun she watched as the shot soared over the water.

*Yells to all his crew*
WE TOOK DAMAGE TO THE MAIN TOPROYAL, SEE TO IT THAT FIXING THIS IS TOP PRIORITY. MY HOPES IS THAT WE FIGHT BEFORE WE FALL!, but I myself don't see us falling anytime soon.
KEEP GOOD EYE ON THE RIGGING, AND BE THANKFUL FOR THE BLESSING OF AEOESS'S SHARP SHOT. ALSO BE WEARY FOR THE BATTLE THAT APPROACHES, FOR WHEN IT COMES, RAISE ARMS AND BRING 'EM HELL!
As well as keep up the good work.

*Aeoess took out a few more redcoats.*
"WHY NOT GIVE 'EM HELL NOW, JOHN?"
*Aeoess began to prep the gun when another shot almost shook her from her spot in the nest. Once she prepped it she shot down another man at a cannon.
She continued to take out as many people by cannons as possible since they were a large threat at the moment, and with the toproyal damaged she needed to make those men her first priority before more damage to the ship could occur. The firing continued, and she knew that this ship wasn't going down without a fight!*

*Calmly replies to Aeoess*
Because they are over on that ship we are being shot at and I don't feel like swimming in the mist of cross fire. Also, I'm repairing the toproyal so we can keep maneuverability. Once on of us boards the other, then that hell can be brought'en.

*Aeoess laughs*
"You know that I didn't mean like that..."
*She shoots another one dead.*
"I mean like this! You know, killing them before they try to attack us at close range. We have the fire power, why not use it?"
*She begins to reload.*
"I know this isn't my place, but I seriously think we should have a few more sharpshooters at other parts of this ship. We can kill most of them off before their cannons have the chance of firing again."
*She fires at a redcoat who who was prepping a cannon and shoots him dead*
"...Like that!"
